Yum yum yum! Loved the beef risotto tonight, it had a delicious mushroom wine reduction sauce and the basket of toasted French bread with butter hit the spot. The service was great as always and the owner/cook came out to greet us and made sure everything was perfect. My husband and I were on a bike ride and came across this cafe. Alvaro was outside and offered to give us a take home menu which I thought was really thoughtful. We decided to stay and check it out. WORST restaurant experience ever. On a very slow day they almost refused to seat my family of 10. once we got our drinks the juice tasted as if it was gone bad. When asked to change it the owners wife took the drink out of our hand placed it rudely on our table. After paying we realized that the tip had already been added on our order yet the waitress accepted a total of 35$ more to our tab once confronted she rudely said "then take your money" and threw the money on the floor. I understand large parties could be stressful but we did nothing to be treated this way. This was not our first time here we regularly go to their original location last time I eat here. REPLY TO OWNER: No I don't think there is a confusion you guys also have a location in huntington park. I understand you wouldn't want a bad review but this is not a false story. i'm sure you are also the wife of the owner of this restaurant that was involved this day. 2nd REPLY TO OWNER: Why keep assuming competition? What other "french" cafes are there is bell ? This is story is true and your are 100% the person involved in it I'm sure you don't want to look like a bad guy. ive been going to the location in HP that doesnt have a great parking spot but coming to this new location, wow! its awesome. the food is just as good, the employees are friendly and welcoming. I had the vanilla latte & it was made to perfection i even got one for the road. for food i definitely recommend the smoked salmon eggs benedict. my boyfriend got the veggie omelet with a caramel macchiato. the portions of food are great, hopefully they stay this way because new spots tend to cut down on portions after some time. fingers crossed. large parking in rear & the chef (if its not busy) comes out and also makes sure the food was great. i will be definitely coming here often on weekends. read more

Once I tried Nina's breakfast I never went back to IHOP. The food is always fresh and delicious. Even in busy days(Sunday) they do their best to accommodate you.
