This place is my favorite sushi place in BC. They always say "HELLO!" when you walk in and "THANK YOU!" when you leave! The staff is super nice and friendly. They have pictures all over the walls of their customers and its fun to try to find yourself in among the pictures. The sushi is great! I just love their avo rolls and their gioza. They make really good miso soup and tempura. You can also get take out which is really nice. read more

A few months ago my wife and I decided to give this place a try. We went in at 12:50 and after sitting down, waited for about 10 minutes before anyone spoke to us. When the server finally came over my wife tried to order the lunch special. The server informed her the lunch special was only available till 1PM. We originally though she was joking but unfortunately she wasn't. I'd love to comment on the food but after that kind of service we packed up our things and left. There are far too many quality sushi bars in Langley to accept that kind of service. read more

This place is pretty sweet. I'm not the biggest sushi fan as in I don't eat the raw fish saw I can not comment on that. Service is good. Prices are good and the "typical" sushi aka Cali rolls, dynamite rolls etc... Are good too. One thing I dislike personally is the mix a bit to much Mayo with the crab in the rolls. Aside from that it's pretty good. Could use a bit of a better saki selection too. read more

i really liked the service and the miso soup was really good. The same with the rice and the soy sauce. The rice is the best the sushi in Nikko sushi. There is a really good taste like the seaweed in the sushi but the green tea ice cream did not taste really good. It was okay though. read more

Been going here for 10 years now maybe even longer! The service is amazing they're so genuine and really try their best to make you happy. The food is always super fresh. I've never been disappointed with my service or food. They have the best beef sashimi and you definitely have to try their I love it roll ! I have been eating sushi at Nikko Sushi for many years now. The staff is wonderful (Sushi Bob and his wife are the owners). From time to time, Bob even sends out a "treat" for his regular customers which illustrates the personality of this place. Best sushi in Langley, extremely reasonable, very welcoming. Lots of repeat customers. Large sushi bar, booths, and tables. There is a good amount of seating room because they expanded a few years ago (not too small, not too large). My faves: spicey agedashi tofu, spinach gomae, spicey California roll, vegetable roll... Plus they have some very interesting bigger rolls, but I am more of a traditionalist on my sushi choices. Try the black sesame ice cream for dessert - something different but addictive! Great fresh fish and service is awesome. We have been eating here for years and like the atmosphere and the feeing that our business is appreciated. There is always a nice welcome and recognition from the staff (Your regular drinks?, etc.). A couple of food items that we like are the tempura which has a nice light batter and the rolls which are just bite size instead of big honking things that fall apart when you bite into them. read more

Stopped here 20 minutes before closing but they stayed open for us. This family was so accomodating, the food was great and staff could not do enough for us. It was Grampa's birthday and the comp'd a monster roll with a little cake and candle too. They even sang! Monster roll was fabulous as was all the food and service. Went to pick up our order and when we expressed we were not pleased with the pricing the lady helpong us became rude and annoyed with us. I asked to see a manager and she annoced she was the manager. I expressed that we should not be treated like this as we are paying customers and she got defensived and started arguing with me. Horrible management skills. Went here for the first time today and it was the worst sushi I have ever had in my entire life. Absolutely disgusting. I do not leave reviews ever, this is my first or second yelp review, but I had to because this was the worst. I ordered takeout and I was 10 mins late in picking it up and the seaweed salad was still frozen when I got it to my work. Clumped together with frost on the seaweed from it being frozen. I have no idea how they can serve this. It went straight in the garbage. My tuna sashimi, also was frozen. The big pieces could not be chewed through as they were still solid in the middle. The small pieces were thawed but ice cold and so gross as they were nowhere near fresh. I had to spit it out because it tasted so fishy and gross. Straight in the garbage as well. The miso soup was almost clear, seemed more like tea. Flavorless. The california roll was not terrible, but not very good. Only ate it because I spent over $30 on sushi and had no lunch because everything went in the garbage. I tried to send them an email via their website but it kept timing out and would not let me send anything to them. Do not order this sushi. It is awful. Complete waste of money. read more

Worst sushi place in Langley by far. If I could give it zero stars I would. My husband went in to grab our dinner tonight to go, was very rudely greeted by staff who were very impatient. As he was ordering he realized there was a combo for about four of the things he had ordered, so he mentioned it, and was told by the lady it was "too late." He also ordered yam tempura but when he looked at his receipt it was a roll. When he brought this to the servers attention he was also told it was "too late" but was allowed to order what he initially asked for for nearly $10. for yam tempura? no thanks. we won't be recommending this place ever! read more

Nikko is a good place to get sushi in the area but it's not my first choice. Selection is ok but there could be better/more rolls.

For sushi in Langley (a fair bit below Vancouver standards) Nikko has always been in my mind, reliable. A few really good items but nothing going to blow you away. We have been fairly regular there for about 5 years and even when there has been issues with the food the staff were fairly accommodating to correct it the best they can. Well that has changed now and WE WILL NEVER GO BACK, even though it's walking distance we will drive elsewhere. Over the past 5 visits I have been served FROZEN tuna. In one instance the chef remade my dish with slightly less frozen fish. Last night, I had a craving for some spicy tuna sashimi. It should have consistent texture and temperature, this is highly important for sushi. So much so that at one time it was thought that women should not prepare sushi as they have the wrong body temperature and can effect the fish (I know, right?). FROZEN. Just the outside was ready, inside, ice cold, which then loses all the flavour and instead of melting in your mouth the way it should it crunched as I has to chew my way through ice crystals. I point it out to the server who gets the head chef/owner (known as Sushi Bob) who comes over and tries to explain to me how they receive the fish, how they cut it and how it is stored, not in a freezer. Okay, but Bob, it's frozen. He then goes and brings over 2 slabs of Tuna, one in the reefer, and one in the freezer to show me and again provides an explanation to which I'm now a bit confused...as my fish is FROZEN, why are we talking about this?! He then looks at me disapprovingly and asks "you want to cancel?" Well I guess so, I can't eat it, again...frozen. He takes it away, my wife and son finish off their food...I get no apology as I think I was expected to eat it anyway. Then as we leave...no good bye or thank you, but 3 of them actually shot us amusingly dirty looks. I smile at the other chef and he immediately turns his eyes down and folds a towel. Rrrreeally? Anyone who buys this explanation and eats the frozen fish....it's not supposed to be like that...go to just about any place in downtown Vancouver where the competition is much higher and you'll see the difference in consistent quality. SORRY BOB, BUT WE WILL NEVER RETURN, YOU LOST A FAMILY OF REGULARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Family owned and friendly. Service and prep time is a little slower but it is because they are always busy. Food is always good and properly prepared. It can get noisy and the interior is a little dated but very acceptable for a family of a date. Prices are about the norm for Sushi not cheap but not to expensive. read more
