I LOVE this place!! I wrote a review on my Facebook page for all my "friends" who were inquiring about my fab new "doo" so I'm going to copy my review here: Ok Ladies...so here's the downlow : Its the newest hottest craze with all the A-list celebs (as raved about by Nicole Richie, Halle Berry, Lindsay Lohan, J-Lo, Jennifer Anisten and Ashley Tisdale) to name a few .... It seems like everyone has been talking about Brazilian Blowouts lately. So after the millionth time someone mentioned their fantastic BB experience to me, I realized that I had to give it a try for myself!! The only word I have to describe the "Brazilian Blowout" is AMAZING! I had thought about getting my hair straightened before but the Japanese straightening seemed to leave people's hair too flat and I wanted to keep some body in my hair. I'd even heard about Brazilian straightening before but the old way of doing it used formaldehyde and there was no way I was putting that on my head. This new "Brazilian Blowout" method does NOT use formaldehyde and none of the chemicals in it are carcinogenic. I had it done at Savvy Salon in Burlingame, one of the only places in our area using this method. It started with a thorough shampoo, then Nicole - the fabulous stylist there - applied the product to my hair and immediately after, she blew it dry and then painstakingly flat ironed it. No sitting around with the stuff on your head waiting for it to work. The heat activates it. Then it was back to the sink for a rinse and condition. Then it was another rinse and a final blow dry. The whole process took about two hours and when it was done, my hair was softer, silkier and shinier then it's ever been before. All I can say is wow! You really don't even begin to appreciate what a great treatment this is until you wash and dry your own hair for the first time post-treatment. It's truly amazing how much time it saves me in the morning and I no longer have to use the straightener to get polished-looking hair. I even went dancing this weekend when I got all sweaty hot and everyone couldn't believe how my hair didn't frizz up at all! Its supposed to last about 3 months, give or take...I don't think I can ever go without again in my life!! Found Adriana on a hair website and couldn't wait to go in for a brazilian blowout. I had been thinking about this for at least two years, but my regular salon and stylist aren't certified. I have been Nicole's client since 2007, and I love the way my hair turns out everytime! She is now certified to do Brazilian Blowouts and I just recently had one done to my hair. All I can say is... WOW! What a difference! I normally have very frizzy and unruly hair and after I had this treatment my life is completely changed. My hair used to take me 40 minutes to blow dry and flat iron, and now it only take me 10 MINUTES!!! It feels so healthy and soft.. The salon in itself is very clean, comfy and the decor is gorgeous. Nicole is fabulous and so is her salon. I've been looking for a great hair stylist for a long time and now I've found her! Nicole is really talented and is great at cuts and color. I'm really specific about my hair color and Nicole gets it just right every time. She is also very careful with everything she does. When I get a color she makes sure I never have color on my skin which I appreciate so much. She does things right and I never feel like she is rushing to get the next client in. I am often the only client in the salon and the setting is very relaxing and calm. For years I wanted to get the Brazilian Blowout and I trust Nicole so much I just got that done. My hair looks amazing! Super straight, silky and heathy looking. I have very curly hair and honestly it's just been transformed into the hair I've always wanted! I love my hair stylist, Nicole! She is excellent with color and will cut my hair exactly how I ask! She has great suggestions and is very creative as well! Meghan is incredible!! I just got a Brazilian Blowout from her and all I have to say is ... REVOLUTIONARY. My hair is literally the hair I always dreamed it would be. Nicole is awesome! After being recommended by several coworkers, I tried the Brazilian Blowout out and could not be happier or more impressed. Nicole transformed my daily routine of 1.5 hours (blow drying and straightening) to about 10 minutes. I honestly didn't realize that I could ever have perfectly straight hair! Brazilian Blowout with Meghan...one word, AMAZING! My days of blowdrying and flat ironing my hair every day are finally over! Meghan does an absolutely superb job and I have gone back three times now for the blowout..I am hooked for life! I have gone to Meghan for over 5 years for haircuts, skin care, eyebrow waxing and now the BB. She is very professional and has a very welcoming, friendly rapport with all of her clients, she is the best! Savvy salon is very clean and posh, it really stands out from the rest I have referred four coworkers of mine to get the BB and they absolutely love it. I've gone to Nicole at Epic Artistry for 5 years and I have never left disappointed. She does an amazing job whether it's color, cut or Brazilian blowout. I've been going to Christy for over a year now, and I love everything she's done to my hair. My hair (strawberry-blonde) is my favorite feature so I'm really protective of it. There's been a few things I've been skeptical about, but all of them have turned out great. My three unexpected favorites so far: 1. Thinning my hair. I have super thick hair that takes hours to dry. I was worried when Christy suggested thinning it because I didn't want to have "thin, limp hair." She talked me in to it, and I'm really glad I did. It's so much easier to manage now! Less shampoo and conditioner, less time to dry and easier to style! Yet no one can tell the difference from the look! It looks just as thick and luxurious as it did before. I'm definitely a believer. 2. Bangs. The last time I had bangs I was in middle school, and they were not flattering. Christy suggested some side bangs and they turned out really well. I really like how they look (more sophisticated and feminine). 3. Gloss. I'm getting married this summer and asked Christy to do my hair and makeup for my engagement photos. I wanted my hair to look really good in the photos, but I didn't want to do anything that would damage it or make it difficult to do my desired wedding style (long curls). Christy used a PM Shine on my hair that made it look fantastic while protecting and strengthening it at the same time. I've received a lot of complements on how good my hair looks. I was nervous because I've never done anything to my hair, but it turned out great. Christy is great with men's and women's cuts and colors. I've referred both my parents and my fiance to her. My fiance loves the scalp massage that comes with the men's cut. My dad likes the reasonable prices. My mom likes how the short hair cut shapes her face and how well the dye matches her natural color. She's gotten a lot of complements about how it makes her look younger. :) read more

If they can't bother to return messages to schedule appointments, I'm going elsewhere. I don't have time to wait around for them to return phone calls. read more

Nicole's Brazilian Blowout is the best. She did a fantastic job, and the health and look of my hair are both great. She really took a lot o time with the little hairs that always seem to frizz first, and she also explained how to care for it and keep it looking good--without pushing products.
