I remember being so frustrated that everyone else was so much stronger than me -- so much better than me. But Courtney reassured me that no one started the class being perfect; just like them, I would need to keep at it! So I did. I started doing bootcamps twice a week, and within a year I had dropped 20 lbs and gained so much self-confidence and strength. Eventually I moved up to going to indoor OTL twice/week plus bootcamp twice/week -- after two years of OTL I am so in love with this gym! I'm down 35 lbs total, 5 inches in the waist, but what I am the absolute happiest about is how healthy, strong and confident I am with myself. David is a fantastic motivator during his 6 a.m. classes and Courtney accepts nothing but your best during PM bootcamp! These two are PHENOMENAL coaches and you can tell they love their members and love what they do. It's no exaggeration to say the de Leons and Of the Lion Fitness has literally changed my life.

Kyle was extremely knowledgeable and inviting while walking our newbie group through what to expect. I had grown up playing competitive basketball with personal trainers and let's just just say I've been taught how to do a push up wrong my ENTIRE LIFE. Kyle not only corrected my form but my posture was also corrected along with getting my ASS kicked in the best way possible from this intro session. This gym breathes support for its members while concentrating on good to grow their clients into their strongest, happiest selves. I signed up! Going to start foundation classes this week and then ready to rock and roll into the regular classes to be my strongest, happiest self! I appreciated a couple of the modifications they offered since my lower back wasn't feeling 100%. The one thing I didn't like about this particular location is how many machines they jammed into the studio. I felt like the machines next to me were extremely close and you could barely walk in between each of them. I would have liked more room. If I were traveling again and [solidcore] was the only option for the type of Pilates I normally do back in Florida, then I would go again. However, if I had other options I would probably give them a try over [solidcore] in the future.

I was able to observe her command a class of about 25 maybe 30 people. The way she encouraged everyone and kept the energy so high was something you almost never get to see. I was so amazed watching the class run and how quick the time flew by. After, I spoke with a few members and they all had the same upbeat energy. I could tell this place has a very tight group. If you are looking for a CrossFit location central even if you are a bit north Austin. I would definitely say check this place out. I can't speak on pricing for the gym, but I feel like that is something personal. We all have different levels of value. To me having someone who can encourage me and help me feel 100 percent confident in myself and abilities is worth more then just paying for a convenient location. I always feel welcomed by the entire staff when I walk in. It never felt like there was a hierarchy of regulars, even as a first timer I got the same embrace which made it so much less intimidating. How do you have a "dog policy" but no kid policy? My daughter is way less of a legal liability than a Pit bull walking around the gym. Los Campeones and all of the Gold's locations allow her to chill on their couches and chairs so plenty of other good gyms to choose from at least!
