Which, I'd been nervous about after I mistakenly went to a 'holistic' dentist for that, which cost so much, and took very long to redo. I had to go to a perio specialist, then to put my zirconia implant crown on, Dr Edwards did a whole procedure to do that perfectly. And I'm very grateful to him that I can now chew normally and not worry about it anymore. Being born without an adult tooth is no picnic, but luckily there are pros like Dr E to help us out with these things in life.

Frankie took my full mouth of x-rays and was gentle with my child-sized mouth and jaw. The dental hygienist knew her stuff and cleaned my teeth with purpose but also had time for us to converse as best as you can during a cleaning. The administration team got me checked out and on my way with ease. The only thing missing was no appearance by Hazlenut, the therapy dog, but perhaps in October for my follow up I'll be fortunate enough for her cameo. I haven't had dental insurance for a decade or longer so I have the freedom to select where I'm going, and I'm so grateful for Smiles on Belmont. I only wish I'd started going sooner!

The worst I've ever had. I've had very similar extractions from other dentist that went way better than their dentist smushing my face to remove a tooth. I am giving one star because of them charging my card UNAUTHORIZED. I was told an amount to pay and that my insurance covered the rest. They told me my insurance was being difficult and that they would take care of it. They have been blowing up my phone since because I guess they were wrong in what my insurance can or can't cover. When you tell a patient that their insurance covers a particular amount or not, they base their decision on what they can afford or choose to do. TO CHARGE MY CARD WITHOUT MY PERMISSION IS ILLEGAL. How do you even have my card number?? I swiped my card on a reader. I will be visiting, believe that. This is not professional. I would not recommend the front staff or this dentist. I would highly recommend the dental assist.

He's also been flexible with my needs, including using different anesthesia and non-fluoride products. Deanna has also been incredible and I'm so grateful that I got to request having her for all my appointments when possible. She makes me feel so comfortable and heard. I love that the staff and Dr. Booth also prepare me for what they will be doing and explain as they go - and if you're someone who doesn't want that, you can tell them and they won't do it :) The front desk has been great about scheduling and working with my schedule, and I love that they also text.

They want you to blindly sign a screen to something that they have on their separate screen that you can't see, but even if you see it or they print it they could steal your signature or you could actually be signing something you have no intention to sign. You spend your whole life being told to be cautious of this and yet now this wack process is becoming more and more frequent. And not only do they not read the document, they just sum it all up. What's the point of even having a signature at this point?

From the moment I first contacted the office and talked to the highly knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly office manager, Lynn, on through the pain-free repair of an old crown followed by the installation of a brand new one (a front tooth that had to be carefully color-matched, and it was), I have been grateful to the fates that sent me to their pleasant waiting room. The dentist, as well as his staff, are all friendly while highly skilled; they can even deal with my sensitive teeth. The confidence I feel in Dr. Kim and his staff is mighty comforting. For about a month he experienced horrible pain, so he went back and Sims said he still had fragments of the old filling and offered to fix it for free (as he should). During the second attempt not only did Sims split his lip to the point of bleeding while he was numb, but he buffed away the dentin just below the gum line, which caused severe pain. When my partner went back to see him since he was in such pain Sims threw his arms in the air and said, "what do you want me to do about it?" After seeing a new dentist, they suggested MI paste which helped immensely. Why Sims did not think to suggest this or show any amount of care, I can't say. Fast forward to today, my partner's tooth broke during breakfast. I don't know if these two incidents are related, but it makes me wonder. Regardless, Hamilton Sims did a poor job buffing away dentin, and when asked for help he didn't apologize or show any sign of compassion or care. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!!
