Mooney's Pizza is fantastic! I really enjoyed the vibe of this place--it has a clean, welcoming atmosphere with a great blend of old-school charm and modern diner style. There may be a wait, but it's definitely worth it. Our server, Manny, was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. We tried the double pepperoni pizza with added ricotta foam, the squash blossom pizza with goat cheese (a special), the table rolls, Brussels sprouts, and frozen custard for dessert. Pizzas: Both pizzas were outstanding--fresh, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients. The tomato sauce was rich and delicious, and the crust was a standout: crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and incredibly tasty. Appetizers: The table rolls were warm and fluffy with a nice crust. The butter served alongside them was incredibly creamy and paired perfectly with the bread. The only item I wasn't crazy about was the Brussels sprouts. They were a bit overcooked and dry, which was disappointing compared to how much we enjoyed everything else. Frozen Custard: My friend recommended adding the olive oil drizzle and sea salt topping. It sounds a little unusual, right? But it paired surprisingly well with the chocolate-vanilla swirl custard and added a delicious sweet-and-savory balance. I can't wait to have it again! Overall, I highly recommend Mooney's. I have a policy to never read a movie review until I've seen the movie, and this policy apparently needs to apply to restaurants as well, because I think I expected far too much based on reviews of Mooney's. I'm not sure exactly how to write this review, because I don't want to cast aspersions upon them based on reality vs what I imagined, because that's not fair. I guess I'll start with: It IS indeed expensive. I have a strong stomach for higher priced fare when I dine out, but paying $38 for a 14" inch pizza was WILD. (My fault - I didn't realize that adding veggies would be $2 per - I mean, the menu was clear on that, but I guess I didn't clock it.) And personally, I didn't feel like the vibe in an old Hof's Hut on the edge of a strip mall was worth a $92 pre-tip bill. (One pizza, three beers, a sandwich.) My kids were like, "hey, it's cheaper than [our usual]," and because they recommended Mooney's, I didn't have the heart to tell them that [our usual] is more affordable on the balance, considering it runs about the same for three full meals before we even get to cocktails. Oh, one more thing - it is DEFINITELY loud inside, as others have reported, even on a Tuesday early evening. Probably not a big deal for most, but my son is deaf in one ear, so indoor volumes can be painful - hence, us opting for the patio. That said: The service was fantastic - from the hosts to our server: top notch. I liked the picnic seating outside; although it wasn't great for us with a baby in a highchair, it's definitely super-conducive to larger groups being seated comfortably, which is something I can see being useful under different conditions in my future. I loved how vibrant and community-friendly the joint was. If they're trying to be a third place in that neighborhood, I think they're getting it done. When people say the pan pizza is to die for... I mean, I can't say I'd die for it, but I did gobble up the leftovers for breakfast and didn't feel at all bad about it. It was probably even better this morning than it was last night - the mark of a great pizza. The dough was about as close to perfect as it can get. I'm sure I'll be back, but with tempered expectations, and will likely opt NOT to add toppings to whatever pizza I order. Bottom line: I recommend it, but don't go here on a budget. read more

We went to Mooney's Pizza this past Saturday night around 5:30 PM to celebrate both my husband's and my birthdays. Unfortunately, the experience was pretty disappointing from the moment we walked in. We had a reservation and checked in around 5:20 PM. They were busy, which I understand, but we watched multiple parties who were walk-ins or arrived after us get seated before we did. Around 5:40, I went back to the hostess stand to ask what was going on. They told me they had already seated us. Obviously not, since I was literally standing there asking when we were going to be seated. Apparently, they seated another party that came in after us and marked our reservation as seated. That was frustrating and honestly pretty ridiculous. That wasn't a great start to the experience. Once we finally got seated, our server, who I believe was Nene, was nice but extremely inattentive. We ordered the meatballs, and they came out with two plates, but no utensils. We had to wait and flag someone down just to get forks. By the time we actually got to eat them, the meatballs were lukewarm. We also ordered a Diet Coke. It took a long time to come out, and we eventually had to remind our