    Crawfish soup and Caesar salad

I'd first like to start off by saying the service was excellent. They work fast and they are very attentive. I looks as if this is a family owned business which I loved. The food on the other hand wasn't my cup of tea.

came here with my sister on a saturday night in the mood for pasta and was kind of disappointed. the service was great and we were sat pretty quickly but the food was subpar. the bread was eh, the soup tasted watered down, the salad was also watery with a hint of parmesan and the fried guoda cheese balls weren't very flavorful. the dishes that we got were also interesting and flavorless. both just tasted very greasy like the chicken piccata dish was in a bath of butter. overall the place just felt like it was supposed to be a step up from olive garden but would honestly have rather dined there for something more satisfying. Again they were super nice and attentive! nice hard working people but the food was a miss

This place had been on our radar for a while but it didn't seem "fancy" for any special occasions. The husband and I ended up going for a date night and it was perfect. The food was delicious, the service was good, and the ambiance was casual but comfortable. I'd definitely eat here again! We got the calamari appetizer and chicken Parmesan, and my husband raved about his sandwich

All entries come with soup or salad plus they start you off with a basket of garlic bread, Par-magian chips with an olive oil dip. The portions are large. I ordered the Italian feast (short rib ravioli, 2 cheese ravioli, lasagna & fettuccine). The fettuccine was delicious! Ordered the pomodoro without the marinara & asparagus. Rigatoni as well. Over all everything was good.

When this restaurant opened I was their biggest Fan. We ate there 2-6 times a month that's how awesome it was. Now it's just Disgusting!! The first pic is what I ordered for pickup the 2nd pic is what I got. STAY AWAY FROM them.

Not a fancy place at all. It has kind of a Fazoli vibe. You don't feel like you are in an Italian restaurant. The food was just so-so. Nothing special at least what I ordered wasn't special. I love Italian steak sandwiches so I gave theirs a try. Swing and miss. It wasn't too good. The house salad is lettuce and cheese-no tomatoes, no olives just lettuce. Also, it's January 4th & still blaring Christmas music lol. Maybe the owners were on vacation.

Second time here, and the great service here still remains unmatched. When we came in (after months away) the lady in the front that served us last time remembered us. Our drinks were still never empty but for less than a minute. The Ambiance is laid back and casual. Still, the large windows reflect the ceiling lights in the night, and warm wooden floors cheer the place in the cold winter. The food is good. You don't go away hungry and you never have regrets on your choice. Ultimately, I would say the service is worth it in and of itself.

Interesting place. A would describe it as casual Italian. Staff is very friendly and helpful. When you sit down, they bring over a breadbasket and a plate with olive oil. The bread was toasted, and it had some other types of crackers/chips. They were good. We got the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich and Chicken Piccata. First the Chicken Parm Sandwich. It definitely did not look like a Chicken Parm Sandwich. Lacked sufficient sauce and cheese. With that said, it was a very good chicken sandwich. Bread was good. Just not a Chicken Parm Sandwich that I was expecting. I would give it 3 stars. The Chicken Piccata was delicious. Lot of chicken. Maybe a tad too much sauce. However, overall, some of the best we had. I would give it 5 stars. When you put the two together, I came up with 4 stars. Prices were very reasonable. Definitely plan to go back and try some other items on the menu.

We had been hearing great things about Nico and Ana's for some time and decided to meet up with some family members to try it out. The atmosphere is pretty casual and there's tons of places to sit. We went on an early Sunday evening and there were a fair amount of people there. The service wasn't the fastest but it was ok because it wasn't excessively slow and everyone working was definitely busy. I will say that they are super accommodating. Everything I ordered, I asked to be customized and wasn't on the menu. They had zero issues with it and it was accurate when it came to the table. I ordered a small Caesar salad: Romaine lettuce, Parmesan cheese, piada chips with Caesar dressing. The lettuce was fresh. The chips were a nice crunchy extra. The salad was not overdressed which I appreciate. No one likes a soggy salad. I would definitely order this again. For an entree I ordered the Parmesan platter: Lightly breaded, fried chicken topped with Ana's marinara, and a mix of provolone and mozzarella cheese. It normally comes with seasoned vegetables or spaghetti aglio e olio. I substituted the Nico's Fettuccini. The chicken parm was delicious. The chicken was perfectly cooked and wasn't dry. The sauce was really good too. The fettuccine was also delicious. Super rich and creamy. The pasta was also not overcooked so it had a nice bite. The portions were also huge. I made two meals out of it easily. And the prices are super reasonable. Everyone at the table agreed that they'd come back. Definitely don't pass them up.

