I just got a new truck and wanted to schedule an oil change here. I waited for 5 minutes when it's only 10 am on a Wednesday morning. Got recycled back to the same front desk person person because the people in service were not doing there job. Then when I get sent back to service someone answers and was asking me for my address, my email and saying I must give it. I asked why and then in a childish tone says "what is your address"...I straight hung up on that person. Very unprofessional and mismanaged. Contact the gmc in st Augustine. if I can select zero stars I would this company is absolutely criminal. my fiancé an I went into purchase a vehicle. The listing price was 24K.. then magically ended up 26000 (false advertisement) . we insisted we can't afford anything above 31k and we're walking out and declining the deal if that couldn't be met. we were told after haggling and a down payment that we can reach that 31k mark for financing with a extended warranty( by the sales manage) so we agree and.. long story short me and my fiancé spent a few hours pretty much just getting lied to by the sales manager and the salesman because now the 24K truck that we wanted to purchase for 31 is financed for 35 which means by the end of the term will be 46k paid into it. Almost doubling the initial purchase price. Also, they even adjusted the interest rate from the agreed-upon 9% to 11%. we're curr searching legal help because when going to try and get everything cleared up at the dealership all they did was tell us all the add-ons that was supposed to be included in the final price and weren't. so again sales manager lied salesman lied, The absolute worst part is like I said before we can't get approved for anything above 31 that's why we wanted to walk away and now I can't even refinance my way out of this nightmare with my own personal bank without paying down another 4k just to be able to refinance to what we originally agreed upon.... To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent service I received at your dealership. My vehicle, a 2016 GMC Sierra, was scheduled for a 7:15 AM appointment on Friday, June 27, 2025, for an oil change and tire rotation. I also reported a noticeable vibration at 70 mph, which seemed to be coming from the front right tire. At 8:47 AM, I received a call from the service advisor informing me that the tires showed signs of dry rot and should not be rotated. I was quoted $208.46 each for Goodyear tires, which I agreed to. I was advised that while the tires were not in stock, they could be delivered from a local distributor in time to complete the service that same day. However, at 3:05 PM, I was informed that the tires had arrived late and that the technician would attempt to finish the job. By 4:00 PM, there was still no confirmation that the work would be completed, and I was forced to rent a car to avoid being without transportation over the weekend. This rental and a rideshare to return the vehicle on Monday cost me $340. On Monday, June 30, I was told the truck would be ready at 11:00 AM. After returning the rental and taking a rideshare to the dealership, I was informed upon arrival that the alignment machine was down and that the work would be delayed by another 45 minutes. At checkout, I questioned the bill and was met with a dismissive and unprofessional attitude. I was told, "As I told you over the phone," in a snarky manner. When I asked whether any protective product (such as tire shine or Armor All) might help extend the life of the new tires, the advisor replied, "I have no idea what you are talking about." In addition: * I was charged for a tire rotation, even though it was not performed due to the installation of new tires. * Contrary to what was promised, General tires were installed instead of the quoted Goodyear tires. * A 3% credit card surcharge was added to the bill. We bought a used car for my son for college from this dealership. We bought the extended warranty even bought the extended service to where he wouldn't have to worry about anything while in college. He was taking his car in for one of its oil changes when the car began to overheat. We got a call from the dealership telling us that it was a head gasket or possibly a cracked head at a potential cost of over $6000 because they said it wasn't under the bumper-to-bumper extended warranty they sold us. They also told us the battery was dead, which had never been a problem to begin with. After a week, they called us back and said it was too much work for their dealership that we needed to have it towed to a Subaru dealership. We paid the $200 to get the car moved from their dealership to a Subaru dealership. Within one day the Subaru dealership (Subaru of Jacksonville) came back and told us it was a $40 radiator cap and there was nothing wrong with the battery. someone at the other dealership had just left the lights on. It is clear to me that they have no idea what they are doing, or maybe they do and they're just trying to take a advantage of the general public. I would caution anyone from dealing with this dealership, I would definitely not buy a vehicle that is not a GMC from this dealership as they have no idea what they are doing. Drove 5 hrs to purchase a 2023 GMC 2500 Denali. After talking over the phone with the sales person, management agreed on price which included a bed cover off another truck. Come