Sadly, they didn't really work out for him and I came today to return them. The customer service is so friendly and fast. And when we bought stuff a few days ago we had to we were helped quickly. I was in the store about 30 minutes this morning and nobody came up to ask me if I needed any help or if I had any questions. Been interested in getting some pants for my husband, but I just didn't see what I wanted on the display. The store was clean and I'd be willing to go back again. They have disc golf supplies and discs and that's pretty cool.

Not only was it cheaper at Big 5 but they were helpful and I was happy to support a local in-person business rather than Amazon or another online retailer. I think I got a better quality item at Big 5 for approximately 60% of what it cost through Amazon so I was very pleased! Not only did they have sporting goods stuff but also shoes, slippers, clothing, pool toys, and even some little plushie toys. I've become too accustomed to ordering stuff online but this was a nice reminder of the importance and convenience of having local brick & mortar stores too!

The ends were not a standard 2 inch. So I came back yesterday to find a solution. He asked me to trade in the Bar in question , gave me a 60 pct credit on original purchase price , I bought another used curl bar with a military Discount with the stops included. So a better bar , complete for Less net $$ than new collars on EBay. And I could make sure it all fit. He said he would deal with the other bar and figure out a way to make it right later on. Over the years, however, these stores have become much less desirable. For example, this specific one carries an abundance of merchandise from a small handful of franchises. Granted, winning franchises sell t-shirts, hats, jerseys and other products much faster and in larger numbers than teams who are mired in mediocrity or are perennial losers, but there are certain franchises that are still highlighted in this store and they haven't been good in several years (i.e., The Dallas Cowboys, LA Lakers). Also, 99% of this stuff is ridiculously overpriced and in the realm of online wholesale, it's not all that difficult to find the exact same items at a fraction of the cost. There is no way I am ponying up the cost for an authentic NBA jersey at Just Sports when I can obtain an identical product without thinning out my wallet. On top of that, over the years, the staff seems like nothing more than an apathetic group of high school / college students that have their mind on something completely unrelated to work. Not that I can blame them, because working in sports retail is a thankless job mired in monotony and stagnancy. I may return periodically to check their clearance section or to see if they have a sale on hats, but I will continue to purchase the vast majority of my online sports goodies throughout various online wholesalers.

There was no line and the fingerprinting tech was ready to go. The bathroom to wash your hands in before and after was kept clean and nice. The tech who did my fingerprints was gentle and clearly understood what he was doing. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I never thought I would have such a pleasant experience getting fingerprinted, but I did! I highly recommend!

Took my rear wheel in to get the hub body changed out out of personal perference for a nice…read morefreewheel and more engagement. Dropped it off on a Friday during my lunch with the freehub of my choice and was told they would need to measure spokes and would go from there as far as how long it would take to finish. Called the following Thursday to see how it was going as I haven't been riding because I don't have a spare wheel and they hadn't even looked at it. Almost a full week... the following day they looked at it and had to order spokes which is fine but knowing it took almost a whole week to look at the wheel just to find out it'll take a few more days for spokes to come in sucked. (Meanwhile i have still been without a wheel this entire time and have been riding indoors but that's very different then being on the bike you want to ride!) it's now been two weeks since I initially dropped it off and still have not gotten a call about it being done. I had to go and call them once again to check on it, spokes came in the following Wednesday, called the next day and was told it's not done yet but I'll get a call when it is. It's now Friday evening two days after the spokes arrive and nothing... point being if you are interested in upgrading your bike and love having things done in a timely manner don't come here. They did however lend me a wheel to use in the meantime which is deserving of an extra star.. otherwise barely a 1 star. My main issues... 1- took almost a whole week to even look at the wheel I dropped off. (Just a wheel to measure spokes) 2- seems like there is no rush to get the item done and not considering how long the customer is out a main component on a bike they may love to ride. 3- no initiative to communicate. Had to call multiple times just to understand what point in the job my wheel was in.
