The truck I purchased was falsely advertised with specific parts that were promised to me before, during, and even weeks after I signed the paperwork. Then, nearly a month later, I received a call saying I would not be getting those parts after all. This is blatant bait-and-switch, and when confronted, the dealership refused to make it right. Went there for the first time today and was greeted nicely but the salesman I was put with was not listening at all it started out well by him asking what we are looking for and took notes then went to "talk with the sales manager" to get a list of cars. Next thing I knew, he had pulled one up. Sounds good but this is not what we asked for. We wanted to look at a list of vehicles before we went out. We explained it and said we want to walk the lot to see first. It didn't seem like they wanted to do that. We walked out to the lot and there were no prices on any vehicles. He then started getting snarky with me saying that was a 1980 thing and they are not a used car lot. Which is exactly what we were on. He had an attitude and sucks at customer service. I purchased a Yukon this month and was assured several times it had been looked over by the service department and a concern I had with the a/c was addressed and properly fixed. I don't know if it was an incompetent service department or a sales team that just wanted to get a car off of the lot but I was sold a lemon. Either way, I have lost all faith in this dealership, their service department, sales and finance managers. Unless you want to pay top dollar for a broken vehicle, have a lot of money to spare to fix said vehicle and have to drive a rental car, AND lots of free time available to deal with that same vehicle, I HIGHLY recommend you go to a different dealership. The worst dealer. Bought a 2018 Mini Cooper turbo from them 1 yr old. Paperwork was done at 3pm and was there till 7pm said they need to do service (change oil and top off fluids) and have car detailed ad it was filthy full dirt and dog hair. Waited 4 hrs and 7pm my wife drive home. See attached pics...the oil was black and radiator fluid was below min level ...ie they never did the service. They didn't even vacuum it see pics. Called sales rep next day he said they didn't have oil filter in stock and the detail people left early. All he had to do was say come back next day. I went into the dealership explaining my situation. I am a single mom of two toddlers that needs a reliable vehicle that isn't going to break down on me and cost a fortune to get fixed time and time again. I thought the salesman who I was being helped by clearly understood that. Skip to 14 days after I bought the car that is used and sold as is and it suddenly needs a new fuel injector. I get my car to the dealership a day later and they replaced that for me at no cost. That was very sweet of them. Then 4 months later I need two more fuel injectors and a new gasket cover. I take it in and the dealership is not able to help me with this, so I had to finance the work to be done even though upon completing the first fuel injector replacement the service department did not do a compression test to check the the fuel/oxygen levels and merely relied on the codes the car shot out. Now I need another injector, have already had to change the gasket seal, and I'm told by my mechanic that I'm going to need my fuel sensor replaced as well. So basically within the 5 months of me having this vehicle I am having to replace the whole fuel system. This is far from reliable. I am not happy with any of this. I understand used cars have things that need to get fixed, but when I tell you that I need something reliable giving me a 2018 Chevy Cruze is not okay. I am a woman and don't know very much about cars, and I am sure that was used to the dealers advantage in the situation. Every mechanic that I have gone to and dealer that I have gone to have stated that the 2018 and 2019 Chevy Cruze is more of a mechanics car due to all of the work they end up needing. If all of these people know this just through discussion, there is no way a salesman who has been with the company for that long should have sold me a car like this. It makes me sad that I was taken advantage of like this and now I am having to take food from my children's mouths to fix this car that I am $14000 in debt for... I ended up going to see about trading this car out before a lot of the work I just got done with it completed but was told to trade it out I would have to trade into a new car and I would need a cosigner for that. Coming from somebody who aged out of foster care, I don't just have a mommy and daddy to co-sign anything I want. I have to work and pay for what I have, and I guess I am paying. This should not have happened and I will make sure to let everyone know my experience so they stay away from this dealership and most importantly, this car salesman who's name is Craig. My last service visit was a disaster. I brought it in for very specific things. I had to wait weeks just to get an appointment. The first was a warning light on my dashboard. I couldn't read it with a standard code reader so reluctantly I brought it in. They charged me $180 Just to read the code. To plug in a reader and tell me the code, what, about 5 seconds? $180. This is why people don't go to dealerships. Then they wanted $850 on