My go to at Tonino's is their regular salad topped with shrimp. You must try the Parmesan garlic dressing. It is packed full of flavor. They have a huge selection of pizza slices to choose from. One of my favorites is the Buffalo chicken pizza!! Tonino's has something for everyone. Pizza, subs, salads and bolis. They have a couple of locations. Give them a try! Took a big group of kids and friends here and had a great time. The staff are patient and helpful with kid-friendly recommendations. Why isn't there a half of a star option? I heard guys at work raving about this place. So I had to try it well I went up the counter ordered 2 slices of premade pizza she threw it in the oven then I paid. While waiting on my pizza to warm up she took 5 other orders and started making a hoagie for someone while my pizza is now scorched. Finally receive my pizza and as expected some of the worst pizza I ever had how they are known for their pizza I will never no. Price wasn't bad but this place doesn't even deserve 1 star. I ordered food from Toninos using delivery service. The food was hot on arrival and smelled really good. I ordered chicken parm and it came with a side salad and garlic bread. You get to choose your own pasta for the dish and I went with fettuccine. The side salad was super fresh but I didn't care for the croutons. The chicken parm was a nice portion but lacked flavor all the way. The chicken and sauce were super bland. The chicken was also overcooked. The garlic bread was tasty. The food needed too much doctoring so I'm not sure I'll order again. Maybe try something different if you decide to order. read more

My other half loves Tonino's salads and after eating there, I saw why -- they're huge and have tons of ingredients. I had the baked ziti which was hot and delicious, served with a small salad and a roll. Why only three stars? Our meals had to be eaten with plastic utensils. Prices were not exorbitant by any means but when ordering a hot pasta dish or a salad that may require cutting, having to use plastic utensils makes it seem like a cheap, take-out place which Tonino's isn't. read more

Pizza here is mediocre. I would give a slice of cheese pizza here a 5/10. So basically, I wouldn't order pizza here. Out of convenience, we ordered subs here. We got an Italian Sub and a Cheesesteak Hoagie. There was way too much bread for both. The Italian was pretty bla. Meat was ok. There was no tomato. Not sure why. The Cheesesteak Hoagie was missing tomatoes also. Looked smaller than it should be. Prices were decent. But food was boring, missing items, had way too much bread, and we will just move past this place next time. Ps: Whenever I've walked in there, it was pretty dead. And the slices in the glass look pretty old. And don't order through the Slice App. They will charge a few extra dollars per item. read more

