We went to our friends' house in Armonk last month for a Saturday reunion with several of our favorite people, including many adorable children. It was a wonderful day, and Nick's Pizza & Ice Cream provided the much-needed fuel for our group of eighteen. We got pepperoni, veggie, and a comically large number of cheese pizzas. The pizzas were solid. They kept us all sated, and if I've done the math correctly, our hosts had enough cheese left over to feed their family until 2025. We live very far from Armonk, but we hope to come back as often as possible to gather with friends and children. When we do, I expect we'll order from Nick's again. It seems like a reliable place to get pizza, and maybe even ice cream. read more

Finding a good pizza place is tough, but Nicks delivered. This place is so bad I returned twice!!! Location is great for me as I drive right by on my way from work. Inside is simple but clean, plenty of parking outside. Summer time you can eat out and watch the cars or people go by. Staff was friendly, and ordering is simple. Traditional pies, the sauce is good not too sweet or greasy like some places. The Sicilian was well cooked crispy not burned and generous toppings. I had pizza and ice cream here. The pizza is just like the pizza I had when I travelled to Italy. The crust is a little dryer and crunchy which was perfect. It tasted wonderful. They have all kinds of flavors like salad pizza, buffalo chicken, pepperoni, chicken Marsala, and a whole bunch more. It brought back the memories of my travels to Italy. The slices are quite large and filling. Now for the ice cream! It's the best tasting ice cream around. Lots of flavors. I think my favorite is the cannoli flavor. Service is really very fast, friendly and the servers are really nice and always ask how you're doing and if you need anything and you will have a nice conversation with them. This is a friendly mostly take out restaurant where there are a few tables so you can sit and eat and if it's nice outside there are tables to sit outside. There is a huge pizza oven right behind the counter where you can see your food baking and I think they do a lot of take out. They also do birthday party's and we had my granddaughter's party there and the kids had a great time as did the adults. A++ If you're in the area or passing by Armonk I highly recommend Nick's Pizza right off of interstate 684. I've been eating there for years. Their pizza and ice cream are delicious and their service is even better. Recently I arrived there with my family and a flat tire. The staff saw I needed help and while the kids enjoyed their pizza/ice cream, the staff came to the rescue and changed my tire. Their kindness didn't end there, they had someone follow me home up to Somers to make sure I got home ok with my kids. I am forever grateful. read more

I was here to satisfy quickly satisfy an ice cream craving. I had ice cream, alright but the experience and the ice cream could have been better. For one, the staff weren't so good about face/mask coverings. One guy pulled up his mask once we walked in, and the other worker serving the ice cream didn't exactly have a face covering. It was like a clear shield that stretched from her chin to as high as the nose but leaving her nose uncovered. I ordered a hard ice cream but it was strangely grainy in texture. I understand they don't mix their own ice cream but what they carry is a Perry's ice cream product. Perhaps their pizza is leaps and bounds better but I don't think I'll return until their mask etiquette improves or after the pandemic is over. read more

Honestly, I haven't tried the pizza yet and maybe never will since the dinners are fantastic! My wife and I have had the Chicken Scarpariello, Sausage and Peppers, Shrimp Parmesan and the Bolognese sauce. They were all delicious and plentiful. We usually have left overs for the next night. I moved from the Bronx so the pizza is a NO for me BUT their ice cream selection had us come back plenty of times so we decided to try some different things from the menu. The Philly cheesesteaks are bomb. The bread is always fresh and they are not skimpy on the meat. The cheese calzones are really good too- but that's cheese and bread- difficult to mess up maybe, but still my favorite! The ice creams though, so good. I'd recommend a French roast coffee milkshake, cravings are always satisfied. Just awesome read more