top of that to replace a sensor. A quick check online showed that the sensor could be bought for $25. It was clearly accessible and it took me less than 10 minutes to unscrew the one screw unplug it and plug the new one in and put the screw back on. $25 for something they wanted to charge me $800+ for. Next, a coolant leak. I am adding about a pint of coolant a week, I can see dried coolant stains under the vehicle, but it's not leaving a puddle, so i asked them to check it. They responded that there was no leak. The coolant reservoir was full. Of course it is, I have to keep adding it. Another waste of my time. I asked them to find out why my "Service 4WD" message keeps coming on. They gave me a list of about five codes that were showing up related to the four-wheel-drive system. This I knew. What did they do about it? Told me that they drove it around in four-wheel-drive and the message wouldn't come on. That's what codes are for. It's an intermittent issue, that's why it stores the codes to tell you how to fix it. They couldn't be bothered. Said it "has to be doing it at the time to fix it". Another waste of my time. Then a routine maintenance item, a transmission fluid service. They charged me almost $400 which I knew going in, but wow. Price some other area mechanics for this and see how much they charge. Probably not even half that. But I brought it in because I needed these other things done, which didn't get done. Lastly, I asked them to grease all the fittings under the vehicle that are called for to be done every other oil change. I change the oil myself, but it is difficult to access these points without it being on a lift. It is a Chevrolet vehicle, it's a Chevrolet service department, and know what they told me? They don't have a grease gun in their service department. LITERALLY THEY DO NOT HAVE A GREASE GUN IN THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT. The reason was that vehicles don't need it anymore. I asked them to check the steering and suspension, honestly I don't even feel like this was done. I have no confidence that they even checked. But what they DID do, was tell me that I needed a part replaced in my air-conditioning system. Which is functioning absolutely fine. And they wanted almost $1000 to replace this part. I never even asked them to check the air conditioning system. What's more, I have done all the work myself on that truck since I bought it new twenty years ago. What I can tell you is that I am absolutely certain in every meaning of the word that there was not neon colored Freon splashed all over the high-pressure port of my air conditioning line under the hood when I brought it in. Further to that, the reason my engine bay is so clean is because the engine on all of my vehicles gets washed with the rest of the car with high-pressure every other time I wash the rest of the vehicle. The fact that it came back with Freon splashed all around the area you told me I needed to replace and being 150% certain that it wasn't there when I brought it in (as I am under the hood replenishing the coolant every week that you told me isn't leaking) was the final straw for me. I definitely won't be back. An automobile service department that doesn't have a grease gun. I can't even make this up. They are great at charging a lot of money to do what a quick lube place does (sans grease gun) or charging you to plug something in to tell you a code, and pointing out problems you don't have, but if you need something done, they aren't equipped for it. It used to be a good place to get service. Nope. All done. Never again. read more

The dealership wouldn't take the vehicle in to look at it for over a week. They were extremely unprofessional from start to finish. Clyde, the floor manager only cares about selling vehicles and making a profit. On August 15, 2020, my wife and I visited Nimnicht Chevrolet to look at the possibility of leasing or purchasing a new truck. I currently was leasing a 2018 Ford F-150 that was very low on miles and in excellent condition with four remaining lease payments. My wife and I were blatantly lied to about a number of things, the dealership promised to pay off the remaining 4 lease payments on our Ford and never did, they also promised carpeted floor mats that have never arrived. What I can say is that we should have been offered an option to purchase rather that simply a lease option, yet that didn't happen. In fact, they told us what the payment would be on a purchase after THEY said it was too late. My mistake was apparently purchasing from this dealership. Way too many lies and deceptions. I had an experience today that mirrors Joan G's experience from one month ago (earlier review read below). I was shown a deal on paper that I didn't want to agree to at 1st. Then after much consideration and conversation with my wife I decided that the original deal was a decent one. It was a that point that they brought out the 6th different person that I had talked to from the dealership that day to tell me that they could not do that deal. I went in the morning and spent 3 hours trying to come up with the deal I wanted. I left without making a deal and they called me to come back in saying that they wanted to work with me. I dealt with Howard Roberts at Nimnicht Chevrolet for more than one year in connection with the purchase of a Chevrolet