The manager Matthew Hecka merely just glanced at her head and said they cannot service her. He did not listen to my sister and I after we told him how hard it is for us to bring our dog there as she is an extremely nervous and anxious dog and that they had previously canceled and rescheduled our previous appointment. . He offered no sympathy, understanding, or resolution for the situation after we begged and asked if they could meet us halfway so they can groom our dog. He just kept repeating over and over again they cannot service our dog. My sister and I literally have no idea how our dog got this small scratch that was bleeding. She may have scratched her head with her nails or bumped it on something right before her appointment. It was bleeding a bit yes but it was not a huge gash or gushing blood. I actually went to get a paper towel to wipe it off and it was gone. He still refused. We are so upset and disappointed because of how this was handled. Had he thoroughly examined our dog and at least try to meet us in the middle or try to schedule an appointment without us asking him or LISTEN and sympathize with us, I wouldn't have written this review. But instead he flat out denied our service and offered no sympathy or resolution.

We all had different ways of how to train him and it was causing a rift in the family. I was turned down by some trainers until I came across Jonathan Wong's page. He was local, he was fast to get back to me and he was willing to give us a chance after everything I told him. Kody still has a long way to go and I will continue with Jonathan as his trainer, but it is night and day after three months of training with Jonathan. He was dog and people aggressive, to the point we had to avoid them entirely. We can now go for walks, albeit we move opposite of any dog and can keep walking without any barking or pulling. He was always actively pulling on the leash and bad at recall. He is loose leashed now and responds with recall with our daughter. In the end I had to get use to the idea that Kody was a crate or muzzle dog when it came to large crowds or people in our home. I felt awful but Jonathan was so supportive and positive as I came to terms with it. I hope as we continue to train with Jonathan and Kody builds his confidence that soon things might change for him. Jonathan has such a kind soul and so encouraging when it comes to both us and Kody. I cannot thank Jonathan enough for what he has done for us. He left solid foundations for us to grow on. Kody is such a sweet and smart boy, and we always want the best for him. Jonathan truly is the best.

"Pet Food Express" - I expected it to only be about pet food when I first came! But this spot has…read moreeverything your dog needs from food (not the prescription kind though), toys, accessories, clothes, treats, supplements, etc. and it has become my favorite bath time location for our large forever puppy! The way it works is you purchase a token at the cash register (I think there's a usual deal of buy 3 get one free). I believe 1 token is about 20 minutes total of wash/soap, rinse and dry. They've got 5 bathing stations and one of them has its own wall that's convenient for those dogs that just can't be too close to another dog. They supply you with everything you need - each station has it's own water hose that includes the shampoo (3 different options), they also supply extra shampoo if you need it, aprons, and clean towels. The staff keeps this area very clean and are pretty quick to cleanup the stations after people leave to get it ready for the next person. It's probably busiest during the morning and there could be long lines but so far I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes and luckily my dog is more patient nowadays. There is also an emergency button that can be activated in case a dog decides to get slippery and escape the tub! I haven't seen it used (thankfully) but I think it's designed to ensure all doors are closed so the dog can't get out of the building. My interactions with all the staff at different occasions have all been very positive. Whether it was a question about baths, food, supplements, first aid, or treats they have all just been helpful, very knowledgeable, and always friendly!
