My dogs have never been to the groomers before and I was more than a little anxious - our German Shepard is pretty shy and our corgi can be challenging (think opinionated). Made an appointment at 1 for a simple grooming. Granted, our dog is high anxiety so we are used to it taking a little longer than normal. We were given a quote of 4 hours would be the total time for the grooming services( which is already pretty wild). We called them around 6 (5 hours in) and they told us that another dog was a big project, so he would be about another hour. Around 7:30 we showed up to Nikki's (30 minutes passed closing) and the receptionist very dismissively told us he would be another 10 minutes. Another 25 minuted passed and we were waiting outside, we went back in to check and they told us "oh he's done" but never bothered to let us know. 7 hours total time elapsed for a grooming. That is absolutely insane. While picking him up the receptionist made a comment asking if we were the ones that had our dog medicated to help with the stress of the grooming. I responded with yes, we treated him 7 hours ago and she was dismissive of that as well. 7 hours of poor communication and having our dog sitting there, no water. No bathroom breaks. And poor customer service when we showed up even when we showed up and we're still professional when I wanted to yell at them. No remorse, still charged us full price. They did a good job grooming him but seriously dropped the ball on this one. We won't be coming back. read more

They all sounded good but I decided to go with Nikki's due to a lot of great reviews and that when I called to ask questions they were very nice and answered my questions. One or two others that I called were a bit too busy to be as nice. They may still be good groomers but when you are having to find a new one for your fur baby, that is the most important thing. To listen and take time to answer detailed questions and concerns. That in itself, made me feel more comfortable so I made an appointment. Nikki's is really busy too but A+ on phone etiquette! Now, our fur baby came out looking great! Super clean and pretty, soft everything done the way we asked. During her hair cut, the lady gave her a kiss and she wagged her tail! Sweet! She even seems happy and in a good mood. We will be back! We have 2 more dogs at home too . . . When I called to check on her progress, the lady said she had just had a potty break. This was my first time coming here, the communication and the ladies where nice and understanding to what my dog was needing.

Nikki's gave my Australian labradoodle to another customer that was there to pick up her goldendoodle. Once I paid the clerk went to the back to get my dog and I could see them looking all over for him then they came and asked me his name again and went to the back again now there were a few people looking for him when the other customer came in and said I think I have somebody else's dog. That's when we realized my dog was in her car so we took him there in the parking lot while they brought her dog out to her. Blame seamed to be put on the desk clerk that she had been there for 6 months and had never done this before. All they did was apologize there in the parking lot. Waited to see if a personal call would come to rectify the situation and try to retain a customer. My sister went here with 2 doggies identical to mine- (I have siblings-) I was overcharged $90. For 1 dog, $85. For the other (my sister was charged $65. Week before )- I had appts and called in to check on Pups and was told 45 min till done. I headed over & waited 2 more hours parked in rear parking lot as instructed to do. I finally got text dogs were ready so I drove up only to be ordered to go back to the front, make a U-Turn and get in line behind the car that just drove up! I told Amy I've been waiting in the hot sun- she yelled if I wanted my dogs "to follow the rules!!" I was livid, made the U turn, and She returned telling me my dog had thrown up- Well, maybe if his private area hadn't been shaved raw and bleeding, he would have been fine. This place is wonderful! We bring our 70 lbs lab/shepherd mix dog here and they always do a wonderful job. On top of that their prices are some of the best in the Inland Empire. Most groomers have quoted us at $90 for our dog and Nikki's usually charge us around $60! Our pup has a lot of hair and they always do a great job deshedding her. Our dog, who can be quite anxious, always seems happy when we pick her up. They also are pretty quick. Usually it only takes a couple of hours to get a full grooming done. We drive from about 30 minutes away to bring her here and wouldn't go anywhere else! :) read more

I own 7 cats & 4 dogs ( Lol ) yup I do & each have unique trauma which makes my mom job harder. Each are happy & beautiful when I pick them up . They are never stressed when they leave & each cat is absolutely clean , de - shedded, nails are trimmed beautifully with no sharp edges. I took my 2 French Bulldogs there on Saturday for grooming. I have no idea what happened in those few hours? One of my bulldogs was missing hair on her head and there were a couple of red marks on her skin. When I asked what happened, I was told that she shed a lot when she was getting bathed?? She has been to many groomers, and nothing like this has ever happened. It looks like they shaved her head. To me, it appears that maybe another dog bit her and maybe they cut her hair down to treat the wounds? Why else would you shave a French Bulldog's head?? I wish I could give 0 stars!! read more

My wife dropped off our 30lb poodle mix at 9:30a.m., for a 10a.m. appointment. While she waited, she overheard the elderly couple in front of her tell the front desk that they never received a call that their animal had been groomed and they wondered if it in fact had been finished being groomed. Flag #1. So, wanting to support local business, she chalked it up as a simple mistake and left our dog with the employee. Fast forward to an hour and a half later, after running errands. My wife calls and asks if there was an update on 'Benny' because it was almost our 2 year Olds nap time and we wanted to get an estimate on a time frame. The woman who answered the phone said "Benny, is he a cat?"... A Cat? Really? Flag #2. My wife said "No, he's a poodle mix", to which the woman on the phone replied "Oh, no... he won't be done until 2p.m." and she mentioned a "four hour window" which hadn't been discussed, upon dropping Benny off. I immediately called back and spoke with a woman I believe to be the owner, and told her we were coming to pick him up, because the 4 hour time frame didn't work for us. She then offered to have Benny done by 12:30 and I declined out of frustration. Upon arriving to pick him up, the same woman I had just spoken with was flabbergasted at the fact that one of her fellow employees didn't even know the species of our pet. So, not only did they neglect to inform us about a 4 hour window (which wouldn't have been a big deal had we planned for it), but they thought our dog was a cat. Needless to say, Benny has an appointment tomorrow morning at PetSmart (where he's been before and had a great experience). We will not be taking our boy back to Nikki's and based on our experience, I can not recommend this groomer to anyone else. read more
