Another fabulous Wine Tasting Day with Katie! She is the best. Selected great new wineries for us to visit. Was attentive as always and adjusted to a few changes for us! We highly recommend Katie!

Katie was superb! Her knowledge of the area, the wineries she selected and the industry as a whole was phenomenal. Her attention to detail and getting to know us to source our wineries for the day was really on point. Katie went so far as to have our lunch reservation at Niner Wines, so that we could celebrate our anniversary just below Heart Hill! I highly recommend choosing Katie as your luxury tour guide and driver!

This is my fourth tour with Katie. Luxurious, private, and customized, Katie takes you to wineries that make wine tasting a pleasure. Katie is highly knowledgeable about where to go, what to think about when you taste (pairings, order in which to taste, the 'rules' of wine) and offers useful, tactile suggestions. I'm much more knowledgeable about wine because of Katie and her ability to impart knowledge in such a friendly manner. If you are in a Paso Robles and want to go taste great wine, relax and enjoy yourself, this is who you need to hire immediately.

The wine tasting with a view. Taking a tour of the property with the vintner before continuing our tastings was a highlight!

The highlight of 2020 has been a wine tasting tour with Katie and Niche Wine Tours. My family and I booked a private tour with Katie and she delivered a truly customized experience that we are still talking about weeks later! Her knowledge of wines and her personal relationships with the wineries (and wine makers) allows for experiences you might not just get by booking on your own. Plus getting to have an actual sommelier as your guide for the day is such a unique benefit. I highly recommend Niche and hope to make a return visit to Paso Robles so we can work with Katie again!

Great day today with Katie and Niche! My wife and I kicked off our 30th Anniversary trip, and day one was with Katie! She set up all of our tours and they were amazing! She even made us reservations for dinner and gave us tons of suggestions for things to do on our down days! You are missing out if you don't work with Katie while in Paso!

Niche's amazing tour guide, Katie, took us out today in Paso Robles. We were looking for a more personalized and educational wine tour, as opposed to the typical cattle hearding tour buses that you can book through a hotel. What we got was beyond what we ever imagined. Katie's knowledge of all aspects of wine, from farming to tasting and everything in between, is exactly what you'd expect from a certified sommelier. It was truly an unforgettable experience that you can't quite find anywhere else. If you're looking for a luxury wine tour this is it.

Huge thanks to that goes to our host, Tamara. She was an absolute delight! Our glasses were never empty and she was just such a funny, quirky host. About halfway through our flight, she took us downstairs for the cave tour. Wow, what a stunner! Such a unique touch to this winery. The other incredible thing is that Eberle doesn't charge for tastings so you might as well pick up a bottle or two :)

The history alone is enough to get you through the door, but the wine is what keeps you there. Pair the tasting with all the stories behind the winery, and it's easily one of the more interesting experiences in Paso. The staff is also incredibly friendly and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The patio is a beautiful spot to taste, and if you're there later in the day, the sunset views are hard to beat. Definitely do the free cave tour while you're there. It's one of the coolest winery tours I've been on. The caves are a massive labyrinth carved into the hillside and naturally stay around 55 degrees year round, which is where they age a lot of their wine before bottling. Even if you've been to a lot of wineries, this is something a little different. At the time I'm writing this, tastings are still complimentary, which is almost unheard of these days. If you go, do them a favor and leave with a bottle or two. That's how places like this are able to keep offering experiences like this, and honestly, you'll probably want to take some wine home anyway.

I figured we would be seated but the tasting occured standing up at the bar, which was fine. The tastings were generous, and customizable. My friend decided to do a white tasting, and I did the standard tasting. It was pretty hot, so about halfway through the tasting, we sat down at a table in the shade and walked up for the rest of our tastings but by that time, a large group had come through so the server was busier but still managed to remember where we were in the tasting. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and gave great suggestions. When we were done with our tastings, we walked around the property to look at the sculptures and the grounds. I did buy a bottle of wine and picked it up inside where they had other items for sale from local vendors, including our server who makes soap with her goat's milk.

I hadn't visited since the week before everything shut down for COVID, and I'm happy to say it's just as great as I remembered. The vibe is cozy and understated, which is a big part of the charm. It doesn't feel overly commercialized or like they're rushing people in and out; there's a real sense of care behind the experience. The wines are excellent, and the pricing feels very fair, especially since nothing about the experience feels over the top or pretentious. We came on a last-minute trip and weren't able to get a reservation online, but they were kind enough to accommodate us as walk-ins. We spent about an hour there, enjoyed the tasting, and ended up buying a few bottles. We'll definitely be back soon, and I'd love to join the wine club once we start drinking more wine. Highly recommend, just really good quality all around.

She took great care of us, and Bryce was so helpful (and so patient and gracious!) in planning the hilltop experience for our son and his now fiancé. He fielded a lot of phone calls and answered a lot of questions. We are so appreciative of his great service and kindness. Thank you, Adelaida, for a wonderful day of memories for our families!

And being totally inside with no views of anything was kind of a drag. But still 5 Stars due to the wines and the atmosphere of the inside. Deena was great and sat down and explained every wine in great detail. She even let me try the Reserve Cab which was excellent. One of the whites wasn't good at all and I had to ask for a new glass so I wouldn't taint the next sample. But you're probably not going to like them all. That's the fun part! I enjoyed learning about the Austin Hope winery and its origins. I felt like they grew in popularity quickly and threw up some barns to accommodate the crowds. For example, the bathroom wasn't well constructed as when people slammed the door shut, the walls shook. I can't imagine how the walls would shake if someone had a blowout here. Even with some of the downfalls, this was my favorite winery and I wish I could get some of the wines without joining the club. The commitment is too much and shipping is also high, so it's not worth it. The GSM was my favorite and if I ever see it somewhere, Ima get me some!

We are the type of members who always take great care of the staff and rarely leave without purchasing extra bottles, yet today we were treated like an inconvenience. Despite being told in the past that spontaneous visits were no problem for members, we were turned away on a gloomy Monday with plenty of open tables. The host at the entrance was incredibly dismissive and wouldn't even let us finish our sentence before cutting us off. We were told our only options were to come back in an hour, a "limited" tasting, drive all the way downtown, or just pick up our shipment and leave. We asked for the Wine Club Manager to resolve the situation, but she wasn't on-site. To be offered a "partial" tasting as a favor after nearly ten years of support was the final straw. It feels as though they now prioritize "closing" new members over honoring the people who have supported them for years. They've gone mainstream and lost the personal touch that made them special.
