I don't know how they' can say known for their crispy fries, cause what I got was overcooked limp oily fries, The hamburger was pretty good even though i'm not a big fan of smash burgers and apparently they won't put onion on their burgers , the strawberry shake was excellent but I don't know how anybody could serve french fries like that and be proud of them. When they put it them the bag, you would think they'd stop and look at them think, well, I wouldn't eat that, I shouldn't serve that , but no, they just closed their eyes and put them in the bag. Places serve crap like this, and then they wonder why they don't have repeat customers. They did pretty well on two out of three but bad sad fries just ruined the whole meal. I was gonna go to In-N-Out for a late meal on a Saturday night, and then I remembered I've been wanting to try Mooyah for a while,.... but I guess it was too much to ask that anybody actually care about my french fries. I find myself confused as to why somebody would make the considerable investment in time and money to open a restaurant pand then serve french fries like that. 1st off,I will say right here this is a darn good burger. One of the best I've had. My only quibble really is for the price the burger is a bit small. I would like a little larger, but the quality of the burger, top notch! The fries good but nothing special, veryIn-N-Out like I like the drink selection. The Tractor lemonade and punch are a nice addition to usual fare. The place is small but clean. The young man at the counter was very friendly and helpful. Not sure how their hierarchy works here but the trashcan was near overflowing and the guys behind the counter were just chatting along themselves. Nice interior and free parking available. Wonky online ordering system. It wouldn't let me use the coupons or order anything even without the use of any. I have also actually ordered a few times from this location previously and didn't have issues like this. Even when placing the order in-person, the coupons didn't work. It actually ended up costing more money trying to redeem a free burger coupon, for example. The cashier decided to charge the burger toppings individually so it ended up costing way more than me ordering a burger without the use of coupon. As in a $10.99 burger ending up being $19. Outrageous. The wait time can be awhile and the food was soggy and tepid. As in oil soaked through the bag, buns are soggy, and the food itself being tepid in temperature. Did I mention it was missing toppings I got charged individually for? Including tomatoes and cheese? I wouldn't recommend or return again to my own friends. Food didnt take too long to make, but we also came on a near empty day. The service is nice but not always attentive. They were hanging around in the back a lot so we just ordered from the kiosk a few times. I appreciated that we could request they cut the burger in half for us! Lifestyle burger is good for a protein-friendly option if you want to skip the carbs. This is normally a secret menu item at in-n-out but they advertise and make clear hear what it's all about. This place overall reminds me of The Stand in long beach. Prices and quality are similar, except The Stand has a much larger space. The interior of this shop is small, but plenty of seating outside as it's in a small plaza in line with a bunch of other shops. Stayed at a hotel nearby and walked here. I love this location, many different places to eat and you can eat outside. Gives you the option for folks to eat at different places yet still sit together. It was very good. I got the double Diablo burger lettuce wrap style. And fries. They get bonus points for having malt vinegar available for my fries and seasoning salt. Both were delicious. I've been eating at the location in Irvine for many years. When I want a fast, top-quality burger I tend to rotate between 3 or 4 places and Mooyah is one of them. Recently I was hungry while in Cypress one afternoon and saw this location close by so I zipped over for a late lunch. This location is in a small plaza. It's tiny with only 5 indoor tables. There are several outdoor tables but the small umbrellas were not shading the 90 degree sun very well so I was lucky to grab the last vacant table inside. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, an order of fries and a mint chocolate chip shake. They had a happy hour price for the milkshake which was a pleasant surprise. In general, I find their prices easy on the wallet. My order was ready in less than five minutes. The thin smash burger was delicious with bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and their special mooyah sauce all between a potato bun. The fries were excellent, hot and crispy outside. The milkshake was creamy and thick, but immediately suckable through the straw. The mint flavor was lighter than I expected but I loved the plentiful chocolate chips which sipped easily up the straw. Decided to give this place a try and since it's near my son's work I brought him along. He's been here before but has not had their smash burgers yet. As I was doing my Yelp research of their menus, I noticed they have their select favorites or you can build your own, however the math does not make sense to build your own. It's better to choose a specific favorite that has most of what you want and omit whatever item you don't want. Overall, it would be the best value. Now that's just for the burger which is already over $10, depending which you choose, now how about fries and a drink? You can make any burger into a combo for an additional $5.99, making this a very expensive fast food meal. As for customer service, they welcomed us right away and ready to take our order, but what had me confused was I wanted to order a shake, but I wanted it for to go as a dessert on my way out so I asked if I can pay for it but if they can make it later when I'm ready for it, but the guy taking our said he'll make it and just put it in the fridge. I don't want that. It will still melt. So instead of working with the customer, he lost the opportunity to add more to my order. so i said i'll just order it later, which in my head, i'm not going out of my way if you can't go the extra mile for a customer. I can overlook all of those things if the food is exceptionally delicious and is like the best smashed burger i've ever had, but honestly it's good, but not the best i've ever had. I can name a few places that are a better value for a burger meal at a restaurant or even fast food places. I think over all, there's a few things they can work on to make it a better value and maybe give staff some training to finding ways to be able to work with customers needs if it's not going against company policies. I've never been to a mooyah burger but I've seen tons of people post about it. When I came in, Edgar immediately greeted me. They have a simple menu, but they have a whole section on it how you can customize your burger with a bunch of different toppings. We got two bacon burgers, a family size fry and then a strawberry shake and coffee shake. The shakes are half off for their shake happy hour which is just during the week from 2-5 You order at the counter and then they call your name. Only a minute went by after we started eating