I needed to install a Tesla Wall charger after picking up my Tesla. Nick responded within minutes with a quote and installed my charger on the next day. Nick is very knowledgeable and has installed many Tesla chargers before and had my charger installed within an hour using highest quality wire and components to allow my charger to charge at maximum rate of 48 amps. During the install he noticed a bad breaker module that was improperly installed by another contractor for my air conditioner. The module had some burn marks and could have eventually damaged my breaker panel. Nick was able to replace this module in minutes. Overall Nick's pricing is very reasonable and he does quality work. Called Nicks Electric to switch out ugly halogen single light in garage to 2 LED lights. Nick answered the phone and gave me a very fair quote. We had used Nick's Electric before, so contacted them to install a new ceiling fan (original had been improperly installed by a different electrician many years ago) and to check on a light that was flickering when the electricity was off. Nicho and Oscar installed the replacement ceiling fan easily. But the light flickering was caused by serious problems in our 50 year old breaker box. Nicho did quite a bit of work on that, replacing a number of faulty breakers exhibiting low voltage output with some scorching that was clearly visible once the breakers were removed. I had work done by this company twice - the first service worked out well so I contacted him again for a separate issue. I paid $650 to have an outlet fixed in the backyard. A week later, the electricity went out again. He came and reset the GFI and said that's all the was needed. A few days later, the electricity went out again. When my husband called again, Nick was rude with his customer service and told us that "GFIs can be finnicky" and then said we should have a sprinkler company come and replace the solenoid as that could have been whats causing the issue. He did not offer to come out even though this was the second time we were having issues after work was completed. After my husband and I spent two hours troubleshooting, we were able to resolve the issue ourselves. I don't understand how "GFIs can be finnicky" when we have other GFIs that do not have issues. Nor have we had family and friends mention issues with their GFIs. He appeared frustrated with our call backs to have him reassess the work that he had done. Had we listened to him, we would have spent more money having something else replaced when it wasn't even an issue. After spending so much money and being a repeat customer, I thought the customer service would have been better. read more