server that we ordered it. That was pretty much the only time anyone checked on our drinks, because we never got a refill. After we finished eating, we again had to wait around 10-15 minutes just to flag down our server so we could pay and get a box for our leftover pizza. At that point, we were ready to leave. The one thing that saved this experience was the pizza and the ambiance of a pizza tavern. We ordered the double pepperoni and the eggplant parm pizza, and both were really good. The eggplant parm pizza especially surprised me! It was delicious and something I would definitely order again. And if you love ranch, get the large. It's absolutely worth it. So, the pizza gets a thumbs up, but the service and overall experience were not good. Maybe we caught them on a really bad night, but considering this was a birthday dinner for both of us, it was disappointing. I'm willing to give Mooney's another chance because the pizza really was good, but I'll most likely stick to takeout next time. We've been anticipating Mooney's pizza for a while, so we were happy to see it's open for business. We came here for dinner on a Thursday night. We made reservations for 7pm but arrived early to see if we could be seated earlier and we had no problems. We ordered a large Supreme pizza to share. It came out piping hot and freshly made. The pizza itself is good, crispy dough, fresh toppings. They were generous with their toppings and cheese. We also got BB Banana custard frozen dessert. My first time ever and it was delicious! Very creamy and velvety like a smooth soft serve ice cream. Service was excellent, our server is sweet and tentative. They seem to be high school students working here which is nice. There were a lot of staff members so service was impeccable. Ambiance is nice, I like the nostalgic pizza joint vibe. Lots of booths and tables to enjoy your food. Came here last week with my son, daughter in law and grandson and had a very very dinner. We started with a nicely prepared Caesar Salad and the Bread with Calabrian Chile Honey Butter. I would definitely order both those items again. We also had an order of their wings with Gochujang BBQ sauce which was another winner. We ended up order two pizzas with one being the Ragu that was just ok, and the other being the Fried Eggplant that was very good. To you it off we all tried the Pistachio Custard that was a nice end to the meal. The place does get busy so you may want to make a reservation. They do have a big parking lot but parking can still get tight. As for the staff they are all very friendly and welcoming. This review is a little late because I went during their opening in March, oops! Mooney's is good. It's a pizza joint trying to be an elevated neighborhood spot. The decor is classy yet casual. There's a cute photobooth and play area for the kids. As for food, I was super excited to try their Al Pastor pizza, a Mexican-American take on a pineapple pizza. Unfortunately, by the time I sat for dinner, they were out of most of their menu, including the al pastor. I am NOT docking them for points for running out of things on opening weekend. It's so hectic I'm sure, and it's a lot to have to figure out. They were able to make the pizza with pork belly instead of al pastor though. It was pretty good, but honestly forgettable. I also think that their menu is pretty expensive for their portions and offerings. I know they were running low on items, but the toppings were definitely skimpy. Sacrilicious! "Sacred and delicious" :) Came on Sunday evening . Made reservations of course. Parking was plenty on the lot. When we walked in, the joint was packed. I walked up to hostess and check in. 5 mins later we were seated. I did quick look around, good vibes all around, family time and one on one. Our waitress came, she was friendly, went over a couple things we asked. We decided to go with meatballs for appetizers, salad, double pepperoni with added mushrooms, and I got beer of course haha. Meatballs and salads came out within minutes. Meatballs was great, not too hot. I took one bite of the salad and it was fresh. Beer was cold and tasty. Pizza came in no time, hot like a pie. When I fold the pizza in half it made that sweet crunchy sound that only real pizza lovers know. The taste was delicious, good blend of pepperoni, mushroom and cheese. My least favorite was the Ragu - salt was its predominant flavor and overall wasn't balanced. The Sausage & Chard had a touch of sweetness and somehow came out a very wet pizza. Service was good. We waited 30 minutes on a Thursday evening for a table, but once seated, food and drinks came flying. The inside reminded me of an old-school diner. It was so busy and loud that we couldn't hear what our table or waiter was saying some of the time. There were also a lot of items sold out - at some point they even ran out of soda, so we