This was the OG Nike town store. It's mainly a tourist trap Nike store. They have a decent regular collection but you won't find any hot shoes from release day drops. You'll probably find better shoes down the block at Shoe Palace lol. The service here is hit or miss. Sometimes there are a lot of workers to help but most of the time it's hard to find someone to help you. The best thing is the customization area where you can make a custom hoodie or shirt. Too bad it only says "San Francisco" for their designs. It should have other Bay Area cities but I get it... it's made for tourist. I won't be coming back here anymore. read more

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. The store had very limited inventory, and they do not accept returns or exchanges--even within 60 days. We were told by Alex that only Nike online handles returns during that timeframe. I'm attaching a picture of our barcode because we initiated the return online already and he refused to scan the barcode and said we had to return it online. Although clearly it says on the barcode return to store. We've spent thousands at Nike this year, and when we needed an exchange within 45 days due to defective seams, we were directed to handle it online instead. This was during the holidays, which made it especially inconvenient. Customer service was lacking (Alex), and the issue was not handled with care or flexibility. 0 stars! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Spent 16+ hours waiting for the Nike x BTS collab. Followed all rules given by Nike security, but SF Nike store manager Raquel Collazo was on a power trip & removed us from front of line & refused to give us wristbands. Raquel Collazo & her team were giving ppl conflicting info for the Nike x BTS collab event. We were the first ones to arrive on 7/4 & waited for over 16 hrs. Security told us to wait in our car & line up at the entrance when they set up stanchions on 7/5 11am. They confirmed multiple times on 7/4 & 7/5 not to line up in the unofficial line across the street bc it would not be honored. 7/5 approximately 10am: Raquel, Mel & security guard exited the store & walked across the street to the unofficial line at "the Square." Other employees brought out the stanchions, so we went to line up at the entrance. However, the employee had no clue what to do & had us wait there so he can radio his manager. We waited for a while, & were passed to another employee named Mel, who also didn't know what to do. Then, Mel passed us to Raquel. We told her we needed wristbands bc we were the first to arrive on 7/4 & have been waiting for 16 hrs. However, she was rude, dismissive & refused to give us wristbands. Raquel was on a power trip & kept repeating, "THEY REPORT TO ME" when asking ARMY's who advised us to line up at the Nike entrance. We even offered to show pictures that we took when we arrived, but she said no and ignored us. So, ARMY's who followed the rules were punished & removed from the line for no reason. Nike, please retrain your employees! Raquel Collazo lacks empathy & accountability & did not apologize for their misinformation. This goes against Nike's core expectations for Nike's Code of Conduct. Also, Raquel Collazo claimed she spent 30 days training her team for the BTS x Nike event, but it was poorly managed & executed. Many of us ARMY's spent our days, money, time, energy, & gas traveling to SF for nothing. Unfortunately, a highly anticipated event that was meant to be sweet, fun & memorable turned sour. NIKE at SF, do better. It's embarrassing. We're longtime Nike customers & spent lots of money on Nike products, but we are never returning to this location. This negative experience has tainted the Nike brand's reputation. We will be taking our business to competitor brands that have high customer satisfaction. This is a good Nike store, formerly Niketown. I remember, back in the early 2000's, I would wait in line before they open for the retro Jordans. Back then, retro Jordans were around $110. Nowadays, it is $210. Regardless of the prices, I like the service here. No questions asked if I wanted to return something, even though I rarely do. Sometimes items go on sale in store only and cost more on Nike.com. So, heads up and check the price tag before you buy. Also one time, I wanted to checkout a leather Nike Air jacket on a mannequin. There weren't any on the rack. The sales clerk helped me get one from the back. That was awesome. I still love that jacket because not a lot of people has it. read more

I've seen videos of doing the customizable Nike products at international stores, so to find out that Nike SF was doing it too was a nice surprise! My husband was really excited to go through the different screen prints and select an arrangement for his shirt. The service was great! They were really patient with us while we made our decisions about what prints we wanted and our final choices for design. I was initially going to customize a crewneck sweatshirt, but I ended up changing my mind. This was a really fun experience, and could be especially memorable if you're visiting the SF area for the first time! I'm ngl, it kinda pricey since you're paying for the product you're customizing, plus the print (or multiple prints in my husband's case). The price of the prints depends on the size , I believe. For me I love playing basketball so I've bought a lot of tech fleece pants over the years and running shoes Lucky I was able to hit on KD14 Aunt Pearls. My grandmother actually fought it as well around the age of 78. Nikes customer service is really good people make think their service isn't good but it really is. I try avoid peak hours but I notice Nike always gets busy, so be patient with them because they're some of the coolest peoples! read more