to find out why they had no problem with our offer. We picked up the truck and 2 days later the cover would not lay flat so it leaked. I took the truck to a local truck bed cover store for them to give me an opinion on the cover Maybe I wasn't doing something right. He looked at the cover and told me it was pretty much rotten. It also had a dent on the top. He told me I pretty much helped them clean up a cover that should of been in the trash. I then took the truck back to dealer to then have Johnathan Shultz, sales manager, tell me we got a good enough deal and they were not "running a charity". He also said I should be happy I got a deal, they put it on free and they lost money but they were not going to fix the cover. I would never have driven this far and spent so much money on a vehicle knowing they were going to put a dry rot cover that was trash on the truck. I couldn't even believe a sales manager would speak to someone who just purchased a $90,000 truck so condescending. No man should talk to a woman the way he did. I am glad I didn't buy the extended warranty that I was thinking about. I wish I had never purchased the vehicle from a dealership that treats hard working veterans this way. We had to take our Denali to our GMC in Gainesville before it was driven 200 miles we bought it on the 12 of this month and it has been in the shop ever since, There is never a manager to talk to, and no call back we have been trying to work with them they need to pay for a bumper cover when something has been bondo instead of clips someone should be checking that issue even if the carfax says minor fender would you check it out? I went to another dealership that was nice and treated me well. But Oscar and his team won my business for life. He made the whole car buying experience cooler than a polar bear's toenail. He wasn't pushy at all. He was upfront and honest. He even came in to help me on his day off. The day before I bought the truck, he called me and took a video of the truck because I had a lot of questions. He took the time to show me how the features work. I purchased a 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 and immediately started having issues with the radio/infotainment audio not working intermittently. I returned it to the dealership and they were unable to fix it claiming it was a software issue GM was working on. GM says I need to take it back to the dealer. Very disappointed in this experience. Before you purchase a Sierra 1500 make sure you look up GM PIT6101 bulletin that was issued in Dec. 2023. It's October 2024 and they have still not come up with a solution. ince I was not notified about a 3 percent up charge for using my debit card in advance I won't be coming back. I purchased my vehicle right off the truck in 2015 and have been coming here faithfully. Not anymore. Not a good business practice without notice to the customer BEFORE the service update 6/20/23. Got an email asking to contact "us" to make this situation right. Who is "us" Well, I called the location I had my service and NO one could explain who sent the email and how they are going to correct the situation. I spoke to a Scott Baker which he states he is the Customer Service Manger. I explained to him that when my vehicle l was at that location I was charged 3% for using my debit card. He explains that the owner Mr. Nimnicht told them to say that this is because of credit card companies charging them so he advised them to pass that along to the customer. He mentioned just as restaurants are charging an upcharge they are also. I express that I did not receive a notice or text or call at the time when I made the appointment neither did the technician say anything when they took my vehicle. Absolutely No communication was given. Now that the services is done they need my payment and the 3%. What I wont is my 3% but the kicker is if I have to pick it up it would cost me more. New to JAX. Military transplant. Let me start off by saying this is not your typical car dealership and I didn't have your typical salesman. From the moment we arrived we met Scott S. And he took us right to the vehicle we had been eyeing on the net. It was a used Audi that they had priced fair but I quickly realized new or used they treat it like its one of their own regardless. There was no real haggling. They gave my wife exactly what we asked for her trade in and the numbers worked. After all this we still decided to sit on it a day and check out other dealerships in the area. At our surprise Scott was not upset nor did he get an attitude at all. He said he totally understood and that buying a car is a big investment. The next day we looked at carmax and they wanted us to finance with carmax credit at over 8%. We said that was crazy my wife and I both have credit scores well over mid 700's. We looked at a few other places as well but it felt draining and we were not satisfied at all. What stuck in our minds was how we were treated by Scott. I felt that if I bought this vehicle from him and needed anything from him in the future it wouldn't be a problem. We went back and before signing anything I told him I wanted the vehicle brought up to my standards. There was some interior work that needed to be done and some touch up on the outside. I figured the sales manager was going to say no or we would have to renegotiate price. Nope, not the case. Scott