couldn't get a refill. This happened on a weekday night, so I can't imagine how quickly they run out on weekends. Now, the price. The price overall is a bit on the expensive end. Dips such as ranch cost extra, and come in a small portion. I can understand them charging dollar prices for sauce if they gave more, but with the amount they give, it should be a flat rate of just $1.00. Overall, I enjoyed my first visit. Finally got a reservation at Mooney's and it did not disappoint! For a Wednesday night it was honestly pretty lively. Our rezi was for their dining room which is a little quieter but great for babies/high chairs. To order we got the house bread, cesar salad, and two pizzas: pineapple specialty and regular cheese. Appetizers were on point! Legit cesar salad with fresh dressing. House bread stole the show. Pizzas, we actually liked the standard cheese better! It wasn't super cheesy but went perfect with ranch. BOMB crust. Pineapple sounds better than it is--the salsa just doesn't feel right. Doesn't help that it came out waaay later than the cheese. Lastly custard is delicious. Notable things. The service was great. Our waitress was really sweet and nice. The main area was just SO LOUD. We ended up sitting outside and they accommodated that which was great. If you want to sit inside though and are sensitive to loud noises I would not suggest it. I've never had to change seating from the shear amount of noise and yelling before. The food was really good. We started with the Caesar salad which was so so good. Creamy and rich without being heavy. The pan pizza is INSANE. the crust is fluffy and thick and chewy. Absolutely recommend. We got the ragu pizza and added burnt pepperoni cups which is a must. They end up such a nice crunchy texture on the rim. And the ricotta is delicious. The other pizza is a pineapple pastor which is really different. It's sweet and tasty but don't get this is you're feeling something more akin to pizza. It's like bbq pizza with a different twist and sauce. Still good. Just different. The custard to me was nothing special and really I could do without. If you get any red sauce time though, you will not be disappointed. We also tried the meatballs and I wanted to lick the plate clean. The red twice was so flavorful and hearty. First time in and came here on a whim on a Friday at 4:30. Happily found some seats at the bar and were greeting by a sleuth of friendly and helpful staff. Since we were going out after and didn't want leftovers, took the advice of our bartender and got a small pizza and an app. Perfect amount. We started with meatballs. Super flavorful but the temp wasn't as hot as you'd expect for fresh out of the oven. Would have loved for them to check with a thermometer before serving, but they were still delicious. Pizza: went with the Fancy Cheese. OMFG! This was incredible and a pizza I will be craving daily. The bottom crust had a perfect crunch when you bite into it and the outer crust, pillowy and a perfect vessel to scoop up a side of their pesto ranch. (Thanks to the staff for that rec too!) The only let down (aside from luke warm meatballs) was my beer glass. For a place that prides itself of beer and being owned by a fellow cicerone (I'm one too), was that the glass was not "beer clean". No, there should not be bubbles on the glass because that's actually microscopic dirt that the beer is clinging to. The space is so welcoming and has a great flow to it. The parking is abundant. I was craving pizza & my friend @cheftiffanythomas suggested Mooney's Pizza. Before hand she let me know this place is packed and she booked reservations. We shared a combo between 3 people total, a Cesar salad, & meatballs. Everything was savory and filling. The ambiance of this place is rather unique as well. If you crossed an episode from the hit series Cheers with a 1980's Pizza Hut; you would get Mooney's Pizza. It's rather nostalgic for the millennial crowd. With reservations we did wait about 10 to 15 mins. Keep that in mind if you're going without. We noticed right away it was crowded, and people come here in large groups as well. We were vicariously enjoying the view of the pipping hot pizzas walking out from the steamy kitchen. Everything looked so good we were already making plans on what to order for our second time around. The lighting in this establishment is very much relaxed and pleasing. Right away I noticed that the lamps were similar to those from the 1980's Pizza Hut restaurants with the stained glass. The Supreme Pan Pizza we ordered was packed with plenty of vegetables, the edges are nice and crispy as well. Though we loved the pizza we would have liked it with a bit more char on top, like the classic. We were also craving a plain sparkling water, such as a San Pellegrino, so far it has t been added to the menu. They have plenty of prebiotic sodas, beer, non-alcoholic beer, etc. The Cesar salad is fresh with plenty of romaine and grated fresh parm; with just a bit more pepper and bread crumbs it would be perfection. I really love this addition to LB! I heard about it from my mom so we came in on a Saturday night. It was busy (rightfully so) but we found seats at the bar. My pizza was amazing. Pepperoni with ricotta whip. 10/10. For me though honestly the highlight was the CUSTARD! 