Finally!!! Another new sneaker spot in San Francisco!! We need more like this. Lived in LA for a few years for school and loved how their were so many sneaker boutiques outside the normal foot locker which got limited releases. So having this open in SF has been amazing. Been going here since day 1 when they released the Just Don 2 by FCFS. Now everything is live raffle but very legit. This review is solely for customer service at this location. Arrived today to enter a raffle at Nice Kicks at the height location. There were two employees at the front desk a woman and a man. I'm assuming the man was the manager ( think his name was cliff) seemed like he wasn't doing anything at the time. So I asked if they could conduct the raffle outside. - Atlas is one of many stores that hold this option due to COVID and heavy foot traffic at stores I kindly asked the man at the front desk and he rudely responded back to stand outside and ignored my question. I understand that during these times there need to be strict rules out in place but the manner and tone I was spoken to was not okay. This review has nothing against the store or company (awesome product) but to have people manning the door who are incapable of communication and the ability to felicitate a crowd really looks bad overall. read more

Ordered a pair of Yeezys through Nice Kicks. They were stolen before arrival. Not only did Nice Kicks deny the theft they would not even attempt to find them. It is not only hard enough to find a pair of Yeezys but the price point is alot more than others making it harder than most to pays for them after paying rent on the First. The lets get to the icing on the cake they were ordered for my son it was his birthday. He was tracking them and was with me as we opened his empty birthday present. This place is shady. Walked in and found a pair of Jordan's I've been looking for. They had my size and I said I'd take them. I never took a good look at the shoes, trusting they'd be brand new. I was still browsing for a few minutes before walking up front to checkout. I noticed the box looked slightly damaged but because I was unable to find these shoes anywhere else I let it slide figuring if there were any problems I could just return them. The associate pulled the shoes out to confirm they were the right size and from what I could see they looked good, I never touched them. He rang me up and I glanced at the return policy in front of the register, again feeling confident I could return them if there were any issues. He puts the shoes and receipt in the bag and I head out. After running several more errands I finally get home to take a closer look. The shoes were clearly worn, not sure if they were returned or simply worn in the store. The soles of both shoes show they're dirty and I can see one or two hairs on the inside of one. I look at my receipt and see it's stamped Final Sale. This pissed me off as the associate never mentioned anything about these being a final sale. Super shady and really left me with a bad taste. I'm pissed at myself for not examining the shoes closer before I checked out. I should know better than to have faith in humanity. The description on the receipt doesn't even match the shoes I purchased. Says red/white box says coral stardust. Be warned and inspect anything you buy here. Management should make sure customers are clearly informed of final sales prior to purchasing. read more

Great selection of shoes and apparel, especially if you're into sneakers or sportswear. The store is really tastefully designed without being overly fancy. Their Adidas NMD collab is one of the coolest models in recent sneaker history. The staff here are super friendly and welcoming which is a huge plus. I think this open-arms approach to customer service is really refreshing among sneaker/streetwear shops, where typically exclusivity and hype reign supreme and outsiders of sneaker culture usually feel unwelcomed. This store lives up to its namesake (a double entendre when it comes to this store due to the cool kicks and nice service); an easy 5 stars for me. read more

These guys have all the new releases! I came here looking for the Curry 1 Lux gum bottoms here today, and they had them! And they have all the J releases here! Their prices are very reasonable, not a penny over retail. I could go broke up in this joint with all the nice kicks they have! Also, all the staff up in here are very friendly, attentive, and the most helpful people I have ever encountered in a store. The customer service here is top notch...i aint going to footlocker nomore...the workers at footlocker judge you by what you're rockin and ignore you if you don't have the latest Js on. LOVE this place! Came in for the first time today to buy some FentyxPuma pieces and they werent over pricing them like some places do. I love the look of the store as well! I think what made this place the most memorable was the customer service. They were extremely helpful and nice. They're fun to talk to and they talk to you like you've BEEN shopping with them for awhile and really take their time with you if you need help. Cool vibes in the store and good selection. Used to tell all my friends about this place. But had a bad experience this time which will definitely prevent me from shopping here again. I bought a pair of expensive Adidas, more than I've ever spent on a pair of shoes because I wanted to support the shop. Now, I've bought here before and there's always a small return period, but I guess not on this particular pair that I bought today, which nobody told me about before I bought them. I'm sure the sales guy was just trying to get his commission. Found the same pair of shoes right down the street for literally $100 less. I called them to ask if I could price match them because I still wanted to keep the shoes but obviously they were ripping me off on the price. They refused and also refused to return them because it said "final sale" on the receipt, so I could have only known it was final sale after already purchasing them. I even asked to explain my situation to a manager and they refused to transfer me to one. So overall it seems like they have no intention of offering anything even slightly resembling customer service and that's why I won't be recommending this place to people anymore. Overall just some very scummy tactics, and once they have your money they could care less about you. If you must shop here, at least check elsewhere first, before you throw $100 out the window like I did. read more

