Gyro meat was disgusting. Precut, frozen doner kebab mystery meat from restaurant depot. All uniformly cut, and extremely greasy which is a telltale sign that it's precut. Also, I paid extra for tzatziki and they sent 2 tiny containers that already came with our entrees. All of the buy one get one deals on DoorDash should've been a red flag. ordered for the 1st time on Uber eats and never again. $65 later (yes granted a good $10 of that was a tip) and ordered chicken skewer, pastitsio, and 2 desserts. The "skewers" came with a bunch of random pieces of chicken thrown on top of an overly toasted hard as a rock pita (no skewers either), the pastistio (made with lasagna noodles and assuming different depending on the region) looked like it was just thrown in the container and had disassembled; pools of grease all along the bottom of the container and the ground beef was so over seasoned and heavy it was 3 bites in that I had to stop eating it. At least I know the desserts are bought premade frozen from restaurant depot so the only concern would be freezer burn if they defrosted in transit and refrozen... glad I had leftovers from last night because this food was not edible in the slightest read more

They sent me raw pink chicken do not order from this establishment, also put hot chicken, sealed on-top of a bed of lettuce so no surprise the lettuce was wilted and disgusting by the time it arrived. They also sent the wrong dressing with the order, we don't like tzaiki sauce so we ordered vinaigrette and the only to show up was the tzaiki so there is nothing to dress the salads with. 0 stars do not give any money to this business read more

I'd rather leave no stars. Food delivered without the 2 extra pitas I paid for and both greek salads came with no dressing on either salad or on the side on a friday night..... I got food delivered so I didnt have to go out. This is the Island Lake diner not a Greek restaurant. No pitas no dressing, will never repeat and will tell everyone I know this diner is a crappy diner and a FAKE GREEK RESTAURANT. The meal we ordered was TERRIBLE. Would never order from them again. The moussaka was tough and not edible. The gyro platter had chicken in it that disintegrated the moment you put your fork in it, it was inedible, literally threw the entire meal in the garbage. The spinach pie was overcooked, very salty and tough to cut. Overall a terrible dinner. We had to order from another trusted venue because nothing from this restaurant was edible!! Very disappointed. The Greek salad did not come with Greek salad dressing on the salad and they gave a creamy dressing on the side that was also not Greek. I thought this was terrible and defeated the whole purpose of a Greek salad. The gyro chicken was super think and didn't even taste like chicken- I couldn't even eat it. I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered from Nick the Greeks. Everything in them was true and then some. I ordered a pork yeero platter which was described as whole muscle meat marinated and then grilled. I received strips of ground lamb and beef commercially made all uniform in shape, the exact same ones that you would get at any food court from any pseudo-Greek stand. The Greek salad came with a mayonnaise flavored nasty thick dressing. The lemon potatoes were undercooked greasy and not at all lemony. The pita breadThat was supposed to accompany the meal was missing. Nothing about the order was correct. Besides sending me all the improper food they also disrespected me by assuming that I could not even tell the difference between pork and lamb, between whole muscle meat and ground, between homemade and commercially prepared frozen food.
