He scheduled a meeting with one of his people to see my home, to walk through and meet my pets. That was great, and reassuring. I scheduled three walks/visits per day for my dog and cat. I was given a daily journal of activities, feeding, demeanor and all around vibe of my babies. That was refreshing. Upon arrival back in the states, Kim reached out to me to make sure everything went well and make sure I didn't have any issue. That was very professional as well. This wasn't my first time boarding at Farrington's. We boarded our dog prior to the puppy here several times and have always had a good experience. Their prices are fair and the staff friendly. I've also seen the kennels the dogs stay in which are clean, large and offer indoor and outdoor access.

He was brought back to me and I asked about the sores (they also said he rolled in his pee). The staff mentioned he was calm when checked on, but he clearly struggled at first. They don't have cameras and house a lot of dogs so I get it but I believe this facility is better suited to dogs who are comfortable with traditional kennel environments, rather than sensitive dogs who need extra support or supervision. He was very nervous when brought in so I assumed he'd be monitored and given extra love. He also didn't eat any of his food (including peanut butter Kong). In hindsight it feels very sink or swim... I honestly don't know what happened but I also felt the accountability was low and there was no follow up by phone or email to see how he is doing. The wounds are a little more than superficial - he would've had to be rubbing on the same spot (metal cyclone) for 30 mins minimum to 2 hours (from what I read). I saw other dogs being walked and there were staff there but I wish I would've seen this before trying MY dog, specifically, there. He rebounded quickly but I can't bring him back as I don't trust his safety and well-being are supported.

The staff have always been very friendly to me, and make comments when I pick up Lucy that suggest they really care and have paid attention to her unique personality (cattitude?). They claimed to be unaware of the cut under his eye or the cut behind his ear. In fairness, I had previously boarded my dog here without incident, and always found Lauren, in particular to be very attentive. However, the response from the owner, Candice Harper when I collected my Dog was contemptible. They had also not sought to get my dog seen by a vet and just suggested he would 'be fine'. I don't ordinarily review anything, but people should be aware of the potential risks of boarding here. Negligent at best. Completely devoid of any duty of care based on this experience.

We needed someone to check our 3 cats daily when we go out of town. We set up an initial meet and greet for her to be introduced to our family of 2 dogs and 3 cats. You could tell instantly she was an animal lover by how she interacted with the animals. Each day when she comes to the house she feeds and plays with the cats, cleans litter boxes, brings in the mail, and any other special requests we have. She sends me pictures of all the cats and let's me know how they are doing. She has never cancelled or no showed for any dates that we have scheduled. She has even helped me out with watching them on very short notice. We have used her over 8 different times now. On one occasion, she also helped us take care of one of our cats that had an abscess from an infected tooth. After having our Vet take care of the abscess it was recommended that we put a warm compress on it daily. Julia did that for us since we had to travel out of town again. My animals are my family and I trust her completely with them!
