New to the area and decided to check this place out. Horrible experience. The utensils used were not serilised, they were old and they were dull. The technichian pulled at my cuticles till I said "ouch" at which time it stryed to bleed. Her response "oh oh". I asked for shinny buff. What was done was my nails sanded down and then oil was applied with a tiny piece of paper towel. Never ever, never ever again. read more

I had high hopes going here because I had noticed a couple girls I knew get full sets from here and they looked great. They told me a long as it asked for Lee I wouldn't be let down. I got there on time for my appointment and they took me right away. My technician was finishing up another customer so they had an older male technician put the tips on in the meantime. He got glue all over my fingers. Even glued himself to my hand twice and had to pull away. I asked my nail tech (Lee) if she could please do my acrylics as thin as possible as I'm used to gelgel on my natural nails. They weren't as thin as I'd liked but she did a good job. Also, I asked for thin square shaped but they came out a little too boxy and sharp for me so I had to re-file them once I got home. They did however have a lot of colors to choose from and everyone was very friendly. But I don't see myself going back just due to personal preference. read more

I'm a regular here but didn't realize I never reviewed them. Very nice staff although I have a main person I see named Nancy, she's sweet and takes her time with you. She does it all, mani, pedi, waxes and acrylic. She's soft spoken but will always make sure to give you what you want and if it's not right, she will suggest something better. She's also killer at designs, free hand and going by pictures. The owner is Nina and she does it all as well. Marshall is the only guy there and I've see him do many regular and gel manis that came out to perfection. Ann is also a fav of mine. She's sweet and bubbly, makes you feel right at home. I go to this shp about every 2-3 weeks for manis and once a month for pedis, so I'm there often. They have designated parking in the Walgreens next door and there is also a Dunkin donuts and stop and shop down the street, so convenient! At times they can become very busy so I would suggest you call ahead and make an appointment. They accept walk ins but you may have to wait awhile because they do have many regulars that have reoccurring appointments. Ty have a decent amount of nail polish colors and brands. Another bonus is FREE WIFI for costumes! Nancy works most days except Wednesday and Sunday. She's a gem try her out sometime. Tell her Holly sent you! read more

Eyelashes extension review... Do not get them done here. They literally used nail glue/super glue. The lashes are the cluster lash you get at Walgreens and do yourself. They weren't even on my lashes. Literally glued to my lids. They're still there which is good but if I try to take them off they're pulling off my real lashes. Went in for a dip manicure and regular pedicure. The color selection was not great. The pedicure was fine, color wasn't great but the service itself and outcome was nice. When it was time to get my dip manicure I was given a different nail tech. She cut me several times. When filing my nails she left them jagged. The dip was left so thick on my nail it doesn't even look natural, usually they buff it down but my nails have round globs of dip sitting on top of them. And she paid no attention to the insides of my nails which are filled with dip. The worst part is I had to pay for it and tip. Other ppl I know told me good things but it seems that it's only if you get a specific nail tech. Never going back. read more

They skip over walk in customers who may not be regulars at their salon who have been sitting there waiting to get their nails done for people who are also walk ins but are regulars. This is my favorite place to get my nails done. The people that work here are professional and wonderful. They really care about giving good service, and they are always making sure their clients are happy. I left my wallet here by accident on a Sunday and realized it was gone the following tuesday and went back to see if it was there. They told me they had looked for me on facebook and the white pages but were unable to contact me. (they obviously didn't want to show up at my house) but when I went to retrieve it, every penny was in the wallet, and nothing was missing. (not that I expected it to be - but it was nice to be reassured) I was so happy, and it gave me a lot of confidence in them. As for their services - they are amazing, and affordable. I usually do the Jelly Pedicure mixed with the Spa pedicure. instead of charging you for both they tack on 5 bucks and it's a 2 hour long JOY of a pedicure. I am writing this review 2 and a half weeks after my last visit there, and my pedicure is not even chipped. They do amazing work. Highly recommended! read more

