Carry out only pizza place with good service and the food comes out fast! The pizza itself is a good typical pizza, not too flashy but definitely hits the spot. and different from a normal chain pizza!

This place was good but the pizza was overloaded. It still tasted good but had too many toppings, so they weren't all cooked properly. The bacon onion bread was legit delicious.

This is the most amazing pepperoni and bacon pizza I've ever had

Decided to give Nick's another try since it had been another few years and....surprise! It was quite good this time. Ordered a couple different pizzas over a couple weeks and both were good. Sauce maybe a touch bland and sweet but the cheese and crust were good. I now have Nick's on the short list of spots for pizza pick-up. Good to see things improving.

Received a coupon for a free large two topping pizza (take out) once moving to the area and ordered large with pepperoni and Italian sausage. Pizza overall was pretty good. Toppings were pretty tasty but the dough didn't feel cooked in certain parts of the pizza. Definitely will give them another shot and try some other items.

I get the same thing every time and it's always perfect. Medium pepperoni, bacon and mushrooms with a side of ranch. Gets the job done every time!

(Disclaimer: I ordered this through instacart (UberEats) and he picked it up quick and delivered…read moreit). I ordered the $30 combo pack they have. 4 types of wings and two fries. All of the chicken wings I ordered were absolutely disgusting. I grew up in upstate New York, home of the Buffalo wing...I love chicken wings and know I may be bias, but I usually can't turn away from one because a wing is a wing. However, these are hands down the worst chicken wings I've ever had (besides eating a cold soggy leftover Domino's "chicken wing" after a late night at the club when I was 21). But I digress. To start, just by opening the box and looking at them, I knew it wouldn't be good. The wings themselves were fatty, pale, soggy and undercooked. Absolutely disgusting. They were also very greasy which it's confusing to me. I took one bite and I instantly knew this was a mistake. But I was trying to be optimistic. Then I tried a little bit of the other flavors and had to stop. The sauces were all wrong. The buffalo sauce was like a red vaseline paste with cayenne pepper added to it, yet somehow it tasted like nothing and no actual flavor. The garlic parmesan wings weren't even properly coated with sauce (see in the picture) and it was all garlic "nose heat" but bland butter flavor, and needed salt just to balance it out. The dill pickle was ok, but the wings were so soggy and chewy I had to stop eating. Then, I had an amazing thought to dry the dry rub butter cheese (because that doesn't have sauce so how could they mess that up?) and it was the worst one. Soggy, no flavor, fatty, disgusting. Honestly, even the side of blue cheese tasted like crap. The fries were fries. Nothing mind-blowing but I was grateful to have something edible to eat. My 4-year-old daughter and I basically just ate french fries for dinner. My kitchen sink and counter outlets have an issue and aren't working right now. The last thing I wanted to do was waste more time cooking and having to wash my pots and pans down in the basement in the laundry sink with a bin. That is why I wanted to order take-out tonight so I could catch a break for once. Anyway, I honestly don't understand how you can actually send this food out to paying customers. I'm a single parent and wanted to get my daughter a little treat for dinner from having a busy week. I don't get takeout often I'm just trying to survive society but I had some rewards through instacart and $0 delivery so I figured it would be a good thing. I admit that I made a mistake. This was me being annoyed, it was actually upsetting, and my daughter was upset as well because she was hungry and didn't like them either. . I have had the wings at the location in Eastpointe a couple of times...my mom lives over there. For mother's day my mom and I request to have chicken wings for dinner as a family (with my siblings and their wives) which means we do love wings and consider ourselves connoisseurs (casual ones of course) At that location, yes the wings are good. Not amazing, but it serves its purpose. Pro tip: If you're only going to make wings as a business concept they better be damn good. Especially with a name like yours (claiming the entity after an entire city) needs to uphold better quality to reflect positivity on Detroit. So now, it is 8:45pm, I'm defeated, my kid is upset and hungry and it's time for bed. Actually, I'm not feeling defeated, I'm pissed. And I want my money back.

The people working here were so friendly and personable with literally everyone that walked in the door. The service was top notch. It is also the most adorable place giving vibes of Lamy's food counter at Henry Ford Museum. I loved all of the options on the menu and it was so hard just picking a couple items to try. We had chicken tacos. They were so good and so fresh, I loved the sauce on top. Honestly, I am not sure if it was cheese or a sour cream type mixture, but it was creamy and flavorful. I also had the torta which was absolutely incredible. It had the same chicken as the taco. The chicken was slow cooked or stewed and shredded and was so flavorful, like a homecooked chef's kiss. The bread was fresh. I loved the sauce poured over it, making it a dipped and soaked sandwich. The carrots and cilantro, sliced radishes and sliced fresh jalapenos added a level of crunch, freshness and deeper flavor profile. I would want to get this every time. We also tried their delicious "curly" fries, which were like julienned shoestring fries fired fresh. It seemed like every dish was made fresh and right in front of you. So worth it, plus the prices are great. I would love to try their fried chicken plate, their breakfast sandwiches, and their other desserts. We talked to the man behind the counter who seemed like maybe a manager. He gave us their famous chocolate chip cookie to try. It was fresh baked and delicious. I would love to take home more of those. It looked so simple but was better than many bakeries specializing in cookies alone. He also gave us an second order of fries to take home with my leftovers, just top notch kindness and service. This man told us that OWL owns other restaurants and we would probably like them. I am open to trying more of their group but I do want to return here. This is one of those diners you would find being profiled for best kept secret or gourmet home cooked foods under the guise of fast food.

I was surprised the menu wasn't more Italian / pasta focused, but there were a lot of interesting options. I ordered the Gemelli and split the beet salad with my bf. Others also got the beet salad but added a protein. I also got a specialty margarita that was good, but expensive ($15) for the size. My Gemelli was delicious and a huge portion. My bf ate a bit of it and I still had a large carryout box. There was so much leftover we split that and the rest of the salad for our dinner. All in all everyone enjoyed their meal and commented on the nice staff and good food. The staff was particularly nice and stopped by several times. The bad? It was 30 degrees out and we were seated by the front door. Every time someone came in we were hit with a blast of cold air. Some people were clueless and literally stood holding the door open while waiting for friends. So - Como's should build an entryway of some sort to shield their guests from freezing air every time someone enters. I can't imagine what it would be like on a zero-teen degree day - which is pretty common in Michigan. Otherwise good experience and we will come back now that we know they have good food and a new menu.

Ordered the mushroom Detroit style with garlic- quite greasy and good once but not a repeat favorite. The meatball appetizer was dry and not very tasty. My drink ran out and didn't get refilled until the end of the meal- one of my dining triggers of poor service. Not the worst meal, but not as good as I remembered.