When we told her it was our first visit to the restaurant, she took the time to carefully go over the menus with us (regular, happy hour, and drinks), providing her recommendations when we asked. Her guidance was spot-on-target! For drinks, I had a Mindful Chai and my friend had the 3-Beverage Flight (Golden Hour, Heart Says Thanks, and Tres Raices). My chai was the BEST I have ever tasted (and I order chai every chance I get!), and my friend loved her 3 drinks (she said Tres Raices was her favorite). For our food, we split an order of the Not Queso Dip and the Avocado Tostadas. We were both very impressed by how fresh the ingredients were, and the blend of flavors in each dish that created a unique and yummy taste. The Kitchen has an open, airy layout that inspires deep breathing, while the arrangement and spacing of tables still provides for intimacy of conversation and minimal ambient noise. Sofhia checked back with us several times during our meal to ensure we had everything we needed and were thoroughly enjoying our food and drink (we were!). It was a delightful meal, and we thank Sofhia, the kitchen staff, and everyone at Whole Harvest Kitchen for such a lovely time. We'll be back!!

We thought, why not try something new. Maybe it will be delicious! And we heard they might have vegan options! (They didn't.) First impression: the place is empty. I point out the sign at the front that says "GET READY TO HAVE SOME UN" and raise my eyebrows and my hungry wife manages a smile. I couldn't wait to find out what having some UN means! I'd like to see you guys eat a salad without a fork by the way. We scanned menu, saw nothing vegan IN THE YEAR 2026 AD and asked about vegan options. We were told there's vegetarian options but we are so hungry at this point why not try it. After all, this is supposed to be the best burger in Overland Park. There's the avocado taco (it has aioli on it tho thats probably not vegan) and they used to have a "portobello taco", but it got taken off the menu, and besides, to make it vegan you apparently have to take off the pesto and the cheese, leaving you with a mushroom and a piece of arrrrrugula on a dry tortilla, because 100% of sauces are animal based. It's Kansas City just put some barbecue sauce on it or something. They have an Impossible Burger, with which we are familiar, but the bun is an "egg bun" and for the vegan burger you get a gluten free cardboard bun, lettuce, tomato, zero condiments, and no salt or pepper, and you'll EAT IT AND LIKE IT. Come on, give me my gluten! I know you have only met 1 vegan in your life but most vegans aren't gluten free! We want just a regular bun is that too much to ask?! In 2026?! Is the UN for unseasoned? Un Bun? Unsatisfying menu? Does the UN allude to when the United Nations sanctioned this burger for war crimes? Look it up, 2018. So we got the Impossible Burger and truffle fries (fries sold separately because this country is going into the toilet) and sat down. Food came out fast enough. Fast AND casual. My wife almost burst into tears when she bit into the burger, not tears of joy either. She recalled a terminally ill patient that she had, in order to feel better about this burger. I said come on, cant be that bad. I took a bite and the complex flavors took me back in time to when I was a little lad, in the elementary school cafeteria line, being bullied by the other kids, being yelled at to hurry up by the wrinkly lunch lady as she slopped a bland half frozen meat puck onto the dishwater wet surface of my plastic lunch tray. Ahhh yes, this un-seasoned un-flavored un-glutened un-burger tasted just like that memory. And what's this! A bonus hair in the truffle fries! Unclean! Unwashed? Or underwear hair? It did taste like truffles... Either way, unbelievable. We choked down the best burger that the culinary Mecca of Overland Park has to offer, like the hungry little piggies we were, and left, unappetized and undignified. Avocado taco was alright though. If i had to rate the "truffle fries", I would be forced to go with the Unrated Edition, on account of the "seasoned curlies" I found in there. Now, in post-burger clarity, one can only wonder: if you asked the staff at Unforked for a fork, would they fork it over or do they just not give a fork?

Chicken Gyro (no tzatziki) - Large, well-grilled pita with tomatoes. Simple and solid--this is why we came. It delivered for her--she was in a full-on food coma after. (4/5) Beef/Lamb Gyro - Enormous--one of the biggest I've had. Nice grilled crust on the pita, tasty meat. (4/5) Wish it came with diced onions, and the tomatoes were diced instead of sliced. Tzatziki is a bit thinner and slightly off from what I'm used to. But on mine, there was some on the sandwich and a side--hadn't seen that before. It actually worked well, kept the meat moist--without making it mushy--and let me add more as needed. Added sambal for heat, which helped. Kebab Platter - Mixed bag. Steak kebab was solid (medium rare), minced kebab was decent (in between), chicken was just okay. Rice was very dry--I think I noticed some sumac on top, but either way it didn't help. The salad was excellent--fresh with a lot of pop. Not something I'd order again, but if I did, I'd eat the salad with the rice and kebabs instead of starting with it. It adds the moisture and pop the rest of the plate is missing. That said, each component should stand on its own. (3/5) Overall: 4/5 Gyros carry. Salad and steak kebab were nice, but the platter didn't land. I'd stick to gyros or just do a steak kebab plate next time.

Upon doing some research I learned it's a scratch kitchen specializing in clean eats, and that it's a chain. A win for the health options, a ding for the chain, but not all chains are bad, an we are living in a time where there are some winners. So, I packed myself up and headed down the road to Prairie Village. It's still fairly new, and it has that squeaky clean feeling to it when you arrive. Inside it's counter service and you seat yourself (they will bring the food to you). It kind of reminded me of how Noodles and Company felt when they first became a thing way back in the early 2000s. I ordered a thai salad that came in at under 400 calories so I was honestly skeptical at how big or flavorful it would really be when it arrived, and holy cow was it good.