Okay Frankie...where are we? We're here at Toninos pizza at the new plazas near the Sheetz in Camp Hill. This is my 2nd visit. I had a delicious steak boli on my first visit. Excellent. Okay...everyone knows the rules. One bite...pizza looks great with pepperoni, sausage, and onion, smells good also...okay, one bite...there is some flop...crust is perfectly cooked...one bite, everyone knows the rules...crunch, crunch, crunch...hmmm, dough has a lightness that i really like...crunch, crunch, crunch...fresh ingredients...sauce has a little kick...crunch, crunch, crunch,...Frankie going to go with a 7.8 I ended up eating the whole thing, which i originally intened to have leftover for breakfast. So excited we've got one! These guys are the best. Some of the best pizza sauce and "gravy" (Red pasta sauce) you can buy. Everything we've had on the menu is good, but overall, they use super hot ovens and make hand-made pizza that is the best. Just about every type of pizza you'd want speciality-wise, but the Stromboli's, Calzones, and desserts are all great. The meals are also excellent. Great way to pick up eggplant or chicken parmigiana. The salads are great portions and full of toppings also. Do realize, this place ain't Pizza Hut, you're gonna pay a little extra for this level of food. But, it's worth it! Something unique and amazing on the menu - the Pizza Della nonna. Oh man, is this good. Thin crust Sicilian (grandmother) pizza. The cheese and attention to detail is awesome. They are all super friendly and have gone out of their way to take care of our orders. The reason for the 4 star rating instead of 5 is their sub rolls. I've ordered Italian and capocollo subs on separate visits and both times the rolls were tough and chewy. I'm not sure what the issue is when you order delivery but they certainly do NOT care about the quality of the food. I ordered sliced green pepper on half of a regular cheese pizza. We asked for it to be well done because their crust is typically a little doughier than we like. They decided to make the crust thin (trying to skip the well done part?) but put the same amount of cheese and large chunks of green pepper which resulted in a watery mess on a too thin undercooked crust. Flavor of my order was better than average. Menu selection was a tiny bit disappointing. I was looking for chicken wings. They were not on the menu. Got the California Cheesesteak and I 100% recommend. Tasted fantastic. Bacon cheese fries very good too. I got the pizza rolls and a small cannoli as well and i definitely didn't think they'd be as small as they were. Wouldn't say the cannoli was worth $2. And pizza rolls at other Tonino's are bigger. Ordered from here last weekend and was greatly satisfied with the good! We got a classic cheese pizza with basil, mozzarella sticks, and a Stromboli, and all were delicious. We ordered through DoorDash and chose the pickup option. My only complaint was that the food was never marked as "done" by Toninos, so we arrived 20 minutes late and our food had clearly been done for awhile. Just avoid the Erford Road location. They messed up our order twice and just want to make things however they feel. Chef Salad does not have turkey as described in menu. It has salami and then they decided to add pepper onions and tomatoes which I ask for them to exclude. The first order they gave me a grilled Caesar salad. Not even close. Our crisp chicken wrap was buffalo which was never mentioned while I was waiting the DoorDash guys order was over 10 mins late and people on lunch breaks were not getting their food. I eat here at least once a month due to the combination of close proximity, late business hours and, most importantly, rock-solid pizza. The bolis are pretty good too, but the pies are the standouts. They never skimp on the toppings, to the point where some pizzas like The Works need to be folded to ensure structural integrity in the crust. I'm a massive carnivore, but even I can enjoy options that aren't topped with meat like the di Tonino or the della Nonna. Strombolis are good too, but I feel the pizza is better in terms of taste and value for money. Other menu items can be hit or miss. Their homemade chips are sometimes stale. Sandwiches like the cheesesteak with the works and the mediterranean chicken are good, the parms I've had from them are average. The gf and I decided to try a panini and cold sub one time and those were also "eh". So stick to the pizza/bolis and you'll be good. Just make sure the pizza box stays flat during the ride home, as the weight of the toppings can cause them to slide sometimes. read more

The chicken parm sandwich was a 0/0. The chicken was difficult to find just a lot of of over cooked breading with occasional tough slivers of chicken. Suspect they need to change their fryer oil too as the fried breading tasted strong. The pizza looked fine. Suggest removing the chicken parm offering from the menu if you don't want to provide a halfway edible version. Finally good pizza in our area. Having lived in NYC and NJ for over a decade, and being married to a native New Yorker, it is hard to find pizza that passes the test. Tonino's is hands down the best pizza in the area. The Spinach Bruschetta pizza is last meal delicious. The ingredients are fresh and you can taste the quality. I have heard the tomatoes are actually imported directly from Italy. I wouldn't doubt it. We haven't tried the subs yet, but my extended family raves about them. read more

I ordered a Caesar Salad w/ Chicken and when they brought it to my table, it was in one of those plastic take-out containers even though I was eating inside the restaurant. So I started in on the salad which was getting cooked by the very HOT chicken laid on top and realized they had not added any dressing so I had to add that carefully so not to cause salad to leave the container onto the floor. Then I noticed that there was mostly croutons in the salad and very small amount of Romaine lettuce. I complained to the waitress and told her this was the WORST CAESAR SALAD I'VE EVER HAD, so politely she made me a new salad but had to get permission from the manager who was in the bathroom for a VERY LONG TIME. When he finally emerged from said bathroom he came out and wanted to know what the problem was. I explained, then he told me to get out of the restaurant and did not give me the replacement salad. Salads are disgusting. Very little lettuce, half a pound of cheese slices and crouton bits and crumbs - like someone dumped the end of a bag of crumbs and the most awful croutons EVER. Nothing like the other Tonino's in the area like Progress. They fries were in some kind of awful tasting grease. The pizza - plain - was the only edible thing I have gotten here. The homeade chips had a layer of grease in the bottom of the container...soggy and gross. Go back and learn from the other shops in the area bc this food is HORRIBLE.