Corvette. For more than one year, Mr. Roberts promised I was on Nimnicht's Order Waitlist for the Corvette. He repeated assured me that my purchase would be at MSRP. After taking my deposit, ordering the car, and taking delivery of the car at the dealership, Mr. Roberts, with the support of General Sales Manager Scott Garman, demanded $10,000 above list. Mr. Roberts and Mr. Garman acknowledged Mr. Robert's multiple repeated representations, over the course of more than one year, that I would not "pay a penny over list (or sticker)," but said that "circumstances had changed." The changed circumstances they pointed to was that customers were now willing to pay over MSRP for the car. I took delivery of the car, agreeing to pay $10,000 over MSRP, but as an attorney and frequent pro se litigant, I advised them at the time I would sue to recover my damages. Nimnicht Chevrole's malfeasance in employing this deceptive sales practice is unfortunate, but will not go unremedied. read more

This is one car buying experience I would rather forget! They are not a good dealership. The only person that was awesome was Eileen, the receptionist. If I could give this dealership a zero I would. Worst new truck buying experience we have ever had. The salesman was so incompetent! They do not care. Then they tried to "make it right" by letting us look at another one that everything we were looking for and oops we forgot to tell you the rebates weren't good for this truck. That was after we were in the finance office and all of the paperwork done. We should have walked away. We had plenty of signs to do so. Unfortunately we didn't. the manager on duty that rainy Sunday never did come apologize. Said she was to busy. Well she wasn't. we get in the truck to drive 2 hours back home and the seat heaters didn't work. We called and they said oh just bring it back in. The detail that they did to the truck left a lot to be desired as well. Overall this dealership was terrible. I called to talk to the GM the next day AFTER I left an email message for him to call me. He really didn't care about my experience and i even told him that we would never buy from them again. He didn't care. They whole dealership is extremely unprofessional. I'm not currently recommending this dealership for sales or service. They asked me to trade in my car; it was a great Equinox with low mileage and a full dealer service record. My husband and I agreed, and we shopped a bit and went with a new Trax. I've had nothing but problems since then. The sales department took 5 weeks to finalize our sale - we had to go back to renegotiate because my trade in's loan had a payment come up, plus the two week payoff amount expired. That shouldn't have ever happened. They also didn't ask for enough paperwork so twice we had to scan and email new documents to them to finalize it all. But then the icing on the cake? I had to have a service appointment within 5 weeks of purchase. A recall was present AT THE TIME OF SALE, which is inexcusable. Additionally, my heat was ice cold, and my rear wiper wasn't engaging in certain gears. It took them SEVENTEEN (17) days to decide they were done fixing these things; and at that, most was supposedly spent on the wiper assembly. After 17 days, during which I was told their Master Mechanic with 30 years experience was focusing solely on my vehicle every working day, they finally decided to tell me this wiper is a planned feature. They couldn't refer to any portion in the manual telling me it is. They just couldn't find anything wrong so they assumed it's supposed to work that way. (By the way, after that phone call, I found the manual page it's on. Why can't the dealer do that???) They called to tell me my car is ready for pickup, the recall was complete and the heater fixed. An hour later, prior to me picking up the vehicle, the parts department called. My parts for the recall came in and they wanted me to bring my car back. Wait. What? The service advisor just told me the recall was done. Which is it? I'm still waiting to find out, FOUR DAYS LATER. The RO tells me it's done, but the RO also tells me that the heater functions. However, that's a flaming lie. It still shoots out ice cold air. Now, when I leave work at 2am, I have to put gloves on to drive my brand new Trax, because the air is so cold that I can lose feeling in my finger tips. Sounds safe, huh? I can't just keep it off, because the windows fog up. Would have been nice to have been sold a functional car. I sure do miss my trade in. She ran beautifully. Lesson learned. Don't trust this dealership. They can't do anything right the first time. Edit: update: I've even more reason to get pissed today. So, I bought my car on a Saturday. We wanted to register it in our home of record, which is Washington state. We are in Florida. They told us that it may take longer to get plates. Ok fine, no worries. If the temp tag expired, they promised we could get it renewed without question. The first tag expired. I went in on a Saturday and got a new one without any questions. Then the loan was finally processed, after this second tag was issued. Today, another Saturday, my tag expired again. I went into the dealership same as before, and asked for a new one. "You should have called on a business day. We can't issue you one. It's impossible. You're only permitted one