I got a pedi and came in with nail design inspo pic. It took a long while to get my pedi and nails done but it was all very worth it. Nails are still done after about 3 weeks (photo provided) and still receive compliments here and there! Place is super clean and staff are super understanding and kind. Something happened with my usual spot or do my own. So I ventured out . For example I used to be a nail tech , pregnant and just wanted a nice little nice spa day before my baby shower. I had Kevin ( I also was near one of his nail clients when I got mine done, and she had come back and was satisfied) for a pedicure, it was relaxing and he was gentle and didn't rush. Personally a 70$ deluxe pedicure is crazy but it was nice. Would come back for it. Also listened to specifics I had. I had another lady with her name beginning with "I" cannot remember. I got a liquid gel short set. Very short. 93$ for short is partially insane. But yk 80 plus the 13 for the French sure. The only thing I ask for is to not treat me like I'm inconveniencing YOU, by making sure my service is done correctly. As a licensed nail tech- you shouldn't be rushing, I get you wanna move on to other clients, you shouldn't be getting annoyed I'm triple checking your work (which I needed to because the French are messy.) and if I'm having to note to you several times to make them square and sharp, (which because there was rushing and rounding my square...it added more time to fix. ) then you I asked if I may use the file and show her , and I'm guessing the owner got confused (which I understand how it looked but at that point I was already in the chair for a while and I felt like she was rushing me out ) and asked me if I needed her to do something I said yes I wanted it square. There's no reason my nail I did- looked like what I wanted.. while I'm looking at everything else and it's not. Long story short,few nicks, some nails have wide sidewalls and some aren't, some French's are Swiss. You can't tell unless you are looking up close and yk do nails. Thankfully, I own files to sharpen them towards the tops. -Don't rush your customers out -don't round square nails out unless a customer asks -don't question me over analyzing because you're rushing (especially if I had an appointment and they wanted me )to do the pedicure I added on first BEFORE IT GOT BUSY. -using an emery board on hard gel isn't...yk ideal -using an acrylic file you should file the sides so you don't cut your client:)))) because when I filed my own nail on the sides and top. I didn't slice myself but got sliced. I kept apologizing as I felt bad (I was also one of those people that used to get scared to speak up, one thing about me is I'm not gonna be quiet...especially when I notice rushing) that I'm very particular but it wasn't fun not being able to chill out at my appt without feeling like I'd leave being somewhat okay. Mind you took longer to fix because she was rushing, and nearly didn't top coat correctly so she had to buff it and do it again. They're cute they're okay. But would I come here again for a hard gel service again, probably not. It seems like the only person that probably had felt that. The inside is beautiful, spacious, good ventilation but really reallllly reallllly gotta not worry about quantity and focus on quality. $176. Not even my regular charges that and they're work is clean and precise. read more

I came in for a mani-pedi on a Saturday around noon and was pleasantly surprised that I could walk in without much of a wait. My pedicure turned out really nice! Unfortunately, my manicure was a different story. I got cut a few times during the process, which definitely hurt, but I tried to brush it off at the time. The bigger issue came a couple days later when I noticed my fingernails didn't even match my toes anymore. Looking back at photos from the day of the appointment, it's clear the color on my nails actually changed -- you can literally see where the top coat was applied, and it turned this strange brown shade. I'm really disappointed, especially since this happened right before my vacation. I was expecting my nails to last and look consistent for more than just a day or two. read more

New to East Boston, and this place is a local nail salon right across the street from the grocery store Shaws. My husband and I tried it for the first time 4 days ago. The nail salon is larger than normal, with a very modern plush decor. The technicians were very friendly, after we walked in we were greeted and directed on where to wait before beginning our services. I got a French tip manicure and pedicure and my husband got a simple manicure and pedicure, minis polish. Overall we both enjoyed the experience, we were serviced very quickly and in and out in about an hour and a half. So far my nails still look great and I will be back again. read more

Huh, so interesting to read the bad reviews! I have been here probably 4-5 times now and left happy every single time. I get the dip manicure and it is always applied evenly, drilled thin enough (my former salon always left it too thick!), and lasts 4-6 weeks before my nails are too long and I need to get them redone. I feel like they get the shape exactly right, and I love that they drill the cuticles rather than cut them down. I have also gotten a gel pedicure once and it was pretty standard, no complaints at all. It is cute inside, everyone is super friendly, they have great selection of color, and I've never had to wait to get started. It is slightly more expensive than my former salon but since I come so infrequently, it ends up costing less. These are my natural nails, but one broke in a very unfortunate luggage accident, and this most recent time they did an extension on the broken nail for free! Very glad they are in my neighborhood and in close walking distance!! read more

I've been looking for a nail salon in East Boston and oh my gosh I have found the best one! The nail technicians at Beauti nail bar are absolutely amazing, very accommodating and extremely welcoming. I got a full set done by Henry and he was wonderful. Exactly what I wanted and he was very accommodating when I was a little unsure of what I wanted. He was the nicest most informative nail tech I've ever had, answering my questions and concerns thoroughly. I cannot recommend beauti nail bar enough! This full set with tips and funny bunny gel polish was $75 and I feel like that's very fair for what I got. The whole salon is adorn in blush and gold. They don't know how to properly shape nails. Also they will leave you in a chair for 15-20 min telling you nothing until you speak up and then they will bring you to a fan. They also don't give plastic bags so your pedicures don't get ruined in the winter. I had been to Beauti twice before for pedicures and found their service to be excellent. I went again today and had a completely different experience. The woman who did my pedicure cut my toes twice with nail clippers. It hurt enough that I cried out and the owner came over. I told him what had happened and he said nothing and just walked away. She also used water that was too hot and scrubbed my feet so hard I had to ask her to stop. Just as I was finishing up he came back again and asked whether I liked the polish color but said nothing about what had happened. When I was checking out I told him again and he said he knew. I asked why he had done nothing about it and he said there was nothing to do. I told him I was not tipping her and he said OK. He charged me full price for the service. read more

I wanted extensions so I could have a narrow almond look that I get at my home salon and the lady that cut them decided herself that 'short nails are much prettier, long nails aren't good' and repeatedly said so throughout the appointment and continued to cut/file the extensions down to meet my natural nail... they are incredibly uneven and nowhere near the shape I asked for :/ I regret not asking to just take it all off and go elsewhere. read more

Nail tech was very nice and skilled but the dip powder they use (the only option they have) is one I have never seen and the quality was low. All of my nails ended up chipping and borderline crumbing after just a week. If they had other dip brand options such as perfect match or OPI I would be back in a heart beat. read more

As an East Boston resident, I was thrilled to have a new nail salon so close to my home. The Salon is updated, clean, and most staff seemed extremely kind, but after my experience this evening, I will not be returning to Beauti Nail Bar again. I got dip removal and a dip manicure. Shayla drilled extremely aggressively at my natural nails until my nail beds were bright red. I kept flinching and pulling away. She said "your nails are sensitive" and I kindly asked her to turn the drill strength down. She did not bother and continued to drill until the point where my whole body flinched due to the pain she caused me. I was in tears at this point. Shayla was not friendly, welcoming, and rolled her eyes when I asked her to make slight adjustments to the nail length. I also got chrome powder which does not have any shimmer in it but was too scared to speak up due to the earlier events. I have never been so dissatisfied with my nail outcome or experienced such poor customer service. If you are thinking of visiting Beauti Nail Bar, do not book with Shayla. read more
