    Huge Chattanooga sandwich.
    Nick K.

The bed bagel sandwich and the biggest that I ever had ! Pictured is the Chattanooga sandwich which is so big that my table mate and I ended up taking half home. It was an everything bagel, toasted with avocado, cream cheese, bacon, tomato, and probably something else that I forgot. We came out of our way after reading the Yelp write ups and they are accurate.

As a lover of nyc bagels I was a little worried but wanted to give them a chance. I ordered a dozen of bagels online and when I arrived at 6:02am they were ready. The staff was very friendly and they were accommodation with any request I had. The hash browns were fresh, super crispy and delicious. The bagel was thick fluffy and everything I could have expected. The coffee is self serve and they have 2 different options. Of course I tried both and both were tasty. The space is very cute and family friendly with a kids corner so adults can enjoy their conversation while the little ones play. Over all this place is a must visit. When I arrived 2 mins after opening everything was available, hot, and fresh. I have nothing to offer besides my money as they nailed the experience at every turn!!!

Ok this place is AWESOME. The vibes are great, it's a really well decorated bagel shop and well-run!!! The girl checking me out was so kind, as was the rest of the staff! I got just the BEC, which was really great! The bagel was crunchy on the outside and soft/warm on the inside!!! Thoroughly impressed.

So, if you've lived in NYC, or any decent-sized city up north, you know how challenging it can be to find a decent, let alone good bagel, outside of that general geography. Well Chattanooga, if you want to know what a "real" bagel should taste like, you've hit the motherlode. Welcome Brothers Bagel! This morning was my second trip, as I visited also on the Sunday preceding Thanksgiving Day. A word of caution if you want to visit on a weekend, the place will be slammed, with the line extending out the door into the lot, and while the staff is incredibly proficient, you better be prepared to wait, as clearly the locals are willing to do. I waited patiently in queue talking to one of those locals as he explained the intricacies of the operation, time well spent. My lox bagel on an everything bagel was outstanding. This is a standard bagel product though, calls for a return trip for further validation. Today though was the real test, something a bit more unique in flavor profile. My choice today was the "Chattanoogan" on are you ready for this, a mashed potato bagel. The recipe, egg, bacon, sharp white cheddar, tomato, avocado, arugula, chive cream cheese and "Hoff sauce". Now, who knows what Hoff sauce is, but it was a nice complementary flavor, but here's the real callout for me, every place else is going to give you head lettuce, but arugula, now that really adds something! What a great breakfast sandwich! I opted to go regular coffee versus a custom espresso drink, good choice, good coffee, both blends. Smart touch with the computerized list where you can track your orders process until completion. Here's an even better one though, the owners working the register taking your order, as well handling the final customer engagement at order delivery. Great touch and oh so smart!

We visited Brothers Bagel today, the service was fantastic and the bagels were delicious. They have a variety of rotating special bagels depending on the day of the week. Their specialty schmears are also sooooo good--especially the scallion schmear which was my favorite. For all the people commenting about the amount of cream cheese, the menu at the front actually lists your options where you can choose the amount of spread--light, regular, or heavy cream cheese. Sadly, we scarfed our bagels down so fast that I didn't even think of getting a picture. Trust me though, everything we got was so good! We're going to try and squeeze one more visit in before we start our drive back to the PNW.

Finally got the chance to try this place. $19 for two bagels (one cream cheese and the other BEC), one bottle water and a small coffee. Not terrible, but I can imagine this gets pricey for families. We went on a Sunday around 9 and were able to get a table and not wait too long. The Asiago cheese bagel was great and appreciate how they serve them already cut. The everything bagel with cream cheese was really hard to bite into and wasn't served toasted as requested. Also the cream cheese to bagel ratio seems to depend on who is making the food. Overall we'll probably be back but not sure it'll be a destination place.

So! Just like everyone else I am so excited for this much needed niche to be filled. I think that Chattanooga has a lot of things but a good bagel place is so welcome. As someone who has lived in a lot of places, NY included, I was/am very excited for this addition. Pro: -The building is really cute, they have indoor seating and a little area for kids. -They have a good amount of options bagel-wise and they already seem to be rotating in different ones from time to time. -They offer sandwiches as well that looked really good. Decent amount of filling. -The entire staff is really friendly and helpful. -The bagels themselves are really good! Great crust, amazing chew. Everything you want in a bagel. Cons -The waittttttt. I am so glad they are so busy but if you get there anytime after 7am you can anticipate a 45+ min wait. I have been here 4 times and have only gotten bagels twice(by getting there at 6am) because the wait is unreal. There really isn't a stop in grab something real quick on the way to work quite yet. You can order online...sometimes. I have gotten the "not taking online" orders note from their website a few times. They also have 2 registers but I have only ever seen one in use except one time when they first opened, they had two operating. I'm hoping they still stay busy of course, just a bit frustrating. -The parking leaves much to be desired. There aren't a ton of places and the business on the otherside of them already has blocked their lot off. Again not an issue unless it's past 7am then good luck!