came back and said everything I requested would be done at no extra cost and he would make sure when I picked up the vehicle it was fully detailed and gassed up. When my wife and I were ready to sign the papers we were surprised and delighted that Tim the finance guy went out of his way and found us an interest rate of 1.9% . Tim didn't push any particular financial institution on us that was going to benefit the dealership in some way . His goal was to get us the best rate and the lowest payment and that's exactly what he did for us. He's not a bad fisherman either. Since purchasing the vehicle Scott and I have kept in contact . Anything I've needed for the vehicle he's been there to see it gets done and he always returns it with a little more gas and cleaner than when he picked it up. Yes, I said picked it up. He's driven to my workplace and provided me a vehicle when he took mine to to have serviced. As long as I live in JAX I'll be making it a point to purchase future vehicles from here. My husband and I traveled from Georgia to Jacksonville, FL, to shop for vehicles. We were quite interested in a pre-owned BMW SUV at Nimnicht Buick GMC (it was our number one choice). My husband called Nimnicht Buick GMC and spoke with the woman who answered the phone via speakerphone. He told her the vehicle we wanted to see and asked it if was there. She asked us to hold while she spoke with her manager, Gus. She then came back on the line and told us that she knew exactly the vehicle we were talking about, and she confirmed that we could see it when we arrived. We told her we would be there shortly, and she told us to ask for Gus. We arrived at the dealership about 20 minutes after the phone call. The first person we spoke with, a salesperson, said another salesperson sold the car, but the buyers' financing fell through and it was available again. We asked to see Gus, and Gus and the salesman went to find the vehicle. When they returned, they said we could not see the SUV because it was being worked on. Gus said it was on the rack and the mechanic couldn't even give him a time we should return that day. We explained that we came down from Georgia, and I asked Gus if they could bring the vehicle down for us to see it. He said no, something was wrong with it, and it was in pieces (hmm . . so who was dishonest --the woman who answered the phone or the manager? or are they just that incompetent at this dealership?). We told Gus about the phone call: the woman's assurance that we could see the SUV if we drove there and her statement that she spoke to him about it. Gus denied that anyone talked to him about the vehicle (so again, is it dishonesty or carelessness and disrespect for others' time?). We were upset at the wasted time and apparent complete disregard on the part Gus and his salespeople for giving accurate information or honoring what an employee told customers. So, what was the real deal with this vehicle? Did an agreement fall through due to a buyer's financing or did a problem with the vehicle force its removal from the lot? Did the woman on the phone make up the story about speaking to Gus, or was Gus trying to cover up his error? Whatever happened, let me tell you what didn't happen. Neither Gus nor the salesperson ever apologized. Not even a simple "We're sorry for the mistake." Steer clear of this dealership!!! read more

We purchased a brand new GMC Denali and at first were very excited. GM does a great job advertising how amazing this truck is but when you buy it, its a completely different story. Long story short, we purchased a lemon (by our standards). The reason I emphasize "by our standards" is because technically in order to have a "lemon" the same problem must persist three or more times. HOWEVER, if you have multiple problems over and over again, like we have had, GM and the dealership say, "sorry about that but it is what it is". I have owned this vehicle for 1 year and within the same year it has been serviced 6 times for various issues including transmission problems, suspension problems, pulley system issues (im not a mechanic so thats how I describe it) and as of late unusual shuddering of the engine. That last thing only happened once so I cant even have them look at it until it keeps happening otherwise I am sure they will think I am just crazy. Nonetheless, we have been in a loaner car for more than 6 weeks last year as Nimnicht works hard on fixing this poorly constructed vehicle. We requested a buyback and of course GM said no and the dealership has offered no solutions. Though they say they stand behind their product it is clear with this situation they do not. Neither the dealership NOR the manufacture will stand behind their product which should be a huge red flag for future buyers. My advice....DO NOT BUY a GMC and DO NOT BUY from Nimnicht. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE: The service department Techs here are rude and unhelpful. Clay and Steve were rude and condescending to my wife in person, and even to me over the phone. They charged for a balance that they didn't do, and refused to make it right. They made my Wife and sick child wait far too long for her 3rd appointment to get answers and resolve a simple issue. The manager refused to return phone calls when asked for a simple call to assure that our next appointment was efficient, and wasn't as fruitless as the prior.
