Leaning more on the 1.5 but we will go with 2 for effort and that I really want to be able to improve my review. Been here 5-6 times between the pool bar & inside ordering to go food while staying at the resort. The pizzas & calamari were great the first 2 times we had them so that's a plus! We went back for a different one because we saw how good it looked when waiting for ours...it was remade twice & still HORRIBLE! 1st one was tiny & hardly cooked. So after 50 min of waiting I asked for it to be cooked longer because at this point I just want to leave with edible food and be in my way.... the other cook remade it and it's still just dough and not cooked. Guy bartender makes good drinks - just needs to learn to acknowledge people when they sit down, it goes a very long way. Girl bartender/manager - super friendly & I understand her situation... but disappearing for 15 min after dropping off food (that you KNEW was incorrect & horrible) is not ok. Even if my food was right it was cold and soggy by the time she made it back for me to try to even pay. Another guy at the bar was wondering around looking for her for some time just to pay for his 1 beer! I did ask for the pizza to be free because at that point it had already been an hour... and then due to their mess up, it was a an hour & 45 min Togo order for pizza wings and a salad... which I originally came to order at 12p when they were supposed to open. Sounds like some staff quit so they opened up 4 hours late... get it!! But the blatant lack of communication to guests & care of consistency & basically lack of giving a f*ck, is why they get this review. read more

Made dinner reservations for a party of 4 at Spoke & Wheel as it was one of the only fairly rated restaurants in Sedona available. Location is good especially if your stay is in the south side of Uptown Sedona. There is a Hilton vacation stay connecting to the establishment. Two people ordered the fish and chips, one person got the chicken fettuccine, and I ordered the veggie pasta. Everything was good but fairly more expensive for what it was. The restaurant itself is pretty large with the main room connecting to the bar. In the back, there was another room with a pool table and up a small flight of stairs was another dining area. When we got there, only a few people were seated (maybe 3-4 couples) in the main room and my party was put in the separated dining room. I am giving this restaurant a 2/5 because of negative experience. Our order wasn't taken until 15 minutes after we were seated. We saw our waitress maybe once early into the meal but once we finished our meal, no one came with the bill. I waved down a waiter who was helping another party in the room (which was also the only other party in the room) for the bill but was told that he would tell "our" waitress. He didn't seem to have done that because we ended up waiting some more. I ended up getting up and asking for the bill. I understand if the place was busy, but the restaurant was dead. We had an early dinner late lunch at the bar of the Spoke. The bartender was very nice said hello and we sat at the bar. My husband ordered a beer which he commented a couple of times how cold it was. He absolutely enjoyed it with the temperature being over 100+ degree. The pizza was so good the crispy light dough was the best pizza. The tomato sauce was smooth and flavorful. The chicken wings were nice crispy but not dry. The Bbq sauce went well with them. Plenty of seats in the bar and dinning room. Located on the Los Abrigados property. There will definitely be a next time. Great food, service was on point, and the costumer was on point. read more

