I was ok with my gel nail but the regular polish to accompany (DND 036) was 2 shades lighter. So I said no I didn't want that color just do a French tip. The guy charged for the white line even though their colors don't match. I also noticed that their was no sterilizer. The guy who did my hands and toes was using alcohol for cleaning the utensils. I went to Elle nail and spa for a mani & pedi. I received shellac and it lasted less than 24 hours before a nail chipped. I went back they fixed it for free and not even 24 hrs after the fix, it chipped again and another nail along with it. their prices were high and not worth it. read more

Had to create my own ambiance. It's the awkward silence that's a no for me. Then I had to tell the nail tech to make the feet similar. She trimmed one foot and then left the other long and I'm like... can you make them match each other??i thought that was just a given. Just disappointing really. They turned out ok but at 35$+ for a service there should be ppl with more experience providing the service or a lower price for having beginners. Massage was mid. Polish turned out decent. The fact that no customers were in the shop should have been a warning. I ordered a peppermint pedicure and it was terrible. The lady cut my toenails so short that my little toe bleed. The rest of the pedicure was uncomfortable because it burned. The hot stones were too hot. It felt rushed as well. No apology for cutting my toenail off and no discount. When I told her she was hurting me she replied that she was trying to cut the thick one. I have NEVER had a salon do this and have had pedicures for years. This place used to be good but assuming they changed owners years ago because they are so inconsistent with how they do their jobs and pricing. They are so close to my home and take walk ins, so I decided to give it another chance and shortly after I regretted that decision. I got a pedicure and a manicure with shellac and it was quite possibly the quickest and most unrelaxing pedicure. She kept dropping my feet / heels on the tub when she was "massaging" them. She put lotion / oil on my legs after she already started painting my toes.. for the shellac "manicure", she filed my nails after painting them and then proceeded to massage my hands / arms with lotion with the shavings from my nails. Half a**sed job if you ask me. She also cut my skin on my finger and just kept working on my nail and did not even say a word about it. Towards the end of the manicure, she filed my nails down so short it was hurting my fingers.. I already have short nails (nail biter), they didn't need anymore filing! My younger daughter came with me and this lady couldn't even take off her old nail polish spots on her fingernails! I could not take it anymore. I am budgeting for Christmas but my toes needed a redo stat. I cannot stand my toes being chipped or *gasp* bare, it is one of my female vanities. What was a spa girl to do? I avoid strip mall type nail places because I am diabetic. I have to be extremely careful with my feet so I generally try not to scrimp on their servicing but that can get very expensive. When I read Brenda's review of here that mentioned they opened new packs of tools for each client I decided I would give it a whirl. Cleanliness is huge in my book, I cannot afford a problem with infection. I was not expecting much atmosphere wise but was pleasantly surprised. While not as glam as some of my nail places this place was nice and clean. There was no wait, people were friendly and the price was dirt cheap. Not only did they have an OPI shade I adored, but they opened a fresh bottle for me yay. Honestly though I could have picked 5 or 6 shades as they had a lot of great ones. My tech was very nice but quiet which I liked. I chilled out with my magazine and got a very nice spa style pedicure, complete with foot massage. I am very excited as it was almost half price to what I usually pay, it is not too far from my house and various regular errands and now I can keep getting pedis on my budget. I feel so much prettier with nice toes, even if only seen by my husband and I. I love that their manicures are so cheap and they run a great deal on a mani pedi combo. Not a great experience. I walked in as he was finishing his other customer. While I was serviced immediately, he did not clean or sanitize his station or tools before starting my nails. He was rushing to finish and not paying much attention, he kept getting distracted and then coming back to rush again. I didn't say anything because I figured he's the professional, it will come out by the end. Not the case. Sloppy work, uneven acrylic placement and shaping, the shellac has bubbles on various fingers, and that's not to mention that it took until the following morning to get all of the excess acrylic off of my hands and cuticles. From a distance, not too bad but all of these little issues add up to make my nails very ugly in my opinion. I tipped but I doubt I would return. read more

