Been to her a few times and each time, appreciate her patience in asking me what I want and genuinely listening. Because I'm willing to do literally zero maintenance on my hair, never owned a curling iron or straightening whatever, never owned any kind of hair gizmo, don't buy products ... and I have fine hair, so I imagine it might not be the most fun to cut my hair. But I love the results she gets. Each time I go in with an idea or random web photo or this time, with an AI generated look. She very quickly identifies patterns in the photos and knows exactly what she's doing. She''s efficient and swiftly gets the job done, each time I've loved the look I've left with, and according to my husband, she's "an artist," lol :-) The setup is modernized so that can set up an appt. Online through a portal (apparently), though I've never used that feature, preferring instead, to text her directly. Her fees are reasonable. I also love the interior vibe, e.g. they don't play loud music, it's not thumping loud. Before deciding on this salon, I called a few other places and I could hear either heavy metal or loud rock music, as if it were a damn nightclub. I'm too old for that crap and my ears can't take it. I love the calm ambience of this place, making it more relaxing. Street parking is plentiful around here and conveniently located in downtown SM (next to the Ravioli House). Dayna rocks :-)!

Let me tell you that this place was the MOST I've ever paid for hair coloring and balayage in my life and I've gone to Master hair colorists at luxury salons in the bay area too. Did the prices for hair products increase with Trump too??!? Sheesh. They were nice, talked me through the right shade for the balayage according to my skin tone and then she proceeded to take out a calculator to show me the cost. I was pretty shocked to see the cost, but I already made arrangements to get my hair colored that day so I begrudgingly agreed to proceed. Maybe I should have negotiated or asked if that total included tip? My hair is medium length and layered and the ash blonde/brown came out really nice, but I am still kicking myself for paying this much. I would have expected a nice head massage, complimentary tea or something for paying this much with a balayage, but it was a professional balayage with basic service/experience.
