Okay.. I understand it's early, they just opened a little while ago but I just ordered a salad and clearly said what HOTEL I was at.. And because I called from my number, they still asked if I want it sent to my house..? Wtf.. NO cause I'm hungry, I'm not home for a reason, I'm at a hotel! I wanted the food delivered to ME! Was a huge fan at first because the food was good but the customer service sucks! They have young kids that work for them that don't care and have no customer service skills. Their prices are inconsistent and it was the last straw when they tried to charge me $25 for a pizza! This place has heavenly food. The people taking orders seem a little confused most of the time but the ladies who have been there awhile know good customer service and are sweet as pie. My family and I have an obsession/addiction with their seafood risotto. However, I usually try to make it over to Nick's on Wednesdays when their pasta dishes are half off. $9 and change for creamy risotto with spinach and mushrooms with lobster, scallops and shrimp!? There's is just no way modest little Nicks deserves anything less than 5 stars. What an amazing surprise.......only way I found it was by hotel front desk delivery menu...at two different hotel places on a business trip...just took a chance....and WOW....just superlative in every way. Simple pizza with sausage is just outstanding....one of best ever..perfect balance of sweet and complex sauce, cheese and to die for sausage........Gyro was sublimely good.....just wonderful.....stellar! But best of all was the roast beef sub.....with perfectly tangy barbecue sauce, and succulently rare roast beef.....in a town known for the best RB sanwhiches in the country.....or anywhere for that matter....this is the gold standard......add in the super nice delivery guys and....well.....doesn't get much better....cannot think of two better meals I've had all year!!!! Nick has good food with decent prices. I'd highly recommend the shrimp scampi pizza or any of the salad options. My only complaint is that the delivery drivers often won't come to your door, and will call to have you meet them outside. I live in a complex with plenty of parking, not in a place they have to worry about getting a ticket or being towed. read more

Staying at hotel close to airport found Nicks that would deliver to hotel. For 20 bucks including tip and delivery fee was a huge for me! Shrimp dinner with rice pilaf, huge Greek side salad (included) and a hole pita ! Great dinner for the price! Would highly recommend! read more

I have order their Shrimp Scampi Pizza with tomatoes at least 6 times and can't have it enough. I have never been to the restaurant since I have been using grubhub.com but the food is consistent and great. I would definitely recommend this pizza and restaurant. There are plenty of shrimps on the pizza and you get it in every bite. Worth the price. read more

This place is right down the street from where I live. Their food is incredibly good, especially the roast beef and pizza.

My son turned us on to this place last summer...The first couple of times we ate here it was excellent! We both ordered the fried seafood plate & it was so much food & really good. The next time we ordered 1 plate & couple of things for our sides & split the plate , plenty of food for both of us. I also have tried the lobster mac & cheese & it was great. The last couple of times we have gone here has really been disappointing. Maybe because it was takeout & we didn't eat there. Last night I do believe was the last time we will go there. We ordered the fried seafood plate & a side of Italian wedding soup. The plate was so small that we really couldn't "split" the meal so had to decide that I would get the 1 very chewy piece of lobster & Hubby got to have the 3 small shrimps. the fish was very thin & dry the only good thing on the plate was the handful of scollops that were quite decent. As I said we used to be able to split the plate & it was plenty for both of us & was good. The fact that I am still paying 21.95 for pathetic barely edible plate of food is not acceptable to me. Also the time before last night I got the Lobster mac & cheese it had so much grease in it & barely any lobster certainly not the same dish I had twice before & it was really good. read more

