I went here for a quick bite to eat before a movie showing and the food was delicious. I ordered the fish and chips and our server was kind and the food came out quickly. At first we were seated inside which was getting loud quickly, but we moved outdoors where it was much quieter. The breading of the fish was great but the Cod was rather bland itself. However the fries were fantastic!

This spot has withstood the test of time. Here when I left Dallas. Here when I moved back. Still here post-pandemic. That speaks volumes. Vibes as close to an abroad pub you'd find in the Uk- this side of Big D. Great for a few watching a sporting event-ie the Stars, Rangers, Mavericks and so on. Also chill for a one on one hang or group's birthday party. I appreciate the consistency of service. Plenty of drink options from drafts to specialty cocktails. Be mindful of the price jumps though. My friend wanted to try a Brandy Alexander. It wasn't on the menu = premium cost. Always ask about prices/note the menu, if budgeting. Plenty of parking located in Mockingbird station. Note- the elevators are slow af. Cheers!

Beautiful day for sitting out on there large patio overlooking Big D. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Food was good shared chef salad and chicken salad sandwich both were good.

It was Saturday night and the vibe was a bit flat. This happens and I'm a person with high expectations on the friendliness scale so maybe it was just me. The bartenders just didn't seem to be very happy. I was happy to see such a great NAB selection and my favorite Guinness. Got the fish sandwich. Looked great! Good bun. The fish was overcooked inside of its soggy breading jacket drenched in mayonnaise. I ate half of it. Fries are good! Not bad for a stop by if you're in the area but wouldn't make a trip for it.

The Londoner has replaced Trinity Hall in Mockingbird Station. That was a shame because Trinity Hall had been there for ages and was one of my favorite bars in Dallas. Alas, it succumbed to the effects of the pandemic and although it tried to reopen as the pandemic waned, it did not make it. The Londoner is British-themed (hence the name). The new owners did not change much if anything inside. The inside looks like an English pub, and since I have been to England/London almost 10 times I know. Same dark interior, same heavy wooden booths. There may have been a few more TVs than what I remember. What has changed is that Trinity Hall was a bar with an extensive beer list that served good food. The Londoner now seems to be a restaurant that serves a few beers. The beer list is quite short and there are just a handful of genuinely English beers. Most of the selections were typical American beers you would find in any bar. I did not eat but my friend had fish and chips and they looked really good, not heavily battered or greasy. He said they were good. The menu looked roughly similar to what Trinity Hall had. We did not go for Happy Hour so maybe they have discounted beers, I don't know. My bottle of Oatmeal Stout was $10 which is a bit pricey IMO. Our servers were friendly and efficient. I am not quite ready to embrace The Londoner in the way I did Trinity Hall, but I will likely return and maybe try some food.

We got a cheeseboard, but if I had to recommend one thing, definitely the fried mushrooms if you like mushrooms. They're huge and the spicy cilantro sour cream sauce is killer! We sat in the indoor/outdoor area, which was my fave. It can take a minute to flag someone down when it's busy, but that felt understandable for how busy they were. Easy place to settle into and lose track of time a bit--just drinks, conversation, and good food without overthinking it.

I came for "just one pint" and left three days later wearing someone else's sweater, speaking in a…read morequestionable accent, and convinced I'm 1/16th Irish on my mother's side (DNA test still pending). The Guinness is poured so perfectly it should be in the Louvre. The bartender, Austin (I'm pretty sure that's his real name and not just what he tells customers), has the patience of a saint and the sarcasm of a man who's been asked "Do you have anything like Guinness but less dark?" one too many times. Highlights: The fish & chips were so good I briefly considered converting to Catholicism just so I could thank God properly. The bathroom graffiti is poetic. "Roses are red, violets are blue, I came for a piss and met half the crew." - actual quote. Then you've got Hannah, who's basically the pub's chaos coordinator. She's got blonde hair that could guide ships in a fog and a laugh that echoes like a banshee having a great time. Don't sleep on Wes - He'll nod once, slide you your drink, and if you're lucky, mutter something profound like "Life's short, drink good stout." Then he disappears to polish glasses like he's auditioning for a monastery. Absolute mystery man, 10/10 enigma. And rounding out the crew is Paige, the wildcard. She's got stories that start with "Back in then..." and end with police chases, lost sheep, and at least one exploding still. She'll flirt with your grandma, roast your ex in three sentences or less. There is also this Asian guy that looks like a confused troll with blonde hair. He lives up to the saying once you go Asian it's amasian. Can't forget the blonde girl that's going through the Dallas legacy transition of bottle service to real estate. Shes as good at serving as she is selling real estate. These people run the bar like a well-oiled dysfunctional family. They banter with each other louder than the jukebox, remember birthdays you forgot you told them, and have an unspoken code: if you're having a rough night, they'll slide you a free shot and pretend it was a mistake. If you're being a gobshite, they'll roast you into next week without missing a pour.

It was a few days before Thanksgiving, there was a decent crowd in the bar and everyone including the bartender (who's name I now cant remember because I took so long to write this) were all very friendly and helpful. The bar was warm, cozy and decked out in Christmas decor (and cute bathroom wallpaper). Good beer selection, great food (I literally ate the tikka masala twice during our couple day trip) and they were conveniently open on Thanksgiving after the game and a fun shot wheel, which was both fun to partake in and fun to watch others do. We will definitely be back if we find ourselves back in Dallas.

My friend recommended this on his list of Irish Pubs around here, so I decided to give it a try. For a strip mall Irish Pub, it does take you into another world. Cool entrance that opens up to a horseshoe bar with tons of tables and booths. It was Trivia night, so they only had the Stanley Cup playoff on one TV. Sat down at the bar and ordered my Guinness and reviewed the menu. There were a couple of selections I was interested in (always gravitate to Bangers n' Mash), but went with the fish & chips with French Onion soup. Get these together, because the fish is delicious in the beef broth of the French Onion! It was good, though fish could've used a little more batter with the thick walleye filets. After we paid our bill with a credit card, I noticed that we were charged a 3% credit card fee. That was a first, and likely began in April since our last visit was on 3/24/26 and no credit card fee was assessed. Nowhere on the menu was it mentioned there would be a credit card fee, nor was it articulated by a bartender. That sort of fee makes me wonder what's going on in this establishment.