OK so first time eating here stopped in got a meat lovers slice. The slice was huge they had to give me two plates to hold it just like I used to get in the Bronx. For the 15 minutes that I was there they seem to be pretty busy for a Thursday afternoon at 4:30 PM. The garlic knots looked enticing I didn't get any but maybe next time. They have some outside tables did not sit outside because it was raining and they have parking on the left side of the building so it's very convenient to stop in and grab a slice. Would have rated 5 stars because even though it's pricy, the slices are huge... However, unfortunately this place is breaking the law in terms of credit card fees. 1st they charged me for using a debit card and 2nd while extra fees are allowed under NY law, the law states that; "Under the new rules, the higher credit card price is supposed to be listed in "dollars and cents" on the menu or price tag or sign in order to avoid consumers having to do the math on the upcharge themselves, according to the state Attorney General's Office. Businesses are then free to offer a real cash discount off the higher, credit card price, the AG's Office said." They are NOT supposed to be adding it at the end as a "fee". They are supposed to list the higher price on the menu and offer a cash discount. Many places do it this way and it's illegal. $500 first offense fine if reported. So you've lost a customer for .30 on principle. read more

The biggest slice of pizza I've had. Sauce was delicious and crust was crispy. My buddy had the capellini marinara with meatballs. Also on point. The sauce was not to sweet and the meatballs were flavorful, or good size, not over spiced and the right proportion of bread crumbs and ground meat. A very nice place for lunch. Didn't try the ice cream, but the pricing, and abundant selections looked like they'd bring in a lot of kids in the summer time. A solid 5 stars for sure read more

When I went the place was packed with kids who just got out of school who all wanted ice cream and they only had one person waiting on both pizza customers and ice cream customers, so I had a longer wait than I would like. I don't understand how this spot have 4 stars. Possibly for the ice cream. I was passing through town on a 16 he drive. Haven't eaten all day and was starving. This was the only shop close to the highway. Figured I'll grab something quick and hit the road. I grabbed 3 over rated and over priced slices. Terrible idea. I'm not trying to bash the company as I'm sure the locals enjoy it since it's probably the only pizza shop for miles. But not Edible at all. Had 2 bits of 1 slice and that was it. Mind you I was starving but I couldn't eat that cardboard. Brought the leftover home and the kids refused to touch it. What a waste of $20. I was there on a Tuesday so I bet the pizzas was made over the weekend. Possibly if I would have ordered a small fresh pizza I would have gotten something I could have eaten but as for the slices stay far away. I think that they take the title - best pizza in the general Armonk/Pleasantville/Bedford/Thornwood/Chappaqua area....slices are HUGE; tons of good options for the slices. Salads were good. I didn't love the Chicken Scarp but if you go for pizzza; there arent' better options. Broadway North now has a legitimate contender for best pizza place in Armonk. The pizza is high quality, although seemingly overpriced, but the large slices make it worth the extra coin. The chicken parm roll is an A+ and blows Broadway's chicken roll out of the water. Tack on the fact that Nick's has cornered the Armonk ice cream market with the closing of Peachwave and you have yourself a place worth going to. read more

I never write these review but today I feel compelled. The pizza is pretty standard New York style pizza. Big generous slices! As food goes it works for me. However, I just wish that the guy working the cash register wasn't touching food with his bare hands. The register is the swivel type that they turn around and have you (the costumer) sign with your fingers. So ostensibly strangers are touching the resister screen, then the employee touches it, then he turns around and immediately grabs a handful of pepperonis and puts them on your slice. Nicks is the only pizza store in Armonk that answers their phone in a friendly manner. Their service is outstanding, from in house to delivery, and especially over the phone. I no longer order from other places specifically for that reason. Their pizzas and pastas are amazing (serving sizes are very generous) and their milkshakes are absolutely to die for. My kids love going there after their soccer games for soft serves and the guys are always so friendly toward them. 100% recommended. read more

This place is a true gem. The pizza is real Bronx style (the slices in store are hyuuge) and they always have a broad selection of different slices at the counter (their chicken vodka, white, mushroom & onion, Sicilian and plain/pepperoni have to be our favorites). They also have really good, super crispy wings and their sandwiches are great but their dishes are brilliant - especially for a place that's mainly takeout - and remind me of an old school Bronx or Philadelphia neighborhood Italian joint. The Chicken Parm, Chicken Scarp and Eggplant Rollatini are our favorites. In short: everything here is on point and the staff are extremely polite. read more