The food is decent but the customer service is not always great. A very busy shop; however when I call to place an order I always feel rushed and like I am bothering them! The food has been great and horrible - lacking constancy even with something as simple as size of a salad. We have been to Nick's Bistro on numerous occasions and I can literally say that we have never had a problem with the food. Last night was no exception. We order two steak tip salads that were delicious and the steak tips were cook to perfection. The problem lies in the cleanliness of the restaurant. We arrived on this late Saturday afternoon with the establishment about a quarter full. Our first hint that the restaurant was not up to its usual cleanliness is when we entered the restaurant and the floor was as slick as ice with what felt like a coating of grease on its surface. This was not only the case in one isolated spot but a problem through out the restaurant. As we were entering, an escorted group of special needs adults were exiting the restaurant. Apparently we sat at a booth adjacent to where these individuals had eaten and understandably the floor in the area was strewn with food, crumbs, and napkins. We had to hear a young female employee complain to her co-worker in a profanity laced tirade her dissatisfaction with cleaning up the mess that was left behind by these individuals. Also at a table toward the front of the restaurant was a group of young adult males that were loud and boisterous and used frequent profanity. They appeared to know some staff as evidenced by their interactions with certain employees. At no time were they told to quiet down. This made for an uncomfortable dining experience for us and I can imagine for the several elderly patrons and young children that were dining at the time. Often when we dine at Nick's Bisto I see the owner/manager interacting with employees and customers alike and never have I seen the restaurant in the condition it was in last night or the unprofessional behavior that certain staff members demonstrated. I did not see the owner/manager there and I think this was a case of "while the cat's away the mice will play". As an aside the rest rooms were also filthy. We are not giving up on Nick's. Like previously mention the food is always great, and the menu, service, and value is outstanding. I just think we caught the place on a bad night and maybe it has to be better managed when the "big guy" is not around. read more

Iv been a customer for years & always loved the variety, but my past 3 orders have been incredibly bad & Iv decided Iv given too many chances. 1st time I ordered an Italian sub & they only put ham and cheese which makes no sense & still charged me for it AND half for the new one. 2nd time I ordered a pizza & nuggets & both were cold. nuggets were oily & pizza was really bad compared to past orders. Last night I ordered two steak tip salads & fries. I understand there are other orders but on a Thursday night how long does it really take to put lettuce in a container ? my order took 1 hour & 15 minutes! like that's incredibly ridiculous! not for nothing but my steak was RED. not pink, BRIGHT RED WITH BLOOD. I had to recook my steak and reheat my cold fries. My salad was ridiculously soggy too. I used to LOVE Nick's but this is disappointing read more

What more do you want in a neighborhood restaurant. And if you don't see what you want or how you would like something prepared on the menu, they will do their best to accomodate. This is the most clean, most delicious local sub shop. I always come here when im in the mood for a yummy grilled chicken salad with feta cheese and banana peppers. The grilled chicken is well cooked and season and served nice and hot, you can see the container steaming. You can make that a Honey BBQ grilled chicken or lemon its good no matter, even lamb tip salad is amazing. The portions are enormous and it comes with a side of pita. Of course this is not a healthy option but its fast food heaven. The staff is very helpful and friendly also which makes it that much better. read more

I got a lot of good feedback about this place from co-workers so myself and a co-worker went yesterday for lunch. My buddy is as real Greek as you can get and I myself am a true Italian. Right away we got a bad vibe entering the place the wen behind the counter was rude interrupting me when I was ordering. I got a wrap and a lamb tip sub. She asked me what I wanted on the sub and I told her whatever u put on it is fine. I also got a spinach pie homemade it said. My buddy wanted a gyro. He asked the women what was the meat in the gyro. And she asked what was he talking about. He said the gyro what's in it. She looked confused. Finally she understood and said pork. He asked was it frozen or fresh because we did not see the meat and she said froZen. When we got back to eat my lamb tip sub had nothing in it just meat I guess they don't put anything unless u ask. The spinach pie was made with puff pastry instead of phyllo really nice try. My buddy did not fair well his food was falling out of his Syrian bread and was tasteless. The place was packed into eyes with people who just don't know any better. This place had menu was so big all over the place I saw lots of microwaves a lot of fAke frozen food. I paid 30$ for a salad wrap 2 slices and 2 drinks ok whatever I thought as long as its good. I ordered a pick up so instead of taking the drive through I thought I would go in instead since I've never been here before. I literally stood there for 5 minutes at the counter at least waiting for a may I help you but I never got one. I stood there as 3 women looked at me and ignored me. One walked away and proceeded to talk to a cook. Two stayed in the front just making small talk among each other. Extremely uncomfortable for me and unprofessional on their part. The cook had a question about my order and that's when the women (still ignoring me) calls my phone. I literally just tell her it's me your calling and there like oh and laugh like ok? the pizza was good but the wrap sucked all chicken plain dressing. This experience overall made me make sure to stay far far away from this place. I was a paying customer and felt as if I was a burden to them. The nicest thing was probably the man who offered me a bag for my drinks. Really I appreciated it after the lack of respect I got from other employees. read more