I wanted to visit this nail salon 3 times to ensure that my review is based on consistent outcomes. I have had 2 shellac manicures toes and nails and one standard pedicure with polish change / one shellac polish change w/o manicure. I also treated my hubby to a peppermint pedicure for his birthday. (Which was really nice) The shellac manicures/pedicures were consistently good. The Shellac polish change was sloppy the pedicure with polish change was VERY sloppy. None of the tools were sanitized and 90% of the gel polish was crusty/expired. I took my mom and daughter for pedicures and all three of us are shocked and disappointed with the result. I went here for the first time ever for a gel manicure & was rushed. My nails were uneven, lumpy, and chipping not even a week after they were done. At first they were nice and i showed her what i wanted, (flesh colored sparkling acrylic nails with a Diamond heart) she told me she could do it. Then proceeded to put a pinkish acrylic on i didn't make a big deal out of it until she started on the heart she made it a circle i asked her politely to fix the end a little and she told me it was very hard to make a heart, i understood that could be difficult but she told me prior that she could do it. This nail salon is headed into the toilet. They barely have any staff anymore. The staff that they do have work slower than snails. I came in on a Wednesday at 4:45 and they told me 30 minutes. I figured I would wait. There are only 4 people working. After 20 minutes I asked since I was only getting a pedicure if I could at least sit in the chair and soak my feet. I am 7 months pregnant so I figured it would feel great. They put me in a chair and forgot about me. It was 6:00 before they even started my pedicure. Now let's do the math 4:45 to 6:00 is not 30 minutes. Don't lie to people on how long it will take so they don't walk out. BE HOBEST. All I'm going to do is sit in the chair and get pissy because I already waited and at this point I don't wanna leave. This is the sorriest pedicure I have ever gotten I would have been better off just getting a polish change because there was no massage and they barley did anything on the bottom of my feet. I'm so sick of them thinning out ALL the nail polish it doesn't last when you do that! I'm done coming here again I'm a regular every 2-3 weeks shellac mani with a pedicure. It's not like I just come in for polish changes. I'm sick of ALWAYS having to wait and hour no matter what time or day of the week. I really want to like this place but I just can't. I've been here about 5-10 times ONLY because I live a mile away and they allow walk-ins. But to say that they ALWAYS hurt me is an understatement. I have been scalded by the hot stones, water and hot towels. I've also been scratched by a hot stone that has an imperfection that the owner (older woman with glasses) refuses to get rid of. Today she scrubbed my foot so hard and fast that she skinned the side of my foot. Also, they don't listen. I told her multiple times i wanted squoval nails even after she applied my tips and started filing them as almond. I again told her i wanted square with rounded corners and she rudely yanked the tips off and applied new ones. It pulled my real nail off and then she filed them EVEN MORE! Now my fingers burn and are in pain from this brutality. On top of that, they are always rude and trying to rush me. It is the opposite of relaxing to have to turn sideways for over an hour while the owner does my mani while I get my pedi done as well. Especially when they start and then leave you for 30 mins at a time to do other things. She put one nail tip on and then left. She tried to do that to me when I was 9 months pregnant and I told her no. Wish i would have this time too. I really regret coming back to this place after not having been here in over a year but I had a spare of the moment free time from my kids and wanted to get my nails done. This place was awful. I got a pedicure and there was only one lady doing them. Had my feet in the water for 30 minutes before she finally made her way over to do mine. My actual "service" lasted about 10 minutes since she rushed through the whole thing. She painted only the top part of my toenails so the sides are just completely missed and have no polish on them. I've been here before and had great experience. This time was horrible. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and asked him if it was possible. He said ok and picked out the polishes needed. As you can see, this whole nail job is a disaster! Acrylic is way too thick (didn't even file it down, only the sides), nails are all Different shapes and lengths, never treated my cuticles, and the color....the "natural" color actually changes colors to a gray and looks horrible!! Needless to say, I will be going back tomorrow and asking one of the girls if they can fix this mess! read more

It shouldn't be this hard to find a decent place to get a shellac polish/manicure. Got my nails done Monday and the polish on 3 nails has chipped by Thursday. I go to get them redone and not only do they have me waiting 40 minutes, they took two people ahead. I don't know if another place had the color and I felt they should fix their mistake so I waited. Won't come back here again. Customer service is poor and so was my polish. I just wanted my nails done correctly and for them to at least act like they care they messed up. read more

