Rude and condescending staff of young Hispanics, who know nothing about customer service make for a poor experience. I went in to purchase a pair of Jordan Of 1s, and they had my size. Apparently, due to inventory loss, the customer can only try one shoe at a time. When I was ready to try the right shoe, they summarily ignored me, even though I was ready to purchase. Don't bother wasting your time. Purchase elsewhere. NOT RECOMMENDED! At least six employees standing doing nothing. Maybe time to cut unproductive staff. By the way the door says to pull, but there is no handle, to deter shoplifters, which is certainly a fire safety code violation. read more

Today I was received the worst customer service ever! I am or shall I say was a regular customer at this location in the past few weeks I've spent over a couple of grand there. Today I made a purchase. The male staff in the store was verbally disrespectful to me, he talked to me as if I was a piece of garbage. He needs to be retrained in customer service. The employees here are always cool and helpful. They greet you soon as you walk in and help with anything in the store you need. For the most part they usually have the latest drops and sizes, this is definitely my go to in person store. Check them out, just don't call lol because that's a struggle but guarantee drop by the store during business hours 9/10 they'll have what you want. read more

I shopped here many times over the years as my son's school is up the street. I visited this store 6:28pm yesterday and the door was closed, however, there were customers still shopping inside. Probably the employees' friends. A young sales associate named James came to the door and partially opened the door about three inches to speak with me. He told me the store was closed, I said I just need two pairs of converse, he told me that they don't sell converse. Obviously a LIE. I asked that why the store hours online listed closing time at 7pm he said he wasn't in charge of that. Well he came off rude, unpleasant and unfriendly. I am an HR Manager and I think the young man needs to be counseled. He needs remedial training in how to properly display customer service. I also think that the location needs to change its hours to closing at 6:30p online to avoid confusion. James told me they close every day at 6:30p and 5:30p on Sundays. I am appalled that the door was shut on my face when I would have easily and quickly bought two maybe even three pairs of shoes. And get this... As I walked away and reached the corner, two young Shiekh associates came running after me to tell me, "hey, hi, the store is open you can come in and get your shoes". Obviously those two employees knew that either James was in the wrong and/or they would get in trouble closing the store early. This place totally sketches me out...but I got a really cute pair of Lacoste shoes for pretty cheap! They have really ghetto brands including akademiks, pro-keds, roca wear (none of which I would be caught dead wearing!), but they also sell a wide variety of old school Nikes and such. It took them 3 tries to actually find the shoes I wanted in the correct size, first they looked at UK size instead of the US size, then they brought out a box that had one size 7 and one size 5, then finally they brought out the correct box, which was totally covered in dust, but whatever they were pretty cheap! The way they run credit cards is kinda sketch too...they do the old school carbon copy of your credit card, which means your credit card number is floating around their store all day...SKETCH!!! I had worked for the one in southland mall for 5 years. great experience but i'm so glad i'm out of there. but the perks of getting good shoes were good. discounts left and right even for you friends. no tax hear and there...watevers. since its gone so big, shiekh's customers services went down the hill. its because they offer commission to the workers to work their asses off, but they only end up scaring off customers because they are consistently bothered by them. read more

It was close to closing time when I strolled in, and started browsing but I didn't know it. They let me know the sales going on and then let me browse without me feeling rushed or stalked around the store. I ended up picking out this pair of oxfords that had a flaw in one shoe so I asked her to get a second pair just to see if they were un-flawed. Turns out they had a very similar flaw but on the opposite shoe, so she let me put the two 'good' ones together to buy them. Worse customer service from a manager that I've ever experienced. I think his name was Mario Campos? Is what they told me when I called t get his name so I can complain. Extremely rude and unwilling to help and go beyond doing anything but standing there. My mom wanted to order a pair of shoes that she had a picture of and he said he couldn't do anything because we didn't have the code. My mom told him they did it for her last time and he then called over another worker and told her to search for the shoes because it was going to take 30-45 mins and he needed to go to the bank. The only reason I didn't cuss him out for being so rude was because I actually know the worker he called on to help personally and didn't want to do that in front of her. My order# 479957 They have the worse customer service ever, I order three items' earlier in the December. Every time I called to check the status of my order, no one ever answer the phone. So I deiced to send a email telling them I want my money back that I don't want the order. I get a reply saying my order was shipped. So my order comes in and only one items comes. I order three so they send me a letter saying my order was canceled. so I called for like 5 days straight and sent emails asking for my refund. Still no reply. I am so upset with them the item that they did send I am sending it right back. There stuff looks so cheap, like if it gets wet it will fall apart. I had won a raffle here for some Jordans and ended up getting to the store at 12:57pm...right before 1pm when they release all shoes that haven't been picked up by the raffle winner. When I got there the door was locked and there were hella people standing out front. I banged on the door and they motioned to me that it would be one minute. After speaking to the people standing out front I was told they never opened their doors for the raffle winners to come pick up and the workers had been locked up in the shop since the store opened. I waited 30 minutes to see what was going to happen. I saw a short, thin mexican decent man walk up to the door and I could see the worker walking towards the door. So I asked him who he was. He said his name was Rudy Calderone and he was the district store manager. I asked him why the store was locked and informed him that I was a raffle winner who had been waiting to pick up my shoes. He told me all pick-ups had been done. How would he know if he just walked up? The past two pairs of shoes I bought from Shiekhs Shoes (downtown) I have had nothing but problems; the first time they didn't have my size and they wanted to order them personally for me, they said 5 days at most, turned out to be 4 months! Then they didn't even discount them for me. The second time I bought a pair of boots and about one month later the zipper completely broke, so I called them and they said no receipt, not our problem. Avoid this store at all costs!!! Worst customer service I have ever received! The sales people have no clue what they are doing my boyfriend bought me a pair of boots for Christmas and they give him two left boots! When I went in to change the boots i stood in the store for 45 mins trying to explain what size I needed in the boot and they still came out with the wrong sizes! When I said to them did they not have 2 right boots since I have 2 left I was told that they had sold somebody else 2 right boots! After being there 45 mins I said I would just take my money back which they wouldn't do they said they would give me store credit only for half of what I paid for the boot! After all this I am home with 2 left boots !