10000/10. This nights custard was like a coconut pina colada with passion fruit (or something similar) I have thought about this custard like many many times. It was thick, creamy and the flavors were wonderful. I'm excited for when I inevitably come back. Restaurant has the most badass custom lamps that remind me of old Pizza Hut vintage lamps. Overall I can tell time and a lot of thought/intention went into this restaurant. I also really love how the owner posts himself to Instagram a lot. I love to see a biz owner who is THAT invested in his business and to see the face of the company in the day to days that require a successful business. Keep doin your thang Mooney's!! Mooney's Pizza is a new pizzeria on the border of East Long Beach, Los Alamitos, Cypress, and Hawaiian Gardens and it offers really good pizza in a space that's evokes the vibes of 90s pizza parlors. The pizzas are top quality as you have a nice buttery, glassy crust with a really nice bite/chew that can only come from a fully developed fermentation. I ordered a 14" pan size of their "fancy cheese" pizza, which came with a rich tomato sauce, fresh basil, and high moisture cheese. In the past five years, a bunch of really great pizzerias have set up in Long Beach; however, what's unique about this place is that you can dine in here with your family at their full-service restaurant. On Sunday night it was quite busy; however, we snagged a same-day reservation on Resy for 8:30pm. For appetizers, I also ordered their house bread and meatballs. The bread was crispy and airy and was served with an addictive calabrian chili honey butter. The meatballs were juicy from their mix of chuck, shortrib, brisket, and pancetta. The important thing is that the food was actually as good as it sounded on paper. Ultimately, that's the reason that I think that this is a great pizza spot! They have great ingredients, they aren't cutting corners with the fermentation of their breads and pizzas, they have a nostalgic space that can easily host your family or soccer team (if you make a reservation), and the quality of the pizza is great. Definitely get a reservation! People who didn't get a reservation asked how long the wait was for a table of 2, table of 4, etc., and it was at least 70-90 minutes. Bar seating is typically full. We waited 25 minutes beyond our reservation time to get seated for our table of 2. We ordered the pineapple al pastor pizza and it came out pretty fast! It was missing something, and we realized it didn't really have any sauce. This one should come with a side of marinara or just have sauce on it in general. Otherwise, it was made well with a thin and tasty crust. Some portions of it had too much crust and not enough toppings, though. We ordered a strawberry and malt chocolate swirl frozen custard and ended up only getting served a full malt chocolate one since the strawberry thing broke. That was disappointing, and our custard was already melting by the time we got it. And nope, it wasn't comp'd. Needed to start with some fried cheese Kurds (so fresh, served with marinara & various ranch flavors) as well as Buffalo Wings spun with a GOOD authentic Buffalo sauce. Then, PIZZAS. Our server suggested pepperoni for kids, a sausage & ??? in a white sauce that was so well balanced by the flavors, both delicate & bold. Then, the specialty pizza of the day, prochetta and peaches with dabbles of ricotta! It's was almost decadent with the creamy sweetness and salt. I love Italian pizza w chewy crust and my fave pizza and pasta restaurant is Spaghettini SB. I passed Mooney's pizza a couple of times from the Y Lakewood on the way home. I bookmarked on Yelp and decided to go today. They open at 4 Mon to Fri except on weekend. Hard to wait for my late lunch or early dinner at 4. I got there 15 mins early and checked the area. This is located on the corner of big strip mall, where are Good Will, dollar tree, and grocery market, and etc. My first impression about the Mooney' was not good. I was waiting until 4:01, still closed. I tapped the door 3 times, then someone opened the door. They were not ready to welcome the customers after 4. When we sat the table, little tiny gnat flies around our table. Bothering me a lot. We got the dark Lager from the bar, the same tiny bug tried to sit in our beers. Very Annoying... I asked the server we want to move other table. Even thou we moved toward left side but that bug bothered us. And