Came here as a walk-in on a Sunday for a pedicure and was taken right away. The tool sterilizers were visible and they took them right out before starting. The chairs have remote controls to give you the type of massage you want, and overall the pedicure and service were great. Three weeks later my polish is still bright, hasn't chipped, and my toes are lookin' stellar. When I saw that they charge $30 for a mani/pedi combo, I vowed I had to come back and see what they can do for my nails too. The fact that they also have the CND nail polish for shellac is a bonus, as I've been doing those thanks to a Groupon and am in love with the fact that the shellac lasts chip-free, shine and all, for a full 2 weeks straight virtually no matter what you do with your hands. Well I strolled in just after 2:30 and my poor tootsies sat in ice cold water until 3:08. No true eye contact bc apparently, if you are not a regular, there isn't much to talk about. Don't you hate when you walk into an establishment and you ask for services and they say "pick out a color, one moment!" as if you will be seen soon? Well this was one of those times. Yes it is Memorial day weekend, yes they had ppl a person available, but who wasted 20 minutes chatting it up w a regular, who she obviously woulda preferred doing, who (by the way) came in 15min after me but will prob be done before me bc her pedicurist was on the ball. I got a full set here for the first time and when Mai did them they came out perfect. I came here a second time and I'm pretty sure Nina was the one doing them. Not only did she rush me to pick a color( which now I regret the color I chose) but she made most of my nails crooked, and assumed I wanted short coffin nails. If I hadn't quickly snatched my hand out of hers she would've clipped one short. She then filed my nail thinking I want coffin. So now I have one nail thinner than the others. So overall to summarize how terrible it was, 1.) she rushed me to choose a color 2.) didn't ask what length I wanted, almost cut short my nail until I spoke up 3.) didn't ask what shape I wanted, shaped it herself till I spoke up 4.) made more than half of them crooked They still came out decent but I wouldn't recommend getting a full set here unless it's with Mai because no one else knows what they're doing with acrylics!!! read more

I write this with no intent of anybody losing their jobs but to teach a business that you don't treat paying customers the way I was treated getting my nails done. I went in and asked for gel mani/ pedi. I was so happy to be there as I'm a single mom who can't afford nails consistently. I hadn't been to your shop in two months. I was really looking forward to relaxing and letting life's woes be paused but instead my experience was just opposite. A male worker commented about the fat on my arms giggling because of the massage chair. I was then stared at, laughed at by a few of the other employees who weren't with a customer. Six employees with two customers me and another woman. I don't have to speak your language to watch you make fun of me. I instantly turned beat red because I was now stuck in the chair and couldn't leave halfway through. This is why I changed my mind and didn't get the manicure and left you the note telling you my issue with my service at your establishment. . If anybody's reading. I once weighed 265 lbs and now weigh 1451bs. Just when you think you're doing good in life you get body shamed like this. Totally unacceptable in business and in life. I asked for a full set and got them, then a day later i noticed the nails were very sensitive & my ring finger started bleeding. I had to ask my cousin to take it off & if you look closely it looks like it's starting to turn into an infection. Clean shop and wonderful, friendly people work here!! They strive to offer their customers the best manicures & pedicures. I love the fact that there is a private waxing room, not all salons offer that. They have their sterilizing equipment in plain view and they took utensils out of their for my nail treatments. I was happy to see that because I was sure that they were using sterilized equipment! They have all new pedicure chairs & manicure stations here!!! The salon has parking on the side of the building as well as customer parking is allowed in the Walgreens parking lot. (They showed me the letter from Walgreens management that states that the patrons for their strip of stores are permitted parking in their lot) I highly recommend this salon. My mom and I came here for a pedicure and I asked how long the wait would be, one of the women there said just a few minutes. They told us to sit in the pedicure chairs and put our feet in the water. So we sat there and waited, and waited, and waited finally almost half an hour later with our feet in luke warm water. I told my mom lets get out of here I am not waiting any longer this is ridiculous. So my mom and I put our flip flops back on feet wet and all and walked out. I tried Ninas today for the first time because it was convenient and had a few good reviews. I called and asked if they had time for a full set which they did and within minutes I was there and in a chair. I sat in the first station next to the door (I didn't get her name) when I first walked in she was on the phone placing an order for supplies (which was fine with me) I'm an easy to please person and I hate being rude or calling people out on things especially at their own job. after she placed an order she made 4 more phone calls ALL on speaker phone to other people and actually had conversations with them while half ass doing my nails or even making me wait which I thought was absurdly rude and have never in my years of getting my nails done had this done to me!! She NEVER asked me how long or short I wanted my nails (I wanted them pretty short due to work) she left them pretty long and said that they shouldn't be too long or too short. Uh ok? She cut my cuticle too short and made me bleed never said sorry or anything. She never said anything to me the whole time I was in the place! a regular client comes in and asks the guy behind my nail tech if she could get a few of her nails redone with gel - he didn't seem to understand what she meant so while my nail tech was painting GEL onto my nails he interrupts my nail tech and she turns to talk to the client and smudges ALL my left hand fingers!!! Doesn't say sorry doesn't even repaint them or cleaned them up!!!! She put them under the lights and finished up and said done $42 you owe. Really????? Got gel nails done and they didn't even last me a week before they started peeling off, but the salon was very clean and seemed nice to I gave it another shot, when I went back the next time I asked for two base coats to last longer and she told me I couldn't because it looks "too thick" I told her I wanted it so she then spoke in Chinese as they all looked at me and spoke she then said next time you want two base coats you will have to pay more money, I will never go back again, they clearly use cheap products if you need two coats for it to last longer then a week. read more

