The staff kept asking if I was okay and really hit the areas that I needed most work on. This place is a SCAM! I called and asked for the happy hour massage. The board outside states Monday-Friday 10:30-4pm $20 hour long massage and they said ok! So I walk in five min later again Friday at 11am and they say the OFFER IS OVER. The board is right there and when I point that out to them that the board is right there that I called and confirmed she just laughed at me and tired to up sell me a $30 hot stone massage. I said no and left. Because she also said she would be the one giving me the massage I knew it would be half assed. It's the principle if you offer it you should honor it. The spa is clean and extremely quiet and the staff was courteous and attentive. I also misplaced and left behind a very special family heirloom ring that would have devastated me had I lost it. I've been needing a massage for a while, so I decided to come here. The lady at the front was very nice and friendly. I requested a male masseur and she told me to wait a while. Danny was my masseur and he did a great job. I got the combination massage. He was very professional and didn't mind getting out all the kinks. Some places were a little painful but I think I just needed a massage in the worst way. Overall he did a great job! The 2 pieces of feedback I would give: There is an odor when you come in. I think the place needs some moving air. I wish you were asked if there are any focus areas you wanted your masseur to focus on. SUPER RELAX MASSAGE has been at this location for years, yet my eyes keep sliding over it, inevitably drawn to the giant yellow arrows of In-N-Out. The shopping center this massage place belongs to is large yet the parking lot is always full. Street parking is available but sometimes that's a challenge too. GREAT PRICE! James found and pressed, not kneaded, the knots and painful areas in my back and shoulders. I walked out feeling much better than when I walked in. I wasn't completely pain-or-knot-free but I'm sure had I ordered more than 60 minutes of massage, he would have squeezed the knots out of them. He also did firm, yet gentle, twists on my arms which helped unknot areas in my shoulders. This place is great if one of your resolutions is to get a regular massage. You can go 4-5 times here for the price of 1 fancy-spa visit. Speaking of which, though this place is nothing fancy, it is clean and looks pretty reputable-looking. I've been to this massage location several times in the past few weeks and I really love it. The waiting area is clean, smells great, and is inviting. The massage room was also very clean with a comfortable bed. I had a heavy blanket on as it was a little cold. It can get quite noisy as the rooms are not completely enclosed. The walls don't go to the top of the ceiling and the door is just a cloth door. But it is not too bad. I had Lisa both times and she was great. Very accommodating to my needs and a sweet lady. Making the appointment was easy and they were able to get me in both times last minute. They also have a rewards program. After 10 massages the 11th is free. I will be back often. read more

On Tuesday November 5, 2019 I called Super Relax Massage to schedule two massages for that evening. I asked for one female and one male masseuse. When we arrived, only two females were available. We were told that the male had just started massaging someone else. She assured us that she was strong and could do a deep massage. During the massage she kept sneezing and sniffling. I asked her if she had a cold and she said no, but it was non stop. The other masseuse kept leaving to answer the phone. The two girls kept conversing with the male masseuse during the entire hour, disrupting the quiet. When our hour was up and I wanted to tip her, she said my tip wasn't enough ($5.00), because I kept asking her to massage harder. I reminded her that she said she was strong and could do a deep massage, just as good as any man. She said, "This isn't a food counter." The woman was extremely rude, demanding and argumentative. The last thing I wanted for my evening last Thursday night was to relax. Maybe "Super Relax" would be the right place as suggested in their business name. Guess again. There's a few parties to blame for this and I'll get to that. Back in December I had a purchased a Groupon for this massage spot. In January I got an email from Groupon asking me about my experience. I called Groupon and let them know that I never used it so if they could please reverse it. My voucher, a gift voucher I purchased and even my sister's voucher were all marked as used and Groupon reversed them as we did not use them. Last Thursday, March 9th, I called to see if they were free to take walk-ins. It was about 6:45p-7p and the woman that answered the phone said yes. I showed up 15-20 minutes later and was semi-greeted by a masseuse that was waiting in their little lobby area having a late night snack. I didn't check in as there was no receptionist in sight, as I've seen before, so I followed him to the chair. This massage was not as great as the others. The water for the foot bath was tepid at most and the masseuse was giving me a vigorous rub down. I mostly felt the pain on my neck and back - did he think anyone could like that? I sure didn't. I feel like he was trying to work me into a carpaccio. The massage was over (thankfully) and I proceeded to pay with my voucher. I presented my Groupon and one of the female masseuses said - No. No Groupon. I asked her why and she said - No - and pointed to the wall. The little lobby that I spoke of earlier is still part of the larger room where they do the chair massages except there's a small divider between the two, so the entire room mostly has that dim, mood lighting to relax you - although I must say again, how is pounding a relaxation technique? Any who, so I squinted to read the small print, handwritten sign and it said that: "no longer accept Groupons or other online services" and "Old owner find out how many were sold? Who got money back?" She said that they've been under new ownership for 3 months. I started connecting the dots and this explains everything. If three months is accurate, then the Groupons that I purchased were technically already under this new ownership but they failed to relay this information to any companies that the previous owner worked with. The previous owner failed to make these communications as well if they knew they were selling their business. The business still has the same name, so anyone can easily assume that nothing has ever changed. I have been here before and they did accept Groupons, so I didn't think to ask when I got there, although there was no receptionist to ask. The sum of this story: I had to pay in full for a massage that I didn't care for and still felt the soreness and pain for two days after! When I was leaving a tip, the woman said: Oh no honey, leave more it's better. Granted I was leaving a tip when I probably shouldn't have and this woman is complaining for more gratuity. The nerve. That's the last time that I will step foot into that business. The new and old owners are responsible for this. Groupon is also responsible for this. Although they may not have been communicated, they should've noticed a red flag when countless, I'm sure, vouchers were redeemed at the same time - which I feel the old/new owner did as a means to not deal with it. If you have a Groupon for this business, demand your money - not Groupon credit - back. Horrible experience. read more
