According to their website and marketing, they only use homemade dough from organic Italian double-zero flour and cook their pizzas on an authentic Italian pizza stone. They also offer calzones, wings, subs, and a few starters, but we had to go with the pizza (you can also build your own pizza). The Fig & Prosciutto caught our eye immediately, and it did not disappoint! Service was a little slow, but it was a busy cold evening and it was clear we weren't the only ones with the idea of warming up with a pizza. Ordered a pizza over the phone. Waited 30 minutes before driving over. Arrived and had to wait another 45 minutes before. Dined in with another couple. Took over 20 minutes to place our order. Our friend's pizza came out about 40 minutes later. They ate and then our pizza came out about 30 minutes after that. Pizza is good but service needs work. Discovered we can drive 20 minutes down the road for a larger pizza for less price and it's better! Sorry Night Train! We gave you a second chance! read more

Got a carnivore with ricotta cheese to go. Overall, it was a good experience. The bartender was very friendly and allowed me to sit at the bar while I waited, even though I didn't order anything to drink. It took about 25 minutes for the pizza to come out. Unfortunately, it was not piping hot at that moment, and we had to reheat it when I got to the house (five minutes away). The crust was tasty but not as thin as I was expecting, which made it chewier than I prefer in a New York crust. The sauce did not have much bite to it and kind of melted with the cheese. I usually order a pepperoni the first time I try a new pizza place, but my Bride and I were craving Italian sausage and ham. The Italian sausage was excellent, but it overpowered the pepperoni and ham. Next time I will ask them to split a pepperoni and Italian sausage half-and-half so that is on its own. My Bride commented that the ham was good. They are still in a soft opening through Saturday according to the phone message I got when I tried to call in an order ahead of time. Note that the online ordering is next day only. I tried both of these options so I would not have to wait at the restaurant, but neither worked. Dropped in for a quick dinner on a Wednesday night. Grabbed a bottle of wine and ordered an appetizer of Chicken wings dusted with their Ranch dusting. Absolutely my new favorite wing flavor! Also ordered up a Caesar salad with Jalapeño croutons..What?? this was an incredible salad. Then we decided on one of their Pizzas, The supreme!! It was also delicious, great crust, perfectly done! The bartender was just delightful, quick friendly, very helpful. We love to sit at the Bar at most locations when we just drop in and this evening it was the perfect choice. Night Train Pizza had a good vibe to us , busy kitchen bustling dinning room. We will continue to drop in and drag our own guests in too. Tried two more time since my last review. One time was a few weeks ago on a Sunday afternoon. Excellent as always and great service. This past Mother's Day we had all the kids meet us there. Again, perfect! Service has been excellent. For Mother's Day, we ordered 4 pizzas and between us all 5 beers along with soft drinks and the total was a whopping(I say that in jest) $100. Service was excellent and our thanks to Carla who also brought out knots since the amount of pizzas was taking a little time. We will use Night Train Pizza as our go to place from now on. read more

Great pizza ! Eat in or order to pick up , either is great choice . You can order online with ease. When you order online , you can pick -your pick up time which I find a REALLY nice option! Night Train is connected to the LUCKY HARE restaurant. It has a cozy neighborhood Bar feel . It has a full bar and sports televisions you can have a beer and/or drinks and wait for your pizza or have your pizza there .... it is nice to have a place so close if you live anywhere close to Big Canoe ! read more

Finally a decent pizza close by! Ordered online and the pizza was ready at the exact time they said it would be. Easy online ordering, just walked in and picked it up. I ran into some friends that were dining in. My friend's husband ordered the fig and prosciutto. He had the biggest smile on his face, he was definitely in his happy place. I will try that one next time. Ordered the Omnivore and the Margherita, both were excellent! Crust was cooked perfectly and the toppings were excellent. I was able to put down 3 slices, as the crust is not super thick. Needed some Italian dressing to dip my crust into. Not because it was dry, I just like dipping my crust! I love cold pizza and this hit the spot this am. I know there is a four cheese pizza on the menu, I was hoping for more of a Bianca pizza with no sauce and blobs of Ricotta on top. There were a few open tables when I went in last night but the bar area was full. My friends said there was a constant stream of customers coming in. I know it's only their second weekend being open. There will be glitches but so far I'm a fan! This will be my go to from now on! As far as the pricing, $24 for the Omnivore and $17 for the Margherita, seems a little steep for a 14" but it's so convenient and pizza is my love language. I am a self proclaimed pizza snob and so happy to find a place where it's done right! read more

Pizza is great. Service not so bad. But when they mess up and they do mess up there is no good recovery. Ordered two pizzas, one ready on time the other not. 30 minutes later the other pizza shows up with the reason the first one was burned. Thanks for not giving me a burned pizza but having waited over and hour a "sorry" doesn't cut it. Find other customer service ways to recover from these mistakes. Perhaps a $5 or $10 off your next order. That would keep the customer coming back and maybe take some of the sting out of waiting 1:10 hours. read more

They don't answer their phone to order take out. They try to direct you to a website that can be confusing. You don't answer a phone then you really don't want my business. Thank you for your response but it doesn't change my opinion. You don't offer a call in take out. When we tried your website we tried to order a simple pepperoni pizza. It then asked us if we wanted mozzarella. I thought that came on a pepperoni pizza? It didn't ask if we want extra mozzarella. I don't need the hassle. And that is a shame as I live close and visit Lucky Hare restaurant next door. Owner declined. The Pizza is really really salty and way way overpriced. This place will make it due to their location and lack of other options for the area. Ordered two pizzas for takeout on 4/3/24. Both were undercooked and server had difficulty sliding pizzas from baking tray to box. By the time we got the pizzas to the house in BC the bottoms were firmly stuck to the cardboard. They say they make their own dough but I found the crust to be bland and uninspiring. If they didn't say differently I would have thought this was a low quality commercial frozen crust. They're new so time to improve. Maybe next time the product will be better. My husband and I visited Night Train Pizza on Thursday evening, June13th. Pizza was very good with fresh ingredients and beer was cold! Our bill total was $44.94 and we left a tip of $10.00. Much to my surprise, when the charge hit my account an additional $10.00 had been added to my bill, totaling $64.94. I have called and left a message at the restaurant, and written the owner, J Cornelius three private messages. With each message I left my name, phone number and card information, so he could check the night ends batch to verify. To date I have not received any word. This was our first visit, and probably our last. Update 6/18/24 - Please check your Linkedin account, Yelp Account and Facebook messenger! Yes, Chloe did a great job taking care of us, the service was never a complaint, she was friendly and her service was spot on. But, why would someone add an additional ten dollars to her tab? This is not a good business practice. It drives customers away. We have always driven to Jasper to eat pizza, and anticipated the opening of your restaurant, which is 10 miles closer. The food was very good and we had commented on how your restaurant would be our new go to place. But to have someone add an additional ten dollars to a tab after we had signed the ticket leaves a bad taste. Thank you for refunding the $10.00 to my charge card. We will definitely try the restaurant again, but pay in cash. I have never been comfortable with letting my credit card walk away from a table. I tried take out from Night Train Pizza last night. I got a plain cheese pizza and it was delicious. I ordered on-line which was easy and convenient. If you like super thin crust and crispy pizza, which I do, then this is the place for you. The pie was cooked perfectly and the right balance of cheese to sauce. We ate at Night Train Pizza July 25th and it was outstanding. A great new restaurant in the neighborhood, and I have to say, the pizza was outstanding!
