My friend and I were craving pizza on our drive home from New Jersey to Connecticut and picked this place randomly. They have a few tables and a bar too against the windows, but it seemed like more of a pick-up/to-go place. There were constantly people in and out picking up orders and coming in for a slice. They had a bunch of different pizzas to choose from in the window. We wanted a little of everything so we got a slice of Cheese, a slice of the Spinach pizza, Chicken Noodle Soup and Baked Ziti. The pizza was thin, crisp and delicious. The soup didn't look like it would be flavorful at all but it was more hearty than I expected - You could taste all the vegetables and different ingredients. I called in a simple dinner order of 2 Cobb salads tonight. When I picked up the food, I noticed there was no chicken in the salad. When asked, the manager dismissively claimed that a Cobb salad does not come with chicken and turned his attention to other customers, attempting to ignore me. Delicious. I'm going to get controversial: I don't mind Domino's pizza. OK, that said, it's because I'm from Michigan, and because I have never really found great pizza in suburban New York. I define great pizza as crispy crust and ample fresh ingredient options. Pizza Station fit the bill. The Greek salad pizza is my new favorite, but you cannot go wrong with a plain pie, either. I was ordering three pizzas for my office to congratulate them on a great job at a trade show, and their online menu gave the prices as $9 (cheese), $11 (Margherita) and $22 (Meat Lover's). Not bad; I figured that's reasonable for upper Westchester. When I called to order, they told me the advertised prices in their online menu were no longer valid ("old menu," they said), and the new total was NEARLY $20 MORE!! I couldn't help feeling chiseled. Pizza station is generally very good, especially their chicken vodka slice. However the last couple times I noticed the price increased substantially, for two slices my total was over $12. I have been coming here for years and was surprised by the price increase. Still worth it when in the area but this may be one of the most expensive slices in the area. read more

When we were leaving a staff member ran after us and accused us of not paying for our meal. I showed him my receipt as did my friend but he did not believe us and demanded that we stay put and went to check with the other staff. This place fails at doing Sicilian slices correctly. Sicilian is the standard bearer of a pizza place, because it's just just bread, tomatoes, and mozz, so to screw it up is to declare a pizza place mediocre right off the bat. The cheese looks and tastes like something you might make at home from a frozen dinner box. When I've gotten take out pizza with a few toppings, the cheese tends to separate from the dough. Do yourself a favor and go to La Famiglia (also in Katonah, right by the Post office) for authentically good pizza. read more
