Called on a Saturday morning and was told to come in Saturday afternoon for a haircut and color. This was awesome to be able to come in on such late notice. My hair had been dead and "boring" for about the last year. Texted Nina for color consultation which was super convenient and easy. Walked into my appointment, was greeted and offered something to drink. My appointment took about 3 hours but seriously such a great job and completely worth the time. I am absolutely loving my new hair! Nina and I talked about my boyfriend and I going out that night so she made sure to go out of her way to blow dry and style it. Nina was great. It was easy to text her for an appointment. And most of all I love my new haircut. (So does all my friends and husband.) Nina listened to what I wanted. I was even more impressed when she said she was analyzing the shape of my head to figure out the best way to cut my hair in a complementing way. Had a haircut from Ms. Nina, it looked nothing like the photos I sent. It looked nothing like all my other cuts(had the same style for over 30 years). Was exactly the kind of cut I tried to avoid; and it looked even worse days later. Every morning I wake up, looking at mirror I need an anger management session. This daily anger will continue till hair grow back & fixed elsewhere... :) Last time someone messed up my hair this bad was 25 years ago by a student apprentice(at least he didn't charge me a premium for it). It brought old memories of crying myself to airport the next day. Salon Elegante is a gem of a salon! Come and see Nina, she owns the salon and is the best stylist I have ever had!!! I have been a fashion stylist on photo shoots for 20 years, so I know the beauty business pretty well and therefore very fussy about who I hand myself to- this lady knows her stuff. I think one of Nina's biggest assets is her skill in an overall beauty look; she advises me on makeup, color, skincare, threading (Nina has a full setup for all these at the salon) and is on point in terms of what is current. I really needed a haircut and a style-fix and my usual stylist was swamped, but I thought I'd dip my toe in by getting a consult first. I set a late afternoon appointment and on my way there...low tire pressure light came on. I pulled into a garage and called Nina to say I would not make it. She said she would wait for me -- how nice is that? Turned out this was my day because the garage dealt with the tires in a flash. After talking with Nina and getting what I thought was great advice, turned out she had time to cut and she did. Looks absolutely fabulous! She took photos for me so I could show them to my regular stylist (again, how thoughtful is that!). I will almost certainly be back to get my hair done by Nina. Took a chance, called the local salon, and talked to Nina. She accommodated our schedule (it was tight), cautiously took my daughter's ideas ("Are you sure?