I received the fastest $45 pedicure, she walked off and man came to finish up (no words) and then she proceeded to come stand over while I'm under the dryer, requesting payment & stood there over my shoulder saying tip! no thank you, goodbye or anything! There was a woman receiving a pedicure when I arrived and mines was completed faster than hers and I got shellac on my toe nails. It was very rushed!! My toes are poorly polished. I got a fill in and that was also sloppy done. My usual place wasn't available. It has been less than 12hrs since I got my nails done and the shellac is peeling off! They are going to swear I did this but all I did was scratch my aunts back and then take a shower and they're peeling bad. I am going in the morning for a refund or I will dispute it with my bank! YES! Finally! A successful gel nail mani! After my horrible experience last month I thought I would give up trying but since I had such a great experience here with a regular mani pedi, I figured I'd give them a shot. So glad I did-- my nails are gorge! This time--the machine was plugged in! And they had two, one for each hand, so I didn't have to do a crazy swapperoo every time I had to stick my hand in. Also, they had a great selection of colors to choose from. I went with one of my fav OPI colors, Lincoln Park After Dark, a dark purple, almost black, which looked wonderful on my short nails. I told the gal I was in a bit of a hurry so she got down to business quickly and efficiently. She did a beautiful job, they're all even and even stronger now thanks to the gel. And when I walked out my nails were completely dry which made fishing for my keys easy peasy. 5 days later and my nails STILL look great! The only drawback to this style is that when it's time to get them redone (2-3 weeks) I have to go back to have them soak the gel off. But I can probably figure out how to do that at home too. I went in there yesterday for a soak off and full set and let me just say disappointed. I came in first which followed three other women she soaked me for an hour which my nails had been soaked of at that point to do others nails. Then when she finally got to me she was burning my fingers. Then I kept telling her I wanted coffin shape which she gave me square even after reassuring me she would make them coffin. Then they talk shit in Chinese ! Overall if you have to go to the place go to the man the women who own it cannot do nails for shit and she's awful. One hand is longer then the other! I have been here twice since last month. The first time for a full set and a pedicure and the second for a fill in and a pedicure. Both times, I saw a different nail tech. The first time, a young woman did my pedicure and a man did my full set. The second time, an older woman did both my fill and pedicure. First time was on a Sunday and I got there a little later in the day. There were only 2 clients in the salon, so they were not busy. I did get the basic pedicure for $30. I just feel like they didn't let me sit and relax to enjoy it. I attributed this to it being towards the end of the day. Second time was on a Saturday. I got there at around 11:30 a.m. They were not terribly busy and an elderly woman did both my fill and pedi. She was going way too fast. I opted again for the basic $30 pedi and again, I did not get to soak my feet very long or enjoyment from the chair massage. Which, it is whatever...The woman herself gave a great foot massage, she was a little rough. I like the way my nails turned out and she sculpted them the way I asked. However, I am not at all impressed with my polish on my toes. It turned out a little jank...she could have taken more time...$65 for shellac/acrylic fill and pedicure...plus I tipped her $10...so a total of $75...even though I was a little put off. Overall, I gave them 4 out of 5 stars. I am going to try a few other places. I feel like their prices are a little high. If I am going to pay this much every 2 to 3 weeks, I want the best looking nails. They are professional, clean and they get you in and out quickly. I might try them one more time... read more

BEWARE Under new management so disappointed! Second time back Dirty rusty utensils! Manager tried to explain the sterilizer process to me. I work on sterilizer's and I told her point blank the utensils are dirty! Scrub that shit with soap and a nail brush. Anyhow the tech that did my nails was nice enough to get clean utentils. But he could NOT have been licensed with the aweful hack job on my pedicure/ manicure and shellac nails or he did not care. 1) could not speak or understand english. Or choose not to! NOT LICENSED!! 2) i tried to ask for him to make all my nails even. Such as my nails are rounded not half round and half square tips. 3) don't think he knew how to use cuticle cutters. 4) shellac did not cover some of the sides of my nails or the shellac was stuck to my cuticle and side skin of my nails 5) I asked for the cat eyes design that is not what I got I refused to pay for the full shellac manicure. But I did pay for a basic mani / pedi $45. Time to look for a new salon. read more
