Bulgogi Bowl with Kimchi Fried Rice
    Meri A.

Yum! I was craving Bulgogi and came across this option at the UTC mall located in the food court. This Korean food stall has a variety of dishes and the food was tasty and plentiful with friendly and efficient service! I enjoyed the beef and kimchi fried rice and also hot to try the honey garlic fried chicken with japchae noodles which was flavorful as well. Seating is plentiful nearby with views of the ice skating rink with the spacious side as this stall is located towards the restrooms.

Ordered the bulgogi poutine fries to go. All I got were some fries with a little bit of cheese sauce and didn't notice until I got home. What an absolute scam for $7.99

The food was good, but definitely not $40+ for two bowls good. There wasn't much meat in either bowl. The sauce offered on the side was good, but had I noticed before leaving only 1/4 of the container was filled I would have asked for two more to get at least 3/4 worth of it. Service was good & fast for it being at lunch time. It would be great to have clearer areas for people to wait for their food versus the line to order. We stood there for over five minutes thinking the crowd which resembled a line, were people just waiting around for their food order. If you're looking to spend $20+ per person it might be worth it to go to a sit down restaurant within the mall versus the food court.

Although the business name and owners have changed multiple times over the years, this vendor stand at the Westfield UTC Mall dining terrace has continued to serve fast casual Korean food. Nice Rice is the latest iteration offering a build your own bowl concept. There were three steps to the ordering process... protein, base, and sauce. Nine proteins, five bases, and four sauces were available. I chose the first listed protein which was the galbi or BBQ beef short ribs. Egg fried rice was my base along with sweet soy sauce. Galbi was the most expensive meat, and there were about ten pieces of grilled short ribs with good char in the bowl. The kitchen made a mistake and provided white rice instead of the fried egg version. Not much sweet soy sauce was provided in a small plastic cup which made the mixture in the bowl rather dry. Eight add-ons/sides and several beverages, some of which were prepackaged, rounded out the rest of the menu. My order didn't take long to be prepared as there was only one customer ahead of me. I gave a three star rating for the quality of my bowl for the $16.99 I paid.

Quick grab and go spot. The food came out fast and the portions were bigger than I expected. Ordered the Bulgogi with half rice and half salad (they charge an extra dollar to do that). The bulgogi wasn't too salty or overly sweet. It balanced well overall with the rice. I'd definitely come back if I needed a quick lunch and a protein fix.

Honey garlic fried chicken on kimchi fried rice

It's nice that there's an affordable Korean food option at UTC now. I'm rooting for this Korean-owned business to succeed! The prices are reasonable and the portions are pretty big in my opinion. My husband had the honey garlic fried chicken on kimchi fried rice. I love that they have kimchi fried rice as an option (even though the kimchi flavor is not that strong). The chicken was good, crispy but maybe on the slightly saltier side. NOTE: This place is definitely catering to a Western palate. It's not authentic Korean food! But as long as you know to expect that, I think you will like it. I didn't find the service to be unfriendly at all as opposed to what another reviewer mentioned. I think it's important to be culturally aware and realize that the people who work here aren't necessarily being unfriendly by being more reserved and direct.

I'm giving this Korean food stand 5 stars because they exceeded my expectations. I ordered Galbi with Kimchi fried rice and my husband had Bulgogi with kimchi fried rice. The meat was so tender and was seasoned very well. The kimchi fried rice was really tasty. My husband loved the bulgogi. Service was great and they served our food quickly. I will definitely go back for some Galbi on my next craving.

Not worth it, doesn't look or taste like regular Cheese Tteok-Bokki. It tastes absolutely awful! If you never had Tteok-Bokki or Korean food pls avoid, you will just have bad impression about Korean food!

Excellent quick option given what's available, you can taste the freshness of the ingredients which is rare in a mall food court. Reminded me more of a cantina style spot in Hong Kong! Quick and friendly service l, didn't take long.

Unfortunately, the beef tongue was the biggest letdown of the night. It was dry and seemed like it wasn't very fresh. However, the ribeye, beef short rib, and rib fingers were all good and ended up being my favorite meats of the evening. The biggest issue was the service. We came on a busy Saturday night, and while I understand weekends get hectic, the service was painfully slow. Our server never seemed to be in much of a rush, even with a packed restaurant. Since you're only allowed to order 4 plates of meat at a time, the long waits between rounds meant we spent more time waiting than eating. We also had to ask twice for a grill change, and it still took a long time before he actually returned with a grill change. By the time our next round of meat arrived, we were already getting full, which really took away from the all-you-can-eat experience. What made this visit even more disappointing is that I've eaten here before, and it used to be one of my favorite KBBQ spots. I celebrated my birthday here last year, and it was hands down one of the best KBBQ meals I've had. This visit just didn't come close to that experience. I'm hoping this was just an off night. I know Buga is capable of much better, but based on this experience, I can only give it 3 stars.

Aside from the food, the service was great from the busboy to our server, and to the lady (owner?) who wished us well as we left the restaurant. The ambiance was great. It felt like I was in a small Korean village restaurant enjoying local cuisine. While the food, service, and ambiance were great, the parking situation is brutal. It is a small lot shared with other businesses in the plaza and spaces can be tight for a truck or SUV. The key here is patience or arrive early. We made it before our reservation and I'm so glad we got a head start since I knew we would be on Convoy (iykyk). Overall, they really went the extra mile to accommodate a reservation for our large party and their service was above and beyond. Kudos to their team. And their dishes are worth coming back to. I especially enjoyed their Hot Stone Bibimbap and Tofu Soup (Soon Dubu) here, as well as their Galbi Short Ribs. I hope to be back again soon!

We ordered the spicy rice cakes (added ramen noodles) to start, bulgogi plate and tofu soup with beef. The meal came with 7 Bandhan but they were just Ok so we didn't finish them.