I've been coming here for a long time. I always request Nina. She is so fast! I used to always break nails at my old salon. Here, I never break a nail (unless I do something stupid on my end). A bonus is that they are opened on Sundays. I take my mom there every 3 weeks or so and she see's Lee - who she adores. Everyone there is really friendly. I couldn't imagine going to another nail salon to get my acrylics done. I also get my eyebrows waxed there. The waxing is reasonably priced. In fact, all the prices are very reasonable. After years of trial and error at different nail salons -- this is the place that I always end up at and know they will do a fantastic job. I personally think that Li and Marshall do the best at nails and take their time. You can tell that they really care about making your nails (fingers or toes) perfect. Mai is also AMAZING at eyebrow waxes and also takes the time to make my eyebrows perfect. Even though this salon is 30 minutes away from where I live, I know I will leave with spectacular nails that everyone will compliment. On that positive note -- I will say that the owner can be rude and not acknowledge those that aren't regulars. She does yell a lot which can disrupt your relaxing mani/pedi but if you just ignore her and care about the quality of your nails, this is the place to go! read more

Probably one of the fastest/worse manicures I've ever had. The whole thing maybe lasted 15 minutes I'm talking taking my polish off, shaping my nails, splashing lotion on my hands, painting, and drying quick. When I left I had a sloppy paint job and all the nail polish that was taken off before we started all over my fingers. I'm all about making money but the woman doing my nails was 100% rushing because she wanted to take an eyebrow wax. I've only been here once, but I will definitely come back. I don't get manicures, I don't get gel, I don't get designs or fake nails or jewels or whatever. I get my nails done for one thing only: massages/chairs. Anne (Anna?) did my pedicure. I walked in one Sunday without an appointment and didn't have to wait. Anne showed me to the seat and helped me turn on the massage chair (when I couldn't figure out the settings she actually took the remote from me, pushed a combination of buttons, and I was in heaven. she would turn it back on for me every time it went off). One thing I hate about nail salons is that the options are always vague: pedicure, deluxe pedicure, deluxe spa golden amazing pedicure, it's usually unclear what you're getting/paying for. So I asked Anne to give me the pedicure that had the most massage time and scrubs. That was, of course, their super-deluxe organic pedicure= $40. It was fantastic. Between that and the massage chair I almost fell asleep. Anne did a great job, was a little chatty but not overly talkative, and the best part was the polish on my toes lasted for almost two weeks without chipping at all. Worst lash experience every. Should have known better,that for $35 I would be getting exactly what I paid for which was BS. I would have been better off applying my own strip lashes or just sticking to mascara. It literally come out looking as if I had just applied a light coat of cheap mascara. These barely there lashes were of cheap whole sale quality,gave me that annoyingly uncomfortable pinching feeling to my lash line. And didn't even last 5 full days till 85% had fallen out. So I returned unhappy and wanting them either fixed by a more experienced technician or removed all together. I was told to return the following day to consult with the original tech. BS!!!!
