I have been going here almost once per week for the last 5 months. We usually get subs or Stromboli and they are always, hot, fresh, and awesome. The meatballs are tasty as well. Today, I was hesitant but decided to try one of their cheesesteaks. I am usually afraid because there are so many horrible versions out there. Well, I wished ai would have tried one sooner because their cheesesteak was awesome. i ordered the Nikoli's cheesesteak with steak, pepperoni, sausage, provolone and sauce and the actual steak was the star of the show. Not a "normal" cheesesteak but this was awesome and i will order the whole version next time. This place always has awesome food, awesome customer service, and fair prices. This is a great place to go if you are looking for a place that is not too crowded and has quick service. I ordered a medium vegetable stromboli and a side of fries and I had leftovers for days! Even though the stromboli had a lot of green peppers, the tastes blended together very well. My check in posted way before I was done with my review. We called our order in for pickup. We were told 30 minutes and when we arrived within the 30 minutes, our order was ready. Pipin' hot fresh out of the oven. 2 pizzas! Garlic cheesy bread. Meatballs. We order the specialty pizza, Nikoli's Famous Italian Style! XL. But I asked for the meats to be on one side only. Nice local pizza place, delivery is great. We pick up a lot but have eaten in as well but it's nothing fancy as far as dining but I don't have an issue with eating there. We live very close so no need to deliver for us. Great subs and some of the best french fries I've ever had and the prices are very reasonable and I like that they seem to be active with the community. I'm personally not a fan of their pizza but it's not bad, and their hours are bit limited for a pizza place I've called more then a half hour before closing and they already had the grill off. WARNING: Fennel Spice Alert!! For people who do not like fennel, their pizza has it. I am guessing the sausage has it also as another user said the sausage is 'bad'. For people who hate fennel, its presence in sausage or sauce makes the best food 'bad'.. Yuck. Their marinara served on the side is really good and has no fennel but I had one bite of pizza and made my fiance eat the pizza because it has fennel seasoning which I despise. So I will not be ordering pizza here again. We are new in town and I think Zeiderellis has better pizza if you do not want FENNEL.. Their bread is DELICIOUS. This makes up for the fennel in the pizza. The garlic sticks and marinara are supremely delicious! We are ordering the lasagna tonight with ceasar salad, and the cheeseburger sub (also excellent because like I said, their homemade bread is EXCELLENT and soft and warm. Nikoli's has not only delicious food, but also excellent service and pricing, and the owners are great and friendly people. They are always involved in charitable events, even hosting a 5k run through Nikoli's, which is a fun time for everybody! The restaurant has a decent amount of seating inside, and has a TV for entertaining all you sports fans. The items on their menu is always fresh, each and every time. The restaurant also has catering which is perfect for parties and/or events. Obviously, they must make tasty food, right? So, why not choose this place? read more

Let me start by saying I have ordered from this place in the past, both pickup and delivery, without issue. However, today has turned me off for good. My co-workers and I decided to order lunch from Nikoli's. I called it in, and said we'd be paying on 2 cards, and one in cash. At no point did the girl tell me that we would EACH be charged a delivery fee ($1.50) even though they were coming to the same place. When I asked my cash paying co-worker how much tip to give, since he gave me a $10 and his bill was $8.91, and he was flummoxed. He said, "My salad was $6.49, why is it so high?" which began the investigation into this sad and ugly tale. I called and the girl on the phone said it was the delivery fee, and when asked, admitted yes...we were all three charged. I asked why we weren't advised this up front and she had no answer. I hung up, and the food arrived. I felt bad for the driver, and gave him a tip anyway. I called the restaurant and asked for the owner and right off, he had an attitude. He said that he would have told us up front, and the computer just populates it that way. I said, "Why not lower the delivery charge (gas is no longer close to $5, let's be honest)?", and he said he can't do that, and something about it being $0.50 per person (for everyone? for deliveries? I don't know). "Maybe your staff should be trained to explain that clearly, that it just didn't seem right to not disclose that", and he kept interrupting me, telling me I needed to "just relax" and "calm down" and then said I was "crying over $3." Well, at that last comment, flames shot from my eyes and if I hadn't been irked before, I sure was now. They also inadvertently charged my other credit card using co-worker for the ENTIRE order. He said he was going to back that off her card and make it right, as if he was doing us a FAVOR, and I said, "No, that was a mistake on your end." He again told me to "just relax" and that he was going to waive everything. I said I didn't care about it being free, because he wasn't being very customer friendly and I wasn't interested in the least. When I inquired about the cash paying customer, after he insisted on refunding the entire order, he said, and I quote, "I'll bring the Goddamn $9, and leave it on the counter and whoever paid for it can come get it." Which he did, and he wasn't as sassy when he gave me the cash and credited receipts back. Bottom line, YES...he refunded everyone (we didn't ask for that, would have been fine with delivery charge removed from 2 of the bills), and the food was good. But when you are going to pick arguments and belittle/condescend to your customers, that's when things are over. I handled Executive Complaints at Verizon Wireless for years. I know how to deal with irate customers, being professional, apologetic but also explaining the situation (and making it right when possible) as non-confrontationally as possible, which is key. The owner did none of those things, except waive the charges for the lunch. I won't order from there again, because I'd rather give my money to an owner who values their customers. read more

We tried Nikoli's years ago because it was conveniently located between work and our daughter's daycare. We would swing by on the way to picking her up in the evening. While it's been 8 years since Nikoli's was on our way home, we still make the extra trip when we can because we LOVE their pizza. Our girls ask whenever we bring a pizza home, "Is it Nikoli's?" and if it isn't, BIG disappointment! It's the only shop that offers an extra large which really is perfect for our family of four. We've had their subs, salads, and stromboli all of which are good. The extra bonus are their offering of cannoli's. But it's the pizza that gets us there even though we have numerous other shops closer to our home.