I had a pleasant experience at The San Francisco store on Haight Street. Staff lined up customers and allowed each customer to buy 1 pair of kicks. Now customers were allowed back in line to purchase again, however this prevents people from buying an entire stock of shoes at once, then reselling them for double the profit. This store has excellent customer service. I had originally planned to go to another shoe store on Haight but it turned out to be closed for business and happened upon Nice Kicks. Chris and Cliff helped us out and I feel like I want to shop here for shoes for the rest of my life because they were so attentive, friendly and helpful. The shoes are really nice but pricey for me. I told Chris my budget and he helped me find shoes that were exactly what I wanted for 1/3 of the price. I am extremely happy with my purchase and experience shopping at Nice Kicks. After checking out, we forgot our receipt and Cliff ran down Haight street to find us and give us our receipt. Amazing! Highly recommend. read more

Ordered a pair of yeezy boost carbon slate. There was a few things that didn't check out. The boost was to hard. The tags where off. The box was slightly bigger and the smell!! The smell was so strong. Which leads me to believe that they sold me fakes!!! It's sad how a reputable company are selling fakes. Wow, this store is not playing around! A brief history of this store (as told to me by the friendly sales gal) Nice Kicks started off as one of the most followed 'sneaker head' blogs in the 'States...by looking at what they got here, I believe them. So popular, they launched their first brick and mortar in Austin,TX and this SF store is their second. Funny as this store location used to always be a shoe store tho (Adidas, then Puma, now Nice Kicks but it was another shoe store prior to all them athletics ones...anywho...) so Nice Kicks seems to have found a natural fit in the neighborhood. The Haight is where you go for the really unique, quality and edgy things. I know when I want to get myself a pair of statement shoes (or statement anything for that matter) I come to the Haight. Or save my money and go to New York! =) Nice Kicks has shoes that you definitely won't find at your neighborhood Footlocker or mall. Of course the price tag on some of these kicks match it's "rarity" but surprisingly on the other hand, a good 90% of the shoes in there are the same price that you'd pay at the mall. Tourists, locals, and shoe lovers be warned! Sales staff here lie. All sales are final sales. My husband bought two pairs of shoes on Sunday. Before he bought them, he clearly asked the sales person what the return policy was. He was told 14 days money back with receipt and after 14 days is store credit. He went home and walked around the house in the shoes for a few minutes and realized they were too small. He then went back the SAME day (just a couple of hours after he'd purchased them) to return them since they don't fit. He talked to the same people (sales person and cashier) who he'd worked with. Surprise, surprise . . .They showed him that on his receipt it said "final sale." To make things even more insane, the cashier told him that, "I heard what the sales person said to you earlier about there being 14 days return and I told you these were final sale." That is a lie. No one told him the shoes were final sale. And if some sales person is giving out incorrect information (and other staff are hearing them) then that needs to be remedied at the source--not by screwing over customers. The sales person clearly just wanted to make a sale. The staff told my husband the manager would get back to him. No one has gotten back to him. And he even went in the next day, again, to try and resolve the issue. Guess what? No manager in the store either on day 2. Amazing how there's not a manager in the store when there's a problem. We're neighbors of this store and love to support local businesses but this isn't a store that deserves support (or business) from anyone. read more

I kept telling Honey that I was looking for a shoe I had read about nice kicks and were seeing bags and bags while walking . It was a sign , but I no way they would have the shoes I wanted. As We entered we were both intrigued by the decor there were shoes on the ceiling painted in gold it was amazing ...it was pretty crowded ...I wear kids size and generally a woman size 7 or 7.5 so when I did not see my shoe I gave up . I then noticed an elevator so honey and I went on it and we came upstairs ...I see a bunch of women and Im like "no babe it can't be " to my surprise not only was my shoe there in like 5 diff colors my shoe came out with 2 new colorways that had only been released for 24hrs!!! The girl was super nice I am very indecisive but she gave me her input on every shoe and got each size with no complaint ...there was 2 comfy couches that honey could sit on it was just hot as all hell up there no ac yikes! I will definitely be back when Im in town again and Im gonna go to the one in my hometown of L.A as well! read more

Staff is always dope and super friendly. They got a cool selection of gear, and it's nice to have one of the few shops in the nation here in the city. Came here for a yeezy live raffle once also- it was pretty disorganized in my opinion, but it was nice to see they had real winners from the raffle. Literally two people behind me and two people in front of me won, so it's nice to know I was pretty close and that the raffle wasn't [entirely] rigged. But there could have been plenty of better ways to go about the raffle without making us wait for literally hours. read more

This is a late review but but better late than never! We stopped by the shop while shopping Haight St. and was very mind blown by the set up and decor. They have this super dope decor of all these sneakers painted gold, hanging from the ceiling which looks so cool against the black walls. They have two floors, the bottom floor was men's selection and the women's selection was up the elevator. The women's selection was dope, they had a lot of sneakers that I would wear but nothing really caught my eye where I HAD to have them bc I wasn't planning on dropping $$$ that day on shoes in the first place so I was trying to resist. J was about to walk out but this SWEET, short gal stopped me before I got onto the elevator (must've been Filipina, I'm sorry I forgot your name girl bc I'm writing this like 2 months later, but I remember your face!) She saw my small feet and offered to take out the Strawberry Cookie Asics they had sitting in the back, last pair. How'd she know that I WAS ACTUALLY LOOKING for some Asics to cop! So she brought Them out for me, and I fell in love. I couldn't resist myself, I HAD TO HAVE THEM! Overall I must say the shop decor is very appealing, the selection is appealing, but what's going to make me come back is THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Every one of the employees greeted us and chit chatted with us, but most importantly, this gal that offered me the Asics went above and beyond.
