The sheetrock ceiling openings were cut very poorly and irregularly, and all of the removed drywall pieces were discarded. This has made the patching and repair work significantly more difficult and costly than necessary, see attached photo. A professional plumber would normally: Cut clean, standard-shaped openings (for example, rectangular sections such as approximately 1 ft × 2 ft), Minimize unnecessary damage to surrounding materials, and Keep the removed drywall pieces near the work area so they can be reused or referenced during patching. I raised these concerns with the plumber, but instead of correcting the issue, I was told that I would need to pay an additional fee to address the patching challenges caused by the original work. I do not believe it is reasonable for me to bear extra costs resulting from workmanship issues that could and should have been avoided with proper professional practices.
