Nieves De Garrafa is operated from a single family home with a white picket fence in Chula Vista, so driving up I was a little confused until I saw the big signs for scoop pricing. There were lawn games like oversized Jenga and Tetris Tumblr, and places to sit in the shade and also sun. Ordering and being served was pretty quick, I think we were in and out in 5 minutes. I got a double scoop, Limon on top of Mango, topped with tajin, chamoy, and one more thing which I forgot. It was DELICIOUS!!! The consistency was soOooOooo smooth, soft, and silky!! I actually really like this place better than Tocumbo specifically because of the consistency. It's like silky sorbet packed with natural flavors which is perfect for these hot summer days. If they were closer to where I live I would be back daily in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this spot!!

Once I got here, I just messaged them on IG and placed my order. If you know you're coming here in advance I'd recommend msging them before so they have it ready when you come. They have good flavors and don't taste overly sweetened. Their prices are affordable and not overpriced at all. They take multiple forms of payment and also do events as well. I look forward to when they will have guava!! The small 1 cup is perfect for small kids or to sample different flavors! I appreciated them giving extra spoons/napkins/chamoy when you order pints/liters! Definitely will be ordering more once I go through my liter of mango!

A gem tucked away. If you love a good authentic nieve de garrafa this is your spot. The nieve is so refreshing, you can tell it's natural and none of the artificial or syrup flavorings. I've tried the tamarindo, limón, and Jamaica and all were delishhhhhh! I even bought a pint of the limón and after I stored it in the freezer and let it thaw for 20-30 min (as instructed), it was almost like it was just freshly made.

We love this place so much! My family and I have tried just about every flavor including the special drops and you can't go wrong with any of them. The employees made ANOTHER excuse in how the manager isn't in etc. To the MANAGER I strongly recommend training your employees. Especially when there is a simple mistake on a customer's order.

The Clamato snack was similar just with the added clamato juice minus the chips.