renewal. You need to talk to people who never work weekends. You should have known." We contacted this dealership last Friday after it appeared on the Costco Auto Buying program website for certified pre-owned vehicles (Chevy Tahoe). After discussion with a salesperson by the name of Nick Everhart, we were told there were no certified pre-owned Tahoes available, but two new ones would be arriving, and the Costco Auto program would apply. We spent the next two days researching and confirming this is where we wanted to purchase from. We reached out to Nick this morning to finalize a deal. After providing all information we received a call back from Nick stating that the Costco Auto program offer would not be honored, and the price would now be almost $7k more. I have submitted a complaint to Costco about this dealership's violation but would like others to be warned about the bait and switch tactics that occur. read more

Typical car dealership. Same old sales tactics, same old sketchy moves to steer customers to buying what they want you to buy. I just bought a new truck from them after I realized that I could buy a brand new vehicle with all the free factory warranties and a couple free oil changes and tire rotations for about 1000 more than what I could buy used at Carmax with 21000 miles and no free warranties except their 30 day warranty. I bought my last vehicle from Carmax because I LOATHE car salesman and dealerships tactics. They are all the same. Andrea was my salesperson after I found the truck I wanted on the internet. She was helpful, professional, and eager to please, but didn't know a whole lot about the truck I was buying, and told me it was 4wd when I knew it wasn't. Once I told her I was interested in the truck her role ended and this is when the customer service and ethics took a nose dive. The guy I negotiated the price with, Martin I think his name was, tried to tell me that a certain price was a "great deal", and that it was the "best I could get", despite this number being thousands higher than their internet advertised "best price", which obviously is not their best price otherwise they wouldn't put it out there. Shockingly, he was able to get approval to sell me the truck for about what I was looking to pay, and we ended up reaching a deal on the price and financing, but absolutely zero disclosure or discussions whatsoever as to the tax, tag, title, etc fees, or what the actual final price would be. Positive moment: After I negotiated the price, I met with the tech guy Michael who was fantastic. He showed me in no time how to use the tech on the new truck and download the app and some other cool stuff. Great customer service. Now back to typical car dealership/shady service....after waiting around for over an hour, I meet with yet another person - the finance guy. He somehow "found a way" to bump me up to the next credit tier to get me a better rate than Martin offered, which is just a way to get you to buy extended warranties and other stuff that you may or may not need. When we were going over the extended warranty options, this gentlemen didn't tell me what the monthly payment would be without the extended warranty options, and wrote on the piece of paper the option with a 10 yr 125,000 mile extended warranty, which is actually only a 7 year about 90,000 extended warranty since the factory warranty is 3 yr 36,000 miles. The monthly payment without any warranty purchase was typed on the sheet, but I was not told this or pointed it out. It's typical car salesman tactics. But, two stars because the financing rates here were way better than what Carmax had to offer. When you actually purchase the warranty, they only give you the declarations page of the warranty and don't give you the actual agreement showing what is and is not covered. They also don't disclose the actual cost of the extended warranty, but try and make it more attractive by simply telling you what the increase in the monthly payment will be. I also asked about having a spray in bed liner getting installed during the purchase. I was told it would be 399.99. When I came back two days later, I found out they quoted the wrong price, and it's 475.00. I then found out you can just book it directly with the installer and save almost 100.00. Can i give this dealer 0 stars? Me and my husband have been looking for a used cargo van that we need for work, we live 2 hours away from Jacksonville but we went there to look at a van because we were told on the phone that it was ready to look at it, when we got there we were told that the van had a minor sensor problem, that it needed to be fix but if we made a deal the were going to deliver the van for free when it was ready, we really liked it so we decided to buy, that was on a Friday, so he said to call back on Monday to get an answer on when the van was going to be deliver, I called today and he told me that they discovered that the cost of the problem on the van would cost $6,000, that I could get a discount and only pay $3,000 or they couldn't sell me the van, we need this van for a week from now so now we have to wait for them to return the down payment which is going to take 3 days and see if we can find something on time, this obviously affect our credit score, I can't believe how irresponsible they can be, SAVE YOUR TIME AND DONT GO TO THIS PLACE read more