and Edgar had already came out and asked how everything was. He kept going around to all the tables asking how everything was and if they needed anything just to yell for him. He truly went above and beyond The burger was delicious i absolutely loved it. And I loved how seasoned the fries were. You can also get the fries loaded with cheese, jalapeños and bacon. Which, I HAVE to do next time. The shakes though! They are real ice cream shakes and they were so thick. The coffee one was delicious and didn't have an overpowering fake coffee taste. And I absolutely loved the strawberry one. Unfortunately, nothing really stands out here to warrant a return visit and with better burger places in the area, you'd be better off going to Habit Burger, In-N-Out, or Paul's Place. I'll add bacon next time for the salt boost. Maybe the burger could use more sauce to liven it up. Okay MOOYAH I see you. My partner went here like 3 times straight and begged me to come check it out. It did not disappoint. If you like a sweet burger - their cheddar bacon BBQ is very sweet with a thin patty so you can have save some room for those shareable loaded fries. The queso on the fries are soooo good. Its about time this place opened. Located in Cypress near Valley View and Katella. Mooyah is the newest burger on the block!! I ordered the Mooyah cĥeeseburger. The smashed patty was very juicy with melted cheese snuggled between a fluffy artisan buttery bun topped with shredded lettuce, tomato and their secret sauce I opted out of. One bite and I was hooked. Service was fast and food was fresh. However cashiers should be trying to ready to explain their menu and burger options. We came here on a Saturday afternoon and wanted to try something new. Since it recently opened, we decided to try it out especially because we were craving a good burger. The burger spot is located in a plaza with other fairly new restaurants so plenty of parking. There is an outdoor to enjoy your food and to pass the time with your friends/family. As soon as walking in, the cashier greeted us and asked if we had any questions. We kinda knew what we wanted so went ahead and ordered. From ordering our food to actually getting it, was fast (a plus because I was starving). I ordered the Cheddar Bacon BBQ burger and it was amazing. The burger comes in a fluffy potato bun and tasty applewood bacon. The cheese and BBQ sauce just add the finishing touch to the burger. Unfortunately, I was so hungry that I scarfed it down and by the time I was done, I wanted more. You get to choose what type of fries you want with your meal. I ended up ordering the housemade potato chips and they were delicious. Overall, great and quick service with yummy food. If you are in the area, definitely try this new spot out. The Mooyah sauce tasted weak; I hardly noticed it. It did not impact the burger one way or another. The fries were so soft, dark and oily that I could not get myself to finish them. Mentally, all I could think of was how these oily fries were clogging my arteries, with each and every bite. A would say, a single order of fries is enough to share. On the positive end the restaurant was clean. The interior tables were also clean, but the outside ones needed to be wiped down; not sure who is responsible for this. Terrible start to this place. The promo code for a free shake the app gave me for signing up did not work. No place to scan my app QR code for points. Employee told me to scan the code on the receipt. No code on my receipt to scan. The burger itself is as small as a McDonald's double cheeseburger, just with a very big bun and smashed patties to try and make it look bigger. Just as much meat but at a premium price. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger ($11) and a friend and I split a shareable fries. Burgers range from $9 to $15, then add $6 to make it a combo including fries and a drink. The burger came with a small -- you can't even call it a strip -- of bacon. Overdone too. (see picture) The fries are styled like a Steak and Shake or Islands. Nothing was seasoned. Both my friend and I were still hungry after leaving. I feel ripped off and insulted. Save your money and go elsewhere like In n Out. I ate at this establishment for the first time. I ordered a MDC Combo with a Hershey's Chocolate Shake in lieu of the soft drink. I also had "wooder". Burger was good. Fries were decent. Shake was very good. There was only one "all gender" washroom. Not adequate in my opinion but I am not going to ding this establishment for that. Washroom was clean and had paper towels available... good. I have one bone to pick; that is, the personal appearance of the employees. I observed that all the employees at this establishment wore their shirts untucked. I consider that to be highly unprofessional. It is great that the employees are allowed to wear jeans and t shirt but the really ought to tuck their shirts in to look professional. I am dinging this establishment one point due to the untucked shirts. I did notice that one of the employees was wearing Levi's Blue Jeans. If I was to assign a letter grade like is done in school this establishment would be in there solid with a B. read more

On Monday, January 19, 2026, at approximately 1:14 p.m., I placed an order that included three individual burger patties, along with other items. After reviewing my receipt, I noticed that only one patty had been entered. I returned to the cashier to request that the remaining two patties be added. During this interaction, the cashier re-entered the order; however, the new receipt reflected two regular burger sandwiches instead of individual patties. I explained that I only wanted two additional patties, consistent with the original. The cashier informed me that she had been instructed by her boss to enter the order as regular burger sandwiches. I then asked to speak with the supervisor for clarification. When he approached, he asked for both receipts and took them from my hand, then issued a cash refund without any explanation. I informed him that the original transaction had been paid by credit card and requested clarification regarding the policy. I also politely asked for his name. He stated that he was the owner but refused to provide his name or any further explanation. The man was approximately 5'4" tall with a stocky build. Due to his rude and unprofessional behavior, my family and friends who are regular customers and have decided to stop patronizing this establishment. I was extremely disappointed by the rude and mean behavior I experienced as a customer. This was the worst service I have encountered. These burgers are top notch not dry but just perfect. I would definitely come back here again when I'm in the area one of the best burgers in Orange County I've had in a while. First time here as it was nearby where I was staying and was looking for something more protein based for dinner. I got the turkey burger wrapped in lettuce (no cheese) and fries. Burger was cooked great and very juicy! Fries were thick and flavorful and they offer a wide array of sauces. Prices are about what you'd pay at The Habit or somewhere like that so no complaints really. We got it to go but if you stay inside they have some seating but it's a very no frills environment.
