I've be hearing about Ciervo's for a while and decided to give them a try via take-out. Ordering was very convenient via the Slice app (my first experience with that too) and the pizza was ready in about 15 minutes at dinner time in a Saturday night. Staff was quite friendly on pick-up. I ordered a basic pepperoni pizza, basically my "yardstick" for a new pizza shop experience. The pizza was good and has a "New York" style crust that serves well for folding a slice. Sauce and cheese were tasty but not especially noteworthy. But hey, I don't want to be snooty about a neighborhood pizza shop. I'd certainly consider Ciervo's again AND the shop interior looked spotlessly clean in the short time I was inside. Definitely recommend for a basic pizza stop. read more

I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza here. I'm happy I stopped here on my day trip back to Harrisburg. I had a plain slice and a buffalo chicken slice, both very good. The plain slice had that classic pizza taste, that taste you use to get when we were little kids and you take that first crunchy, oily, flavorful bite of that pizza from the local shit hole and it's a moment of bliss in your mouth. That's what the plain slice tasted like. As far as the buffalo chicken slice, well they didnt have that when I was a child so I can't take you back on this one but I can say that it was very pleasing to my tastebuds. read more

I give this place a five-star rating not only because of the great tasting food but the excellent customer service. I have become a regular customer, and it is so nice to be greeted so warmly and to have them remember my favorite order. They are professionals with a personal touch. Every single item that I have tried on the menu tastes fantastic and will make you come back for more while your hips spread. LOL. They keep the prices reasonable and affordable. Most of the city's restaurants are overpriced with tiny portions, don't pay their employees well and yet they expect us to tip to make up for their slack in management. For these reasons, I would not recommend any of these places. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet and always clean. I love these people and this restaurant. Underwhelmed is the best way to describe this place. The hot wings are fried bare, no seasonings or anything then tossed in a sauce. Absolutely no flavor what so ever. The salad is pretty much a bowl of lettuce and $1 for cheese even though it says cheese as an ingredient. No reason to return . I don't want to try anything else. read more

Man, my first bite into this, my pizza was lukewarm at best. I had high hopes, I really did. The pictures I saw online looked good. And it was one of those nights that I didn't have the energy to cook for me and 2 kids. I was hoping a local pizza spot would come in with the Hail Mary so I wouldn't have to pack 2 kids in the car and drive to my usual places And one bite into this, it wasn't great. I felt my happiness for having pizza for the first time in a while crash around me. However the mozzarella sticks I had were clutch. They were perfect. Loved them. Look I don't blame these dudes. It could have been a number of variables; The driver might've had other stops, the chef might not been at the top of his game, me cutting up slices of pizza and mozzarella sticks for two kids might've made the pizza or a little bit less warm. You could've been anything. For whatever reason, good pizza was just not in the cards for me tonight. And nothing bums you out faster than a bad piece of pizza. Great food! One of the nicest menus I've seen in Harrisburg! I ordered the veal parmesan sub and a slice of pizza and a cannoli. One of the best parm subs ive had in this state! Pizza was really really good....far better than this crappy place called pizzaworks that has a weirdo owner who is drastically out of shape and obscenely obese. I will be back for sure....btw...anyone reading this....pizzaworks is absolutely terrible and if you leave a bad review the douchebag owner will have people harass you on Yelp. This was my first time eating here and this will definitely be my last . I ordered a large half pepperoni half cheese and some wings . My food gets here and my pizza is super greasy and my toppings were falling off the pizza. I call to complain and some guy tells me they put extra cheese on my pizza that I did not ask for and gets mad at me because I told him I didn't ask for that . Then continues to get mad at me saying " we do that to every pizza your the only one that complained this is unbelievable " . I asked him why he was being so rude and he told me to do what I wanted to do and hung up on me . Food 0 out of 10 , customer service -0 . Dropped into this little pizza shop for a sub, it's on the corner of Riley and 2nd Streets. I was pleased with the prices, quick service, and quality of the food. My turkey sub was packed with meat and the bread tasted pretty fresh as well. I've heard good things about their pizza so I'll have to schedule a return visit to try it myself. This is my neighborhood pizza place and I'm a regular. Subs are great, filling, great value. Salads are terrible. Stromboli is fantastic. White pizza isn't actually white (broccoli and tomato come standard, unless you ask to skip them). The pizza dough is awesome, the brusqueness on the phone is worth it. read more

Favorite pizza in all of Harrisburg. Love getting my fix of veggie pizza here, and it's dangerously close to my house, making it super easy to grab at any time. Not only the veggie pizza, but the stuffed cheese steak pizza, and just plain ol' cheese or pepperoni take the cake! I tend to also get fries with my order, which are huge! However, they don't have any flavor, since they're frozen fries, not fresh cut, so I tend to get ranch for dipping. Another popular item we tend to order pretty frequently are chicken cheesesteaks. They seem to have changed a bit over the past few years, but are still better than most. One thing I really wish was better was the salads. Maybe both times were off days for them, but the lettuce was not great and the toppings were pretty bland. Everyone that works here is super nice, just one of the many reasons we return so often.