also, our table itself was so tiny for our pizza orders. I wanted to test and order at least 3 different pizzas, they barely fitted on our table. Not comfortable at all. Our server forgot to bring the iced water until I paid the bill. I didn't ask him at all. I didn't care. My hubby kept drinking the beers and I took my water from home just in case. Let's talk about the pizza. I went over the reviews on Yelp for 2 days and noticed the flavor and quality of pizzas here looked great. But it was not great taste for me as soon as I bit my first custom cheese, mushroom, pepperoni pizza. Way way too salty....OMG! What the hell? Seemed like they poured the sea salt by accident. And I tasted my curious pizza called pineapple al pastor, it gave me only sour taste due to the sliced onion pickles. For me, I love love sliced onions as pizza topping. But they were sour pickles. I have no idea why they put the onion pickles instead of raw sliced onions. Obviously I was skeptical for double pepperoni pizza. Same marinara sauce w lots of salt and tiny round pepperonis and little bigger flat pepperonis, that was all for this pizza. Why people said it was great? Wow! Wow! I wanted a new pizza place close from home to comfort me after work. Very dissapointed! Who commented the service was good? And the pineapple pizza tastes great???? Very busy pizza tavern in a corner location that attracts a lot of people: couples and families, friends who want to hang out. The menu seems pared down but there are many options for customized pizza. We usually have had to wait a few minutes for seats especially around the 7pm mark when everyone seems to be getting their dinner. Indoor booths, tables and a banquette can accommodate a lot of group sizes, also has outdoor seating. Appetizers all good : squeaks or cheese curds either your choice of sauce, chicken wings (8 to a plate) your choice of buffalo or plain plus dipping sauce- we usually get ranch. Prior to the recent scare about contamination of lettuce, we would share a regular plate of Caesar salad. We chose to have Brussels sprouts instead- a very nicely toasted plate with nuts and balsamic vinegar dressing. We have been here a few times now, service is usually attentive and friendly. Have had the cheese, pepperoni and supreme classic pizzas - all come out piping hot from the oven, lots of toppings are quite delicious. Great food, great service. I ordered the house bread, which was light and crispy on the outside and this soft chewy texture inside. It was so good! The buffalo wings were perfect- well sauced, moist, good amount. The ranch it came with was delicious. We got half pepperoni and half garlic and olives. I can only speak for the pepperoni side. That crust was really crispy and flavorful with a light crisp. It was good. I would have preferred a little more sauce all over each slice. It was more like dollops of sauce around the pie. This place I found on Instagram, and for the first time it didn't let me down! Its a decent sized place on the corner of Wardlow and Los Alamitos, with a weird way of walking into the restaurant. Its very popular, and my wife and I went on a Thursday night with friends. Thankfully we had a reservation so i highly stress you make one or you will be waiting an hour at best. The restaurant is very old school looking. It reminds me of pizza joints in the 80's with those Tiffany lapshades that say Mooney's on each of them. Very cool to be taken back to the good old days. The help there is really great. We had a guy named Kyle looking after us and he filled in all the blanks that we had. My wife and I decided to keep the pizza small and try other items on the menu. One was the Buffalo wings that came in a set of eight and they were bigger than average. The Ranch dressing that came with them was good. The Caesar salad was really good too. Came in a small bowl, but there was enough for my wife and I to have enough of. Lots of cheese and the dressing was very tasteful. The pizza was the complete star of the night. We got a small pepperoni and mushroom and the crust was light but crunchy. The flavors were a beautiful symphony of the sauce, cheese, pepperoni, mushroom combined to a glorious eat. I was quite happy that they had oregano on hand, because having it on any pizza is a massive plus. The beer i wasnt too wild about. Their house lager tasted like a summer blend, which wasnt a bad thing, but it didnt come to comparison of just having a Coor's Light or Pabst Blue Ribbon. Either one of those with a slice of pizza, would have made it all phenomenal. They had plenty of choices of craft beer, but none of them spoke to me. Aside from that, I would highly recommend driving out for this one. Rarely if ever does a restaurant with this much hype around it truly live up. Mooney's took good care of us, brought out some fantastic pizza, and looked good doing