The worst customer service! Came here to the kids' section and no one could be found to help me. The staff just hanging out in the back and no one seems to rush and help the customers! I visited the Nike store to pick up my sister's birthday present and had the pleasure of being helped out by a team member named Josh. I entered the store on what felt like the busiest day of the year, each floor was buzzing and there weren't too many team members available to help. I'm not sure if it were the helpless look on my face or the sweat dripping down my forehead from scouring each level looking for an associate that could simply grab my pickup order and send me on my way, but an associate named Josh literally stopped with a totem pole of shoe boxes in his arms and asked if I needed help. I told him I had a pickup order and he said he'd grab it once he put the shoes down. Josh circled back within a few minutes to assist me. I asked him "Is the store was usually this busy?" and he informed me that a sale was going on, and he jokingly mentioned that he thought I was a team member standing around at first glance due to my attire. Looking down, I realized that I was in a black Nike workout top, black Nike shorts, Nike socks and Nike Metcons... it made sense why a few strangers asked me about stock and inventory during this adventure Looking at my order, Josh informed me that my order was eligible for the discount; so he returned my order for me, then helped me purchase my order with the discount. It's hard to find genuine customer service like this, it was the first time in a long time that I felt proud being a Nike consumer. What was supposed to be a fun and memorable outing for my son's first pair of Jordans turned into a deeply uncomfortable experience. Came out here on a weekday, parked at the Union Street Garage and walked across the street onto Post St. The NIKE Store is situated on the corner of Stockton St and Post St. There is security inside and police officers on the outside. The store has 4 levels and is well stocked with shoes of all kinds as well as clothing and accessories. The staff is plentiful and helpful. We came to exchange some online shoes and clothing. It helps to be part of the Nike club. Exchange was performed quickly and painlessly especially when you have the receipts. Recommend. read more

We waited for support but no one came by and even asked us if we needed help, and eventually had to flag down some one for help. Then the employee brought the pair of shoes out, he almost threw the box at us and left, avoiding me when we were trying to get a different size. After waiting about another 10 minutes, we asked another employee for help. He was a little more helpful but serving too many people so inefficient and frustrating for all. My daughter really wanted Nike shoes so we had to stay and deal with the lack of service, long wait and careless staff, but if it were just me I would have left from the very beginning. Let me start off with I HATE coming into this store! I can't look at all of their stuff and leave with my full body intact. By the time I take a look at everything, it would cost me an arm and a leg. Nike always has SOOO many good products that it's very difficult for me to leave empty handed. It's my first time back since they revamped the store and it looks incredible! From the entrance way up the escalator to the main floor, you can hear the crowd cheering for you to the multiple floor of visual surprises, this store has received an amazing face lift. Nike had a special event "Boba Run" where the runners got to run to eat and drink boba! What a fun event it was! Nike and Boba Guys got together and made this collaboration happen! Every time I come to this store, I'm more disappointed than the last with the lack of assistance and customer service. There used to be a standard to greet and ask if you could help a customer find something, now you're lucky if the floor associates will stop talking to each other long enough to help, if you can even call just looking at you and saying "no we don't have it" without checking. Went in to try on and purchase new running shoes, I knew they were onsite because they were available to order same day pick up with a 2-hour max but I hadn't purchased this type before and wanted to try them on. After looking and not seeing them on the floor, asked the associate that was in the Women's Shoes area (but not actually working just socializing), where they could be located, he simply looked at the picture and just said we don't have those and went right back to his conversation goofing around with his coworker. Ended up still having to order them for pick up from the same store I was already in, waited an hour to receive the email that they were ready and picked them up. I've had multiple experiences at this store where an associate simply tells me they just don't have something without bothering to check the system or in the back and every time the items were available in the store.
