    CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA
    Michelle A.

This review is long overdue but hey as long as I get it done. We were luckily referred to Harwood Arms by the front desk of our hotel at check-in, which was conveniently within walking distance (~10 mins) and has a kitchen that's open late which was nice after a day of travel, later check-in and being hungry. It was a few days before Thanksgiving, there was a decent crowd in the bar and everyone including the bartender (who's name I now cant remember because I took so long to write this) were all very friendly and helpful. The bar was warm, cozy and decked out in Christmas decor (and cute bathroom wallpaper). Good beer selection, great food (I literally ate the tikka masala twice during our couple day trip) and they were conveniently open on Thanksgiving after the game and a fun shot wheel, which was both fun to partake in and fun to watch others do. We will definitely be back if we find ourselves back in Dallas.

We found free parking on the street a short distance. As we entered, Jade welcomed us so we sat at her bar. My daughter and I split Eggs Benedict and a Scottish Egg. It was my 1st Scottish Egg and it was incredibly delicious; so much flavor!! We were celebrating my daughter's birthday so she got a drink with a candle!! There was a Cincinnati Browns game on and a large fan group were cheering on the team so it was a bit loud but fun to watch the excitement. I will definitely be back for another Scottish Egg

Decent food, tasty drinks, and good service! Also really like their holiday decorations! We always have a good time at Harwood Arms, from game days to night outs, the vibe is great! The food is pretty good and hearty and the drinks are delicious! Would recommend!

I ended up here by sheer accident and it turned out to be the best way to end my night. My Fiance and I were greeted at the door by the most kind bouncer that we've ever met, Will. I came in looking for my keys, and he immediately jumped into action mode and said "we'll figure this out together". He grabbed his manager, Alicia, who was also so kind and helpful. They both went above and beyond to help me solve a problem that wasn't theirs. So once we recovered the keys, we figured we might as well stay and try some food! We got the garlic fries because they smelled phenomenal and they were great. The bartender who served us was also awesome. He was so quick and looked like he was making a mean drink for whoever ordered! We plan to return to try the fish and chips as they were sold out yesterday. Overall, we enjoyed the customer service here and the vibe was on point! Very spacious place with several booths for privacy. The prices on the menu were reasonable as well. We will definitely be back.

Wow what a neat concept ! I felt like I was stepping right back into a pub in Scotland from a trip I took once . Lots of great private seating and even a large outside patio. The staff was just right , checked in us often enough but didn't hover over us. The food was also delish. We tried the grinch dip off the holiday menu (spinach dip and pita) it was a large serving too! Tasted fresh(maybe a tad more pitas next time since the serving was so large)! It was a cold night so I took advantage of that and got the beef and barley soup .. it was also a nice size and fresh and tasty. Hubs got the fish and chips- it came with sauces and a cute bottle vinegar. He loved them(I stole a Few chips and they are fresh and made in house) We had a cocktail as well. They both were delicious and had a good pour in them I can't wait to go back and explore more in this area! Add it to the Love List!

Alright... first time here and in this area. My boss and I came in for a quick bit and watch the game. If you're new to this area or just here for business this place is perfect. Especially if your boss has been to London and other OG pubs. Please note that bar sitting is first come, so I highly suggest you get here early. If not... sit outside in the heat. TVs are on and games are coming in, but the food was really good. We decided to share some plates as we just got off a 4 hour flight. LK really suggested we get the Scottish eggs. And yes... it was really good. We also got the fish and chips along with the bangers and mash. I would highly recommend you try this. The upsetting part or dinner was being outside didn't allow us to get the best service. We waited for about 25-45 minutes before got any follow up after the meal was served. I hope the next time we come it's not like this. But the food is really good.

A gem of a pub experience right in the heart of Dallas. We popped in from shopping and this was such a great experience. Fun holiday decorations to get you in the spirit. The fish and chips and beers were amazing and I really felt like I was in a proper British pub. Will definitely go back soon!

