Tried to give NO STARS! Ordered flowers with chocolates a week before delivery to find out they were NEVER delivered! They said they called me the DAY of delivery, which is a lie (I have phone records!) to ask for credit card number, which I supplied to their website a week BEFORE delivery. Then they said their website only shows the last four of the card - why take cards on their website?! And why wait until DELIVERY DAY to ask? Total BS. I think this is a front. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE UPSET! Now I see why they mostly have only ONE STAR reviews! read more

I have been home sick with pneumonia and my mom had flowers sent to me as she lives an hour and a half away. When the flowers got delivered, it was a paper bowl of greenery with a single white flower that was already wilting and half dead when it got here. I appreciate the sentiment and wasn't even going to tell my mom. She asked about the flowers the next day. Apparently there were supposed to be purple lilacs and butterflies on the basket (she chose the basket with these cause they reminded her of my grandma). There were not. She spent $50 for a certain basket, and what I got looked nothing like what she chose and like it was plucked from someone's backyard. She sent me what she ordered, and they are not even close. My sweet sister gifts me with a bouquet every Christmas and I have raved over them in the past. This year's version came from Nick's Flowers in far North East Portland and I'm sure it was created by an eight-year-old. With shiny red and plastic white balls, a Santa's hat sat atop a smash of white carnations apparently made to appear to be Santa's head with googly eyes placed in the center. What a ghoulish sight!!! The remainder of the flowers flowed down to the edge of the container and dried up old greens finished off the back of the "arrangement." I've never seen a worse use of God's floral beauty than that googly eyed old Santa and dried up old greens. NEVER use this florist!!! read more

There is no rating because the services they offer are horrendous. I ordered online, through SendFlowers.com. I picked out the "Blue Hues Flower Bouquet" as it included Lilies and yellow roses along with some blue filler flowers. The arrangement received was 5 white roses DYED partially blue with a sprig of babies breath. I am dumbfounded and at a loss, especially considering the card attached to the flowers from Nick's Flowers said, "We have built and excellent reputation on beautiful flowers and prompt service. If we ever fail to meet your expectations, please let us know. We value you as a customer." I called the number, 306-281-8120, and got an answering machine with a message in a foreign language. When I called the number advertised on YELP, again I got an answering machine. And based on other reviews, I would say DO NOT order from Nick's Flowers. Do NOT buy your flowers here! The quality and presentation is horrible and their customer service is non existent! I had someone order flowers for me and had them sent on a Monday. When they arrived the vase was filthy, the water was dirty, and the few roses in the bouquet were dead. I called them immediately and sent them pictures of what they delivered. They said they would put together a new bouquet and re deliver on Tuesday. That never happened. They told me my order was out with the delivery car and would arrive by 6:00pm. After calling twice they no longer toke my calls and would not call back. Today is Wednesday and still no flower delivery. There are lots of beautiful flower shops, go find one as You Do NOT WANT TO USE this COMPANY! A one star would be too kind! read more

I'm writing this because My mother just lost her husband of 63 years, so her sister-in-law (my aunt) who lives east of Seattle used Nick's (or her order was routed there, not sure how Nick's wound up with the order), and anyway a lovely summery bouquet was ordered to be sent today, June 4, 2019 of yellow mini-carnations in a nice square wicker basket. Now you can see for yourself my mother Marilyn's address was plainly indicated. Yet (as I wrote on Facebook) the navigation-challenged delivery-driver of Nick's Flowers of Portland, Oregon (google maps much?-heard of it?), got inside inside a gated community (key-pad entry even) and drove down to the end of the private dead-end 178th street and left the bouquet on the porch of randomly-chosen house a cul-de-sac at the end of the clearly sign-posted 178th Street (yes, totally different than 167th Avenue here in Washington state; I don't know about Ore-gun). Fortunately the woman who lived there knew who the flowers were intended for and delivered them personally to my newly-widowed mother, completing the job for Nick's "We don't care where we leave your flowers" Flowers of Portland, Oregon. Shameful non-performance by Nick's, and Nick's should immediately refund my aunt Cathy Karlsen of Sultan, Washington her money-AND deliver another bouquet to the correct address this time, AT NO CHARGE that's the least Nicks can do to attempt to rectify this outrageously callous non-performance. Does Nick's really care to deliver good service? We'll see. read more

I placed an order online, was never delivered, they said they tried to call me because they needed a 3 digit number from the back of my card, they are lying, I never received a call. I would not recommend this business. My son who lives in Idaho ordered a basket of plants for me for my birthday. He called to see if they had been delivered. I had not gotten them when I was suppose to. When my husband took the garbage cans to the road for pickup he found the basket sitting on a fence post at the end of our drive way. It had been raining and the basket was soaked and the card wet. I called my son and let him know. He called the shop and a new basket was delivered to the door the next day. I called him to let him know that I had gotten a new delivery and described the basket to him. He ask me what the first one looked like so I told him. He said the first one was not the one he had ordered. It was smaller and cheaper than the one he had ordered. The second delivery was actually the one he had ordered. read more

NEVER order from this florist! I think they go out and get left over flowers from somewhere and try to make an arrangement with them. The flowers arrived with almost dead wilting flowers, not even close to what was ordered. When I called I was asked to take a picture and text it to him and a new arrangement will be made and redelivered. In reading the reviews now from others, I do not expect that it will happen. Shame on this florist to think that what they delivered would ever be acceptable for the good money that is spent on flowers. read more

So being a loving father I sent my daughter some flowers for Valentines day from NICKS FLOWERS. I submitted the order online since I live in California. I purchased the Hugs and Kisses Bouquet $34.95 with medium chocolates $19.99 delivery fee $10.00 tax $4.61 total $69.55. No problem. In the comments on the website I asked them to be delivered at a certain time since it was being delivered at her work. Time requested between (10 am to 1pm) if any issues on those time please contact me (No call) okay all should be good. It seems the flowers arrived after 8pm and my daughter was gone at 5pm. The flowers were not what I ordered and no chocolates? I called Nick and explained the issue and he says he will deliver another batch of flowers with candy. Nothing has arrived to my daughter and now all I get is an answering machine. One star is still to much but I have to put something to submit this message. I will send out mass email DO NOT GET FLOWERS FROM HERE. Nicks flower shop you should not be in business. read more

I received flowers from Nick's and I was hugely disappointed. The flowers were not complimentary to each other all. A few pink roses with some orange and yellow annuals. It looked like someone bought a $7.99 bouquet from the grocery store and stuck them in a plain vase. I feel bad for my friends who paid way too much! read more

Received a bouquet of flowers this week (from Nicks Flowers - address on the small card attached says the address was 19295 E Burnside St. Portland) for my husband and I's 50th wedding anniversary. They came from my life long friend and her husband who live in another city. We live in Vancouver. I want to be kind with my words, but I must say many of the flowers did not look fresh. Within a day, then 2 days, flowers began to wilt - roses fell over, the one sunflower fell over. It was a very colorful bouquet with yellow, white, pink, purple - no reds yet the bow on the vase was red. There was quite a bit of alstromeria in the bouquet, several colors - I grow alstromeria in my yard and love it for how long it lasts when I cut it and bring it in the house. Even the alstromeria looked old with leaves dried and brown. The vase was extremely cold when it was delivered - wondered if it was possible that the flowers had gotten a bit frozen for how they looked. All to say, for such a thoughtful gift coming from our friends - and I know not an inexpensive gift at that, it definitely was not an A-1 delivery. read more