If youre getting good service inside, we should be getting good service outside at home not CRAP! First of all the people answering the phone play & talk in the background too much that they can't hear you & you have to repeat your whole order 5 times just for it to sink in & get it right & after all that, it's still not right! So now you have to sit there & wait for a correction which is when they feel like it apparently or when the next delivery goes out & you would think you're first priority even then but you're not. They deliver all theyre other customers food first! Now you have hungry kids waiting or watching your family eat their food & thats bull crap as far as i'm concerned! second of all alot of they're food has no taste like the Mac & cheese for example & for what they charge for they're food is absolutely not worth it & they should be ashamed! I'm tired of complaining to the owner because he obviously doesn't care about his customers so I will not be giving them my business anymore Nor do I recommend these weasels, that's the nicest way of saying what these ppl are..... The place has good food it was ok, especially the chicken kabob salad I love it from there but then we ordered for the first time which we placed a delivery order and the delivery came in like 1 hr and 30 min and we called like 3 times and they would always say that it will be there soon. And the food we ordered was cold and soggy and hard. And for a restaurant like that, of course, that is bad, and not just that. and then the second time which was yesterday I went to do a pick-up and I left my phone there on the counter, and I am sure that I left it there and I called today and they said it was not there, and I even looked in find my iPhone and it said it was there, and I'm pretty sure they probably took the phone and didn't say anything. The food is good in my perspective, but the delivery and that they lied that they didn't at least look or see the phone is bad, like what kind of help is that. so please if anybody goes and does a pick-up don't take your phone out to check the time or anything and if you do make sure you put it back and don't leave it there because I'm pretty sure they will say they didn't see anything. but other than that I think the food is good and the variety of food they have is good. read more

When Nick's first opened it was soooo good! Now, its disgusting and the people that answer the phones sound like they are 12 years old and do not know the menu at all! I asked a simple question and the person on the phone said hold on and I heard her asking other employees the question I asked her! All I asked was what side items were included on a Roast Beef Plates! Gee that was a tough question! So I sat on hold listening to a few young sounding employees joke around in the backround. My Roast Beef was so over cooked and tough I threw it out. It tasted like it was two weeks old then heated up in a microwave. The only good thing about the place is the guy that owns it, I think his name is Wally. He's a super duper nice guy and ALWAYS gives SUPERB service. He used to own or run the Kentucky Fried Chicken that was there prior to Nick's. Wally why did you get rid of KFC!!! Everyone I know in Revere went there regularly, and I know a ton of people! I used to work at KFC in Everett when I was in High School a long long time ago and we used to come get stock from you from time to time and you always were super helpful. I don't think I know anyone who doesnt like KFC. So why ruin a good thing? I know the kind of money I used to pull out of the register at KFC and that was a long long time ago so I can imagine what Tim pulls out now. But this place?You gotta be making way way way less money! I guess franchise fees can be worth it sometimes! Take it from a former franchise owner (no I didnt own a KFC). There is not one thing I have ordered on the menu or that my son, my husband or any of my friends have ordered recently that has been "GOOD" that any of us would order again. We have had a few "ok" things. The Roast Beef definatelt was not even close to the "ok" level- it was more of "the Alpo gone past its expiration" level. Some one needs to wake up at this place and get "FRESH" Food and hire someone to do quality control. Do it the KFC way. Small batches of food. Less waste. So if the patrons have to wait a few extra minutes for fresh or better quality food I think they rather wait then get pre made or sitting around all day or reheated food. Sorry! I feel bad saying this but my hopes in being blatently honest, they will wake up and turn things around and put out a good quality product that people will come back for time and time again. Not alot of good places to eat in Revere. A lot of people in Revere want a good place to grab a casual quick bite that has quality food and is consistant.