Growing up in the northeast, we had plenty of delicious, flavorful bagels. When we moved south, it was one of the things we missed. We were thrilled when Bagel Brothers opened with flavors similar to where we grew up! This adorable bagel, coffee and sandwich shop has a line around the restaurant and sometimes out the door. They just opened, so they may still be working the kinks out. Plenty of seating and even a space for the kids to draw on chalk boards. Definitely worth checking out, but get there early!

This was such a nice place to grab a breakfast sandwich! It has plenty of indoor seating but the wait for the food wasn't bad. Only issue is parking is limited. The food was fantastic tho! So many options to pick from! I will be coming back and ordering maybe different varieties. The workers were playful and so kind and I just can't wait to see what else they will do! Definitely come here!

This is such a great place for breakfast and lunch! It's also very baby and toddler-friendly. As a mom of two little ones, I find it challenging to enjoy a meal out, so having a play area for kids is incredibly helpful! My kids love it here, and I do too!

Delicious bagels with plenty of sweet and savory options for both the bagels and the cream cheese. The service is fast and friendly. It does get busy here, but they do their best to stay on top of it. Come early if you want a place a sit and eat. The restaurant is very family and kid friendly. There are toys and a play area for kids as well as stools in the bathrooms for kids. There is a ramped entrance and space and maneuver inside and around tables. Bathrooms are single stalls with room to enter and maneuver a wheelchair no issues. Grab bars on the walls as well. Very inclusive space for families and people with disabilities. I am quite impressed.

Bagels were excellent, both the Asiago and everything bagels. We only waited a few minutes before ordering and finding a seat. They were busy but service was quick and efficient. Definitely coming back

Since it was our first visit and everything on the menu spoke to us, she helped steer us in the right direction. I ended up ordering the pistachio croissant, and honestly... I'd go back for that alone. It was warm, huge by croissant standards, and absolutely heavenly. I even grabbed another one to take home because Future Me deserved a little happiness too. We also tried the raspberry lemon danish, which was a delicious combo, but the pistachio croissant stole the show without breaking a sweat. We started with the poutine, and while it wasn't the traditional version I've had before, it was incredible. Instead of cheese curds blocks, it came with pulled pork and melted cheese, and somehow it just worked. Comfort food with a little Southern flair. For breakfast, we had the ham and cheese omelet with breakfast potatoes. It was exactly what you want it to be--classic, satisfying, and impossible to regret if that's your usual order. I also tried the Liquid Gold juice. Their juice selection is impressive, but I may have accidentally found my forever order on the first try. It was so refreshing, with just a hint of ginger. For a hot drink, I highly recommend the London fog. I'm not usually a tea fan but if you don't want coffee, this is an excellent option. Before we left, we picked up some of their salted caramels to go, and they make the perfect little gift... assuming you have enough self-control not to eat them all in the car. The vibe here is upscale southern diner. One of the signs on the wall said, "All are welcome, but you need to act right," and honestly, that's the kind of life advice we could all use. I also really appreciated that parking was free. In Chattanooga these days it's hard finding a place where you don't have to scan a QR code, download an app, and pay to park just to eat. Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Milk & Honey is absolutely worth a visit...and if you're debating the pistachio croissant, stop debating and just order it. Your only regret will be not getting a second one.

Now for the most important part of this review. While enjoying brunch, I witnessed something I never expected to see: a baby goat riding around the restaurant in a pet stroller. At that moment, I realized Chattanooga may be one of the most pet-friendly places I've ever visited. Between the great food, kind staff, and unforgettable people-watching opportunities, Milk & Honey ended up being one of our favorite brunch stops of the trip. We didn't know and went straight to outdoor seating, which worked out because we got a table and about a minute later we figured out the ordering process. I ordered the chicken salad croissant for my wife, then the California club for myself and then I had to order quiche Lorraine for the table. I had filtered tap water for my drink and my wife had a can of Diet Coke with a slice of lemon and ice in a cup, provided. Service was pretty quick, between our order placement and table delivery it was 7 minutes. The quiche was custardy inside with a delicious hint of caramelized shallots to go with the bacon and cheese/egg filling. The bacon did not overwhelm. The crust was perfectly baked and a nice flakey crust. The accompanying arugula and onion salad dresses with oil and vinegar and seasonings was an excellent pairing of freshness with the richer quiche. This is a big hit, as expected when advertised on the menu as "available until sold out." The California Club was on 6 grain toasted bread with an avocado spread and aioli, bacon, turkey, tomato and lettuce. I really liked the balance of each component in this sandwich, such that nothing dominated the flavors and each distinctive was individually identifiable in the contribution to the whole sandwich. The portion was just right. The chicken salad was also good, but was the bronze medal winner compared to the other two. The croissant was flaky, but not too much. The chicken salad had just a hint of lemon and was not overwhelmed with aioli, just the right balance. This was a fantastic meal. We liked this so much, we chose to buy two loaves of bread to go, a Chattanooga Sourdough and a garlic Parmesan and also a 5 lb bag of in house ground bread flour. I need one of these in Greenville, SC, my hometown. Last thing to note, you bus your own table and there is a dish basin nearby the outside dining area in which to place your dishes. This was an excellent lunch spot. The staff were also friendly and patiently helpful. This is a must visit spot when visiting or living in Chattanooga!
