    Wine pairing

We loved our experience. The owner was so nice and welcoming. We has a tasting reserved but noticed the vault and fell in love with it. She immediately moved into the vault since it was open. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Grate wine. Excellent pairing. Great building history and conversation. The environment stimulates both elegance and a it of forbidden desire. Classy, mystery, good company and wine, what's not to love?

Erosion has truly created something special and inclusive for our community. One of my favorite things is the flexibility: you can grab a flight of wine, beer, OR ice cream (yes, ice cream flights!) to share or enjoy on your own. There's literally something for every mood, every palate, and every friend you bring with you. Their events are always a blast, line dancing nights, trivia, seasonal pop-ups... it brings so much life to St. Helena. I love that they host these on a monthly basis because it gives locals something fun to look forward to. The space is always clean, inviting, and has such a good vibe. The staff is consistently friendly, helpful, and genuinely makes you feel at home. Erosion is small, family-owned, and family-run, and you can feel that level of care and pride in everything they do. And let's talk about the food, I'm obsessed with the wraps and the paninis, and the queso frijole is a must. Simple, delicious, and perfect with a beer or a glass of wine. Erosion has truly become a go-to spot for locals and visitors alike. It's relaxed, fun, unique, and exactly what St. Helena needed. If you haven't stopped by yet, do it, you'll understand why this place has such a loyal following.

The tasting room is brightly lit with tons of natural light and they are always playing the right soundtrack. Only took one visit to make a member out of me! I have never disliked a single thing they've poured and their events are top notch! Stop by for a tasting and be sure you grab a cappuccino on your way out the door to your next adventure. Don't miss the food truck either!!! Not a bad thing on the menu. Worth a stop next time you're in Napa.

It is a 5-course luncheon with wine pairings hosted in their private enoteca overlooking the vines, complete with a personal attendant and private chef to curate the experience. The food was delicious, the wine selection was superb--including their Howell Mountain Cabernets (Cold Springs, Croquet, and Cima)--and the private room was the perfect intimate space. It was such a relief to have a private area where I didn't have to worry about disturbing other guests while having an infant in tow! However, I'm giving this experience 4 stars instead of 5 because it felt surprisingly generic for a winery that typically excels at personalization. In advance of our reservation, I was sent a questionnaire requesting our music preferences and celebration details, but neither were acknowledged during the visit. Why ask for that information if it isn't going to be used? It felt like a missed opportunity to make the experience truly magical. Overall, it was a good experience with top-tier food and wine, but I expected a bit more of that "Clif Family magic" when it came to the details.

His knowledge, personality, and genuine customer service are second to none. I usually never spend over $100 on a bottle of wine, but Bart's recommendations and the way he made us feel valued had me wanting to spend even more. He never pressured us--he simply listened to what we liked and guided us to wines we absolutely loved. Exceptional service like Bart's is what keeps people coming back. If you're visiting V. We bought a panini sandwich and $9 bag of Torres brand, egg flavored potato chip imported from Spain. Both were delicious. There's a huge cheese section and it made me want to try so many. . The cashiers at the wine purchasing area were not so helpful but the wine guy was really nice and gave me suggestions on how to store the bottle of Cab I bought which I plan to hold onto for awhile. Aging will diminish the tannins in the bottle, he said. Their bags and boxes might need to be fortified. I saw a woman with a box of 4 bottles where the box started to fall apart on her. The bag I had for the $60 bottle I bought didn't feel that secure so I cradled it with both hands as we left. Prices have clearly gone up for the wines. Hope to be back.
