The pizza is very delicious and the prices are affordable. The parking is not so great. They have been at their location for several years. They will deliver the pizza. They have plenty of toppings and some cool sports celebrities on the wall. They sell plenty of beverages, and they take cash and credit cards. The Sicilian slice is divine. I burned the roof of my mouth!!!! Because....the pizza smelled so good and after taking a bite I just started inhaling it, as if I never ate before. Today was my first time ordering from this place, we are new to Greenwich and the place we ordered from before is now closed. Who knows!? I ordered a Sicilian with onion and mushroom and a regular pie 1/2 peperoni. We ate so fast I forgot to take a picture. The Sicilian was DELICIOUS!!!! The bottom had a nice crispiness to it, but not burned. The kids had the pizza and both of them said the flavor was great but pizza was a bit too greasy. I will definitely return for the Sicilian, and start trying out other options. By the way this is a traditional pizza joint NYC style where you grab a slice have a seat, eat and go. Mmmmm! Good! We stopped in in our way up to Boston. Easy exit off the highway. Parking was a little tricky, pulling off the side of the road - on a slight curve. We had a simple cheese pizza with sausage. Nice crispy crust. Fresh cheese and sauce. Sausage slices. Very tasty! Maybe 5 tables. Neighbor type spot. Regulars got hugs! I work in an ambulance in NYC. We are working in the area, my partner and I decided to get pizza. First thing is there's no signs saying cash only. The guys waited until the food was finished to say that no card is allowed. While the food is being made they didn't use gloves. And usually I don't make a sense or mention it to a worker I just walk away. But being that I was working I let it slide, however, after deciding to use the atm ($3 fee), I gave the guy a twenty and he didn't give me any change! He said my partners food was $8.50 and then he said mine was $10.00. And I stood around waiting for my change and he just said yea it's $20 together and I said the numbers don't add up. Because we had an emergency call, my partner I decided to just leave and let it go. The fact that this behavior is coming from a small business is crazy. Cash only places are bad when they don't tell you beforehand. Especially because there's a chase bank around the corner. And trying to finesse on not giving change is wrong!!! Everyone works hard for their money, including this business, so if my change is $1.50, you give the person $1.50. read more

My family has been going here since it opened in the 70s. It's such a cozy spot and everyone is so friendly. The pizza is consistently awesome. I think it's 100% the best pizza in Greenwich. Fantastic Place For A Slice!!! When I lived in New York from 2008-2018 Glenville Pizza was my go place to pick up a pepperoni pizza on the way home from work for dinner. Overall (4 stars): Great NY style pizza at an awesome price. Had a mushroom slice and a broccoli slice here (ordered half and half on our pie). The pizza passes the crispy test! When it's held by the crust, the tip doesn't bend down showing that it has an awesome, crisp crust. I am particularly impressed because most of the time, when you order a pie, this does not occur (happens more often for slices that are reheated and the center of the pizza gets a chance to settle). When you bite into the pizza here, you get that perfect sink through the chewy part of the crust and then you meet your bottom teeth to break through that crispy layer... perfect! I was less impressed with the toppings though. The sauce was a little on the bland side to me and I wished there were slightly more sauce on the pie as well. Broccoli was completely unseasoned so it was kind of just some steamed broccoli on top of the pizza. The cheese was quite good though, and the right quantity for me! Was gooey but not overly so that when you took a bite, all the cheese of the slice comes off at once. The fact that you can't mess the cheese/sauce up too much anywhere and the amazing crust (and cheap price!) makes this joint a winner though. read more

I have been a big fan of "Vinny's PIzza" since we moved to Glenville in 1978. The regular / Neapolitan pizza is very good, in fact, I can't think of a better slice in town....... But the reason I now drive across town is for the very BEST Sicilian style pizza there is..... Perfect crust, sauce and just the right amount of cheese.
