I really wanted to like this tour but it was slooow going and the history/ghost stories were minimal. A tour we did last year was much more thorough in the history facts and spooky stories. Throw in the speaker's obvious political agenda commentary and it made for a pretty unenjoyable night. One assumes a pub crawl comes with at least one drink at each bar you stop at since that's how most pub crawls are. In the very least, I've seen some with discounts. This pub crawl had none of that. On top of the $70 for two tickets, you're paying for all your own drinks. Also be aware that the tour doesn't end where you begin. You will have to walk the mile back to your car at Green Door. Maybe a different tour guide would have made all the difference. I'm giving two stars because she was nice but this experience way way overpriced for what you get. read more

There policy states cancellations before 25 hours of the event are no charge. We cancelled 28 hours before the event and they offered a voucher for a future tour. Guests were from out of the country and this was not suitable. Asked for the manager to call me and no call was received. Called the credit card company to cancel the charge and learned this business is still trying to charge us. Very unprofessional, would never use this company for any event. read more

All right kiddies, settle down and listen up. We're about to talk about some serious ishhhhhh right here. I've lived in the dallas area for more than 20 years, and in downtown dallas for about two years, so I thought I had a pretty good idea about the ghost stories in this area. Boy was I wrong. I bought two tickets to this for a date and it turned out to be one of he most fun dates I've been on in YEARS. I have done ghost tours in New Orleans and in the Fort Worth Stock Yards, and honestly this one was the best I have been on. The evening started out at Frankie's bar in downtown dallas, an establishment I've been to many times. Once or twice I've been in their underground area and had an uneasy feeling but didn't think much of it. No spoiler's here but I will say I now know what I was feeling. The heeby jeebies. Kellie Ann, Kerri Ann? I'm seriously sorry I forgot, I had a lot of Jameson last night, but whatever your name actually was, you were an AMAZING tour guide. Charming, smart, knowledgeable. She knew tons of info that was clearly scripted, but also knew lots of off the books secrets about various hauntings around the entire city that we didn't go to. A few VERY fun hours later we wrapped the tour up at Tavern and I will never look at the locations we stopped the same way again. Ghosts a plenty, and there's seriously one place I never ever plan to go back to. read more

Did this on Halloween and what a blast it was. Mercedes was amazing. Now if you're trying to "see ghosts" and all that then this isn't the type of thing. Mercedes knew a lot of history with the buildings and people mentioned on the tour. She really knows how to keep you engaged and entertained. The only downside was the bars were/are busy during this time so we had to wait a bit while everyone was getting a drink so the tour started at 7:30 and ended around 11:30 (I'm not upset about it). Meant we got some more cool stories from her. My boyfriend and I are new to Dallas so this was fun to learn about Dallas history. read more

I had a great time with our host Keri-Anne! She knew the history of the buildings and the city and was a great story teller. Her stories of personal hauntings and sightings in the area were enough to spook several of our tour group members. I would absolutely recommend her. The cost doesn't get you any free/discounted drinks but it does get you first of the line treatment at some of the crowded places so you can get in and out of the bar quicker. This tour was so much fun!!! Whether you are a fan of ghost stories, Dallas history, or just pub crawls, this is for you. Our guide Mercedes was very prepared and knowledgeable, giving wonderful historical backstories to some of the oldest buildings downtown, including some really creepy tales. We went to four different locations, with ample time to visit the bar for a drink and settle in for a story. The visit to the Adolphus Hotel alone was worth the price of admission. I highly recommend this tour, for tourists and Dallas natives alike. read more

This ghost pub crawl was a great time! Our guide, Mercedes, had obviously done her research and gave personal accounts of weird things that happened on tours. Not only did we learn about haunted pasts of the downtown Dallas area but also about the history and architecture of some of the oldest and original buildings throughout downtown.