Came here by myself Monday night 7/5 during the England/Mexico game. It wasn't terribly busy but service was extremely slow. I ordered the ribeye medium rare and it came out almost well done, didn't send it back cause I don't like spit in my food. It ended up taking about 90 minutes to get in and out and on top of that, they charged $4.00 for carbonated tap water. The extra star is for the waitress. Spoke & Wheel is located inside the Los Abrigados Resort in Sedona and has a nice, open layout where the bar blends into the restaurant, giving the space an interesting design. We stopped in just for drinks, and the bartender was friendly, efficient, and attentive. We didn't order food, but from what we could see, food service seemed to be moving at a relaxed pace. While other staff members were present, the bartender appeared to be handling most guest interactions, which made us glad we kept things simple with drinks. Salmon like what you get at the deli counter at Ralph's, except not as moist. Mashed potatoes seemed like they're from a package. My father who is a very low maintenance eater couldn't eat them. We decided to go here because our hotel gave us a voucher to this restaurant since our rooms were not ready at check in time. There was ample parking outside and when we went inside it turns out it's an entrance to multiple different restaurants, we asked to be seated and were told to wait in the waiting area for 5-10 minutes. It ended up being happy hour when we went which we were happily surprised by since it was a Friday night. The place was about half full, half the bar was full and half the tables were, turns out there is a pool table in the back. I would say it's a pretty small restaurant, minimally decorated. The service was nice and friendly . We decided to get multiple things and overall everything came out pretty quick and everything was just alright. Sausage and mushroom pizza - 6.5 / 10. Sauce and everything was good but the crust and dough has no crunch very doughy, you have to eat it but folding it up Gorgonzola salad: 5/10. I thought that onions were way overpowering, I like onions but I think they needed to be cut skinnier or smaller bc it was way too much in each bite. Grilled chicken sandwhich 5/10. Well in Sedona expectations are high for everything delicious and expensive. I wasn't impressed with anything we ordered. The food had the opportunity to be fabulous food but was just okay, seemed like something was missing. Tap beers they had four taps which made me giggle I am from Utah and we got lots of taps and usually all local UT beer. Not many people but I think not enough servers. read more

Came back to revisit local restaurant that is located near our resort. We were happy to go after a long travel day and we were easily accommodated to a table. We had a party of 5 so we were seated way in the back of the restaurant all by ourselves. Our male waiter was friendly and quick on service. He memorized our entire order. Food was delicious and cooked great to taste. My hubby and I ordered a sausage & mushroom pizza (6 large slices) and bib & bleu type salad that was very tasty. Nothing left on my plate! We finished most of the pizza with one slice to spare. Great size servings. Will probably visit this place again during the week. We wanted to eat at the resort, but the food offerings are limited. We saw ribs on the menu in our room and went there for the ribs. After we ordered a drink (the margaritas are meh), we then order the ribs only to find out that they are out of ribs for a few days. There was literally nothing else we wanted from the very small menu, so we finished our marginal drinks and had to find some where else to eat. I really enjoyed the blood orange mezcalita, as well as the regular margarita. For the table, we ordered the chips and queso which was pretty good. We had a reservation at 6:30 it took about 15 minutes to even get water. Calamari was overpriced for the portion and pretty mid. Our food came around 7:30 fish and chips were good but the pizza was so mediocre $20 for Costco tasting pizza. Pizza was just okay with the bottom definitely burned, though toppings made it edible. Spoke Burgers were huge and a total mess to eat. I took the top bun off and it was tasty. Parmesan fries and regular fries both came through solid. Service lagged hard though We kept getting overlooked even when we were the only ones in the main room after a big group piled in after us and swamped the two servers. We kept it simple with a pizza and hot wings order. The restaurant itself is very large but only seating at the bar area was open and there were just a few people seated and eating. 11/2/22 I came here with my boyfriend and his mom for dinner. We were greeted and seated immediately. The place was somewhat empty on a Wednesday evening but service was great. Our waiter, Michael was very attentive and helpful in assisting us in choosing what to order. So we all ordered tacos. My boyfriend had the steak tacos, his mom and I ordered the blackened fish. The sloppily dressed hostess was running back and forth through the service door behind the stand and through the restaurant answering questions the couple kept asking. We did have a reservation, but for the 10-15 minutes we waited, the hostess never acknowledged us. Twice people came in behind us, saw the chaos the hostess projected, and left. We should have taken the hint. By the time we were seated, we sat for a while before we were approached by wait staff. The restaurant and their staff were either short-staffed, disinterested, or both. We were served like it was a burden, yet the restaurant was not even half full. Oh, and the food was unimpressive. I made a reservation for a thanksgiving dinner a month ago. They even sent me a reservation confirmation 2 days ago. My family got all dressed up only to find out that the restaurant was CLOSED 3 weeks ago! Wtf. We had to scramble to find a place to eat for thanksgiving.