it. Seriously one of the best interiors I've seen on a pizzeria in a long time. Fun retro arcade in the front. Crazy good frozen custard. Impressive but not overwhelming selection of beer & wine. I love that they had a little card at the table with the day's special and the beer/wine pairing. The only miss was when one of our frozen custards came out without sprinkles. We tried to find the pizza place near our home and my wife found a new Mooney's just opened 3 months ago. The location is so close next to our city, in the big strip mall. We waited for about 15 mins before 4 opening time. My wife got upset the door was still locked after 4. My wife went over the reviews on Yelp for 2 days and she knew what to order today. I got first 2 dark lagers from the bar, my wife ordered 3 different pizzas. One custom cheese w 2 toppings, mushrooms and pepperonis. Popular pizza called pineapple al pastor, and double pepperoni pizzas. One thing annoying from the beginning around our table was tiny gnat fly. This tiny bug never went away until we paid the bill. Really annoying. My wife hates the tiny flies, or other bugs when she eats the foods. And also, we didn't get any water served by server. I liked cheese pizza w 2 toppings but my wife doesn't like it. She said too salty. She passed the first pizza. Next pineapple al pastor was not bad, sliced onions pickles, cilantro, pork meats, etc....my wife said too sour.... I like a regular sliced onions, not the pickles. She said, it doesn't give the real taste due to the pickles. Well, 3rd one, double pepperoni pizza, I liked it but my wife didn't. Overall, we were so excited to find a new pizza place so close from our home but the taste was not really our styles we were looking for. My wife wanted to try their frozen custard as dessert but she was not happy about the pizzas. Hope the service is better for the future and less salty to make the marinara sauce will be better for the good health side. I have been wanting to try this place, but it's always so packed and it was never a good time, but tonight was the night. The restaurant is large and has a decent size patio. Luckily the parking lot is large as well. We had the Caesar salad, warm olives, a small pepperoni pizza and a pineapple pizza. The salad and pepperoni pizzas were delicious. The pineapple pizza is an interesting combination that didn't really suit my taste buds. We also had custard for dessert. They had cheesecake and pistachio and we had one of each. Both of them were delicious. Still think about them. They also have a good selection of beverages. Only beer and wine. I had two different IPAs, one from a Lomita brewery. It was OK. The one from SLO was excellent. Kai was our server and he was awesome. I will definitely be back. read more

Went in tonight for dinner, busy so we opted to take a seat on the patio to skip the wait for a table inside. Chris was our server and made the whole night fun and enjoyable! Ordered the Chicago Salad, Tomato Pie & Potato (added pancetta-amazing choice) and asked for them to be well done. Really enjoyed the flavor & balance of both the red and white sauces. Enjoyed Mooney's twice. Food is good, not great but overall seems to be made with good quality ingredients. Pizza was good, particularly the dough/crust (squash blossom large $32). There were sesame seeds baked into the crust, creative and very good. Wouldn't order that specific pizza again but would stick to the basic pies. Meatballs were okay, seemed pretty lean with good ingredients, tasted healthy ($15). Brussel sprouts on the other hand seemed to be deep fried and covered in sugar ($13). Double cheeseburger and fries were good but wasn't very filling - similar to a smashburger ($18). Fries here are great. It's a new spot with a cool interior, so expect a lot of people and prices at the higher end of normal. Ranch on the side? - it'll cost you $2, so that kind of place. A lot of young students working here. Tables are very close to one another, so it feels very crowded when busy. If I come back, it'll be when it's slower. read more

I have been wanting to try Mooney's ever since they opened, and I finally got the chance! We started off with some BBQ wings which tasted good, but had to send off 2 times because they were ice cold in the middle. The last batch of wings was crispy, crunchy, with a really good sauce. The double pepperoni pizza was the star of the show. The crust was phenomenal with perfect texture and crunch. Top it with hot honey and it really hit the spot. For dessert I had the chocolate cherry(?) custard, which was really creamy and not too sweet. Service was fantastic as well, as our server was very attentive, friendly, and did not hesitate to get us new food when we had the problems with the wings. While Mooney's has some minor growing pains, I definitely want to come back to try another pizza. read more

