I'd give a solid 2.5 stars…read more I went to AutoNation in Westlake because I had a sedan and wanted to upsize to a full-size pickup truck. After a couple weeks of looking, I found one that fit my budget, needs, and powertrain preference. I went in on a Saturday and talked to a wonderful member of the sales team, Denise. My experience here was a mix of equally negative and positive things. Denise was extremely helpful and helped me explore the options between buying new and used and I genuinely didn't feel like she pressured me into anything. I ended up deciding on a used F-150 which I later found out was previously a fleet vehicle. This did not bother me much since I have bought fleet vehicles before and never had issues with them (knocking on wood!). This truck had a cracked side view mirror housing, the rear two tires were bald, and the GPS and infotainment screen had connectivity issues. I owed just about exactly what KBB trade value was on my car, yet they initially offered me about $5,000 under for trade-in. After going back and forth we settled on full KBB value minus the cost to repair the windshield as it had a crack. Here's the crappy part-- during negotiation I politely declined every single add-on that they try to get you with. I didn't want paint protection, didn't want theft protection... typical run of the mill stealership bogus. When I got further into signing paperwork, I got tacked a $700 "paint protection" package that they said they put on all their vehicles dating back 3 model years or newer. I politely declined once again but I was told this had to be part of the deal as it was already applied to the vehicle. I asked if it was some kind of ceramic coating, to which the sales manager replied "we legally can't call it that." I stated once again that I didn't want it, and he said that it was actually part of the price of the car but that they couldn't list it as the price that you pay on their website. I responded with "that sounds like b*llshit to steal money from people." The manager instantly shifted his attitude from positive to flat. I was too far in to signing the financing paperwork to be bothered with this issue--which is exactly what they want from people. I scheduled an appointment later in the week to get everything taken care of that they promised they'd replace. They replaced the two rear tires, as well as the side view mirror. The GPS/infotainment was a different story. They told me I had to call Ford to fix some kind of "fleet block" that the truck had on it. While the truck was in service, I called the proper FordPass hotline and jumped through a couple hoops and then finally spoke to a TAC technician. They said this was the dealer's job and there was nothing they could do remotely but assist the service tech through the process. To make a long story short, service later found out that the telematics control unit needed to be replaced and reprogrammed, and refused to do it asking me for $1100 out of pocket. I now have a 2024 truck with a broken GPS, no FordPass connectivity, no Wi-Fi capability, and a clock that isn't in sync. This is something they promised me they'd fix, but since it wasn't written on a we-owe they're sending me on their way and not doing anything about it. Am I happy? Absolutely not. I spent a good chunk of change on a truck that was advertised one way and ended with an impaired part of the ownership experience--one that is arguably the part that you interact with the most on a car. Would I come back to this dealership? HECK no. I wouldn't even be coming back for their service department. Did I mention they kept the truck from Thursday all the way until the next week on Tuesday, without giving me any kind of updates or a loaner vehicle? The only updates I ever got happened when I called and harassed them. Overall I'd say it was a typical dealership experience, with an extra $1,100 I have to spend if I want my infotainment to work correctly because they lied about their willingness to fix something to make a quick sale, and blatantly gaslit me saying "we said we'd take a look at it, not fix it."

I brought the car in for an oil change last winter and there was a nail in the tire. They claimed it was unfixable and told me I had to replace both rear tires, quoted at $1600. I went to discount tire and they patched it for free. 3. Had rodent wiring damage. They soldered two wires and taped it up, billed $350, then tried to add $30 in shop fees which I refused. Got home and the rodent nest was still sitting there untouched.

The vehicle we purchased was 10 years old with low miles, but must have been stored in a damp area. Things started going bad. Immediately. In our opinion, the dealer knew that it hadn't been cared for and that many little things were going to show up. Three years and about $3500 later, on problems that we are certain that the dealership was aware of, we still have the vehicle, and NOW it is in great working condition. No matter what issue comes up, that SHOULD be covered under warranty, they refuse and wiggle out of honoring it. Of the 3 issues I've taken them, they refused to do the work unless I would pay for it out of pocket. Yet, the car is STILL under factory warranty. On a few occasions, I took the vehicle in for service issues and was told that nothing was wrong. I, the customer, had to show them otherwise. Either the service technicians are lazy, or the service manager is training these people to be unethical and con artists. If you want the BEST service for your BMW, this is NOT the place to take it. What's interesting-is a good Google search will show that they HAVE covered my same issues under warranty for other people, so their actions might fall under discrimination and/or fraud.

It was a Friday night and they were closing for the weekend, we would have had to cancel our vacation. We decided to trade so we could get on our way but the only car available on the whole lot was a Corolla Cross. Recently we received an invitation to a sales event that was going to blow us away at Victory Toyota, we even had to make an appointment for this event. We walked into Toyota and saw very limited inventory. We looked at two cars and I counted five salesmen standing around in various parts of the showroom. Not one person asked to help. I finally walked up to a young gentleman and asked if there were any Highlanders. He said there were THREE outside ( huge sales event?) and proceeded to walk us out with no keys. Should we just look through the window? Upon going back to get the keys I wanted to test drive the Platnimum. I joked to him that I had planned to retire next year but if we buy a car that is going to change. I told him that I pick out the car and my husband does the numbers deal. He mentioned that when we got back to the showroom he'd see if retirement was still possible after crunching numbers. They did a quick appraisal of our Cross and then crunched NO NUMBERS...the price you see is the price you pay, minus the trade. We bought our last Toyota at zero down , zero finance. This dealership wanted 4.9 %. That is around $10,000 in intrest for the Highlander. . Land Rover is advertising 0.9% for select models. . We will definitely be looking around. . I messaged a few Cleveland area Honda dealers through the Honda website in late February 2026…read more I was looking for a specific trim car. I wanted a 2026 Honda Civic Hybrid Hatchback Sport Touring model in Boost Blue color with BLACK leather interior. I requested to be communicated with ONLY by email and NOT phone. All of the other dealers began hassling me almost daily by phone and didn't seem interested in finding me the specific trim and color combination. They only were concerned with selling what was currently on their lot. Ganley Honda North Olmsted was the ONLY one that followed my request and communicated via email. I NEVER was hassled by phone, text, or voicemail. They even said there would not be a problem finding the exact spec car I wanted, since they did not have one available. Salesman Emmanuel (Manny) Verdino scheduled a test drive for 2/25/26 in a similar trim level Civic. Once I decided it was the car for me, I put down a $500 deposit to start the dealer locate process. Manny kept email contact throughout the entire process. Since that exact spec Civic is not widely available, most Ohio dealers were not willing to do a dealer trade for such a high demand car. After a thorough search, they were finally able to locate one in Lockport NY (225 miles away!!) a few days later. The car arrived at Ganley on 3/4/26 and I was scheduled to sign and drive for my car on 3/6/26. Manny even willingly came in on his scheduled day off to have me sign the paperwork. That was a huge convenience for me. The sign & drive process went off without a hitch. There was absolutely NO high pressure upsells and the price details I was quoted on 2/25/26 was honored with absolutely no changes. Matt Maier in the finance department made the overall process even easier. He also secured me a lower APR with Honda Financial and a massive discount on the extended warranty. I would HIGHLY recommend going to Ganley Honda of North Olmsted, and specifically Manny Verdino, for all of your Honda needs.