Great environment. It was Christmas theme so that was nice. Loved the live band. Went with a big group so they were able to accommodate us. Food wise, I had the burger and it was a solid burger, nothing special. The garlic fries were incredible. Our waiter was a little rude. I'm giving a generous 4 stars. Given the option, this would be closer to a 3.5-3.8 star but still worthy of coming here. Would come back to try Fish and chips.

I drove 20+ miles to come to Harwood Arms for their Tuesday Trivia night that they falsely advertised on their website. Not only did they not have trivia tonight, they weren't even open. I pulled up to the restaurant and found it was completely closed. Thanks for wasting my time Harwood Arms.

Stopped by for a quick drink and bite! Delicious cucumber gimlet and to die for twice baked potato bites were delicious!!!! Service was good! The Christmas spirit was out, as it was fully decorated for the holidays! Can't wait to come back and try it for all courses!

I love this place. The drinks are stiff, the staff is amazing the crowd is always friendly and Gabby is one of the most friendly bat tenders I've ever met, plus the Shepards Pie is pretty delicious and they have a few of my favorite Tequilas, Lalo and El Tesoro!

Went here last night because we heard it was decorated for Christmas and you bet it was! The outside looked amazing and really made you feel like you were in a different country in a pub in the snow. The inside was also decked out amazingly. 10/10 did not disappoint. Our service was great. We were on the waitlist for under the amount of time the hostess told us and and waitress was attentive and nice! When you walk in, not only are you in awe of the Christmas decorations, but of how AMAZING it smells in there. I knew instantly it was going to be a good place for dinner since it smelled so incredible. I got the Patty Melt and it was great! The fries were amazing. I'm not a fan of skinny fries but the seasoning on them was incredible. My patty welt was huge and tasted just like I was expecting. Was also very flavorful. My friend got the fish and chips and said it was great as well, and the fry "chips" were great. Presentation wise the food looked amazing as well. The reason it loses a star is for our "Christmas" drinks. We ordered a "polar bear espresso martini" off the special holiday menu and I was so excited for it to be Christmassy in some way. Sadly, there was no "polar bear" aspect to it. We saw other drinks come in fun Christmas cups etc but sadly ours did not. This was my first time getting an espresso martini and it was also just horrible. There was no cream to it whatsoever which I heard it is supposed to have. I was pretty bummed since it tasted like straight vodka and coffee which I could have made at home and spared the very steep $16. All in all, food and decoration wise, this place is amazing! Definitely come for the Christmas time. But beware of the polar bear espresso martini, as it is neither Christmassy nor enjoyable to drink.

    Fish and chips

Came here for Easter lunch/brunch with a friend. We're both Irish and were excited to see sausage rolls on the menu--only to be served kolaches instead, which are definitely not the same thing. Disappointed but still hopeful, I ordered the fish and chips. While the fish itself looked and tasted good, the "chips" were really just over-seasoned, thinly sliced potatoes--more like American-style chips, not the traditional thick-cut chips that should have come with the dish. Overall, a letdown.

Appetizer portions are particularly small for the cost. Price point looks appetizing until the plates come out

Great place, but there is bouncer with long hair that is very rude to everyone. He would yell at people to move in a non polite way.

The vibe is definitely English pub, but the expansive outdoor patio makes you feel like you're still in Texas. We stayed for a quite a while to watch several of the World Cup games. I had fish and chips and ordered a beer. The fish and chips were amazing: the fish particularly was fried and seasoned so well. I could've easily eaten another portion. I truly did not expect it to be as good as it was, especially as most of my fish and chip experiences in the US have left me wanting more. This was perfect! Service was surprisingly fast despite how busy the bar was. We had no issues finding seating outside and then moved indoors once space cleared out. Our server was super accommodating and even hooked us up with a table near the larger TV once that party cleared out. Another bonus is that this location has a huge, free parking garage, so super convenient if you don't want to take the DART.