What a great pizza place. Great food and great atmosphere. The wait was a bit long but Pete the manager was such a great host! All the staff was very positive and energetic. The focaccia with heavenly Calabrian chili whipped butter had such great flavor and texture. The butter was delicious and not too spicy. The meatballs were good but not really special. The Caesar was very good, but the rock star is the pizza. The double pepperoni was very good, and the crust is sooo good. I'm usually one of the 40% of people who don't eat the crust but this crust is more like the focaccia. And the sea salt olive oil custard was a great finish. read more

We really like the sausage and kale pizza from here. I think everything else is fine. The employees seem to be nice and we haven't had a bad experience so far. It does sort of have a nickel-and-dime vibe sometimes, especially when we're asked if we want ranch with the appetizer and then see a charge for it on the bill. read more

I was excited to see Mooney's Pizza open up in a previously vacant restaurant space, so we decided to check it out about a month or so after they opened. We went on a Tuesday evening and surprisingly, it was crowded on a weekday and they had a wait list. However, one downside, is that they don't take takeout orders or accept online pickup orders. We were not planning to dine in, so that was disappointing (I was hungry). It was late and I did not have another restaurant in mind for dinner. The host suggested we try the bar to see if they could accommodate us, so my boyfriend and I sat there and was helped by Peter. We explained that we weren't planning to stay but wanted to order a pizza and take it to go. Peter said that was fine and accommodated us. He let us know their main focus right now is dine-in service, but they expect to start offering takeout in the next couple of weeks. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and two drinks that Peter recommended, one was their homemade lemonade, and the other was a canned drink (I can't remember the name), but they were really good. As we waited, Peter was great. He was very friendly, sociable, engaging, and had side conversations with us while we waited. Took about 20 or so minutes and our order was ready. We took the pizza home and it was yummy in my tummy. Overall, pizza was good and we look forward to returning. I wanted to see what the local hype was and was able to make same day reservations at 8:00 pm on a Wednesday. Parking was easy since the place is in a shared shopping plaza. As soon as we came in, the place was pretty packed especially in the waiting area. We checked in and weren't seated until 15 mins after our reservation time. The seats still had some shredded cheese on them so we had to use our napkins to brush them off before we sat down. We already decided what to order while waiting to get seated but it still took about 10 mins until our server came and took our order. They did apologize for the wait but we did notice they were chatting it up with other customers. It's great to make conversation with people but not when other customers have been waiting for awhile. It took about 40 mins until our pizzas arrived. We ordered a small supreme pizza and a small pineapple specialty pizza. Both pizzas had a crispy crust which I liked, but the rest of the pizza bottom was just soggy and flimsy. The supreme tasted like any other combo pizza and was underwhelming. The pineapple pizza had pineapple sauce, al pastor, pickled onion, and cilantro lime salsa. It tasted like a carnitas taco but in pizza form and was flavorful and unique. The interior space is well decorated and there's an outdoor patio area with heat lamps. The noise level was quite loud with everyone talking and having a great time. Could barely hear the music they were playing. Seems like a great spot for big groups but probably not for a first date. Glad I tried this place once but not sure I'd return. read more

It's decorated cute with outdoor seating, Tiffany lamps, a team room It can be pretty loud . They have a few tv's for sports on. We walked in 15 min before they stopped taking orders. Right off the bat, super friendly servers and quick to help and give us the deets on the menu. Shout out to Jakob for being the sweetest and most helpful server. Amazing service! We knew what we wanted - brussel sprouts, cheese curds (squeakers) with marinara and a double pepperoni & mushroom pizza with ranch and hot honey on the side. Brussels were solid. Lots of fresh grated parm on them. Squeakers (cheese curds) were crispy and yummy. The star - the marinara!!! Perfect flavor - sweet and savory at the same time. Delicious! Then the pièce de résistance - the pizza. Delicious crust, crispy pepperoni and real earthy mushrooms. What took this pizza to the next level? Their house made ranch and their hot honey to dip it in!
