We bought a 2015 Infinity QX80 with 94600 from here and we don't even have 1000 miles on it, and it is broken down. It said it needed (2) coils replaced and after replacing the two coils it is still not running right. We went ahead and replaced all the coils, and it is still not running right. We had it towed to an Infinity dealer and the service tech look the service records up and apparently the vehicle had the same issue at 79000 miles with the first owner. It appears they got rid of it and the second owner was having the same issues and got rid of it and then the 3rd owner had the same issues and got rid of it to 9 Star Autos. I am pretty sure 9 Star Autos knew of these issues and sold us this piece of shit. The fuse box lid was missing and there is evidence of someone tampering with the wire harnesses. I wish I would have read the reviews on here because I would have never bought from this dealer. Now we have paid two car payments for this piece of shit, and we have only driven it less than 1000 miles. Do yourself a favor and steer clear from 9 Stars Auto Group!! read more

Purchasing the vehicle was smooth or so we thought. This dealership doesn't help to register your vehicle so BE CAREFUL. They did not pull for taxes & fees like we thought they did & when we went to register the vehicle we got charged $806!!!!! Our vehicle loan was well over the sell price for this to have been included in our final sale price. We had to pay taxes on the dealer fees as well. Also, the button on the trunk of the vehicle was broken & when brought up the seller assured us it was fixed & to not touch it for 24 hours. We did not drive the car for two days & when we went to open the trunk the button popped right off. read more

This dealer is nothing but a joke and a scam !!! I had just bought a diesel truck from there recently for $17,527 and some change. Everything was fine with the truck for about 3 weeks. After 2 days of having the truck I decided to do an oil change and everything looked alright at first. I did the oil went out for the day and when I came home I checked the level to make sure everything was fine. Come to find out the level was high but I didn't think anything of it maybe I put a little much in. Then next day all of a sudden the truck started having a fuel leak somewhere because I was doing 5 mpg. I thought it might just be injector seals leaking diesel into the oil causing the level to rise and my mpg to drop. A few days later the truck began having a huge coolant leak due to the upper and lower radiator hoses from the engine side. So I took it to a dealer to get the fuel leak and coolant done. Now keep in mind I have connections to the dealer I took the truck too for work. I know they won't screw me on prices or parts and it'll get done right with a warranty. Come to find out the truck had more issues. It also needed the serpentine belt, A/C belt and a tensioner because it was slinging rust. I told the dealer to go ahead and do the work. They quoted me about $3,300 for serpentine belt, AC belt, belt tensioner, upper and lower radiator hoses, and injector seal testing. Which isn't too bad until the technician did a oil change on the truck and drove it home and back. The technician found out the oil levels did go up but didn't smell like diesel or have diesel in it. I told them to go ahead with the work and keep me informed and so they did. After all the testing they found out the seals are fine but the truck is making its own oil. They also found out the fuel leak is from the high pressure fuel pump. So just as it is right now the nine star auto group sold me a truck that is doomed to blow out a motor with it making its own oil. But going further into the truck to swap the high pressure fuel pump the truck cab needs lifted off to access it. When the technician was getting ready for the work they informed me the cab mounts are done for and need replacement. So now I need serpentine belt, AC belt, belt tensioner, high-pressure fuel pump, cab mounts, upper and lower radiator hoses this brings my cost out to $9,184.96 to repair this truck which is over half the cost I bought it. So I reached out to nine star multiple times stating I know it's sold as is but it hasn't even been 2 months and I'm having to drop almost 10k into this truck and I would like to talk someone who can help. They told me to talk to PJ and call back in a hour so I did and got told he wasn't there and to try again in an hour. After another hour I called requesting PJ then got told he's not in but he can't do anything about it and that it's my problem for taking it to a dealer claiming dealers are expensive saying that dealers do something for 100 but if I let their mechanic do it then it'll be 20. I've mentioned to them that I understand it's sold as is and they had me sign a contract not to sue them but I asked if they would atleast cover half the cost being that they sold me a screwed vehicle that needs major work done. I got told there's nothing they can do. I also get they have a mechanic but I'm sorry I'm not gonna give my truck to you for it to come back ruined. So now I'm paying 500 a month for a truck and I'm gonna have to pay almost 10k to have the truck fixed this dealer is a joke and scam DO NOT BUY a vehicle from here. I found a good car on CarGuru and contacted dealer. PJ responded quickly. They said they had put the wrong price on Car Guru and updated the price increased by $1000, but PJ said they would honor the previously advertised price. No problems taking car for test drive, absolutely no pressure from PJ while in show room. Asked to take to one of the local mechanic shops nearby - see my other review for Foreign Auto Services but the short of it was they were great too, Inspection revealed a few minor issues that PJ either took care of right then and there (dirty air filter) or knocked off a few hundred dollars from the asking. I would not hesitate to do business with them again should they have a car I was looking for. All in all a good experience. read more

It has treated me well for 6 years but it's up to around 170K miles, has a broken top that is a pain in the rear and costs me a significant amount of money annually to "revive" after 6 months of down time. I felt it was time for a change and came across a Jaguar convertible that - lo and behold - was also a 1997. Beautiful car, but noticed it was for sale at this small dealer, who clearly has mixed reviews. I e-mailed them and made an appointment, showed up on time, only to see someone else checking out the ride as though they were VERY interested. Bummer. Turns out the prospective buyer was a former Jaguar employee for over 20 years who loved the car and wanted to buy it for his son. Selfishness aside (lol), I was very pleased when the associate P.J. honored my original appointment and allowed me to check out the car and decide before allowing this gentleman to commit to it. P.J. pulled it up front, handed me the key and - unlike what some people have claimed in their reviews - I was free to drive it around and kick the tires for a good 45 minutes in the streets of Chantilly. The price was firm and their vehicles are sold in "as-is" condition with no warranty, but every bit of research I conducted indicates that I received a great deal on this 79K mile beauty. Their showroom is small but immaculate, and you can tell that the vehicles they sell are "high end" vehicles, rather than trash. I am only a few days in, but the car is fantastic in the spring sunshine and I am looking forward to a wonderful summer with it! My daughter bought a car from them and we were told that 'out the door' (tax, title, tag) would be a certain price. My daughter went to the DMV to register her car and was told that the dealer CAN and SHOULD HAVE charged her tax when they sold her the car ($290). Nine Stars Auto did not since it was more convenient to them to pass the work onto the buyer and lead the buyer to think they were getting a good deal. Bottom line is I've bought many cars in many states (being military) over the last 30 years and never has a dealer not charged the buyer tax. I would not recommend and I would never use Nine Stars Auto again. read more

I bought a 2005 BMW Z4 with 65k with this dealer in March 2019. The entire transaction was far far smoother than I ever thought was possible. Which is saying a lot, because I strongly dislike pushy salesmen. This was NOT the case here. It went like this. I made an appointment to view the vehicle. 2 hours later I viewed the vehicle. Everything checked out normal. The car was SUPER clean, inside and out. They seem to detail every car they sell, and the pictures they take are very accurate. Their showroom featured nothing but high quality vehicles mostly 10~ years old around the 100k mile mark. Mostly BMW/Audi/Mercedes, etc. Anyways, I felt the vehicle was appropriately priced. I negotiated a couple hundred off, handshake, the deal was done. Kamran(I assume the owner) was very straightforward, honest. I came back the next day to pickup the car. No up sells, no hidden fees, none of that nonsense! So whats the "catch?" To my understanding their cars are sold "as is". That's why their prices are so low, even for quality vehicles. This location will scam you! I bought a car and it practically fell apart after I drove off the lot. On top of that, one day after I bought the car it rained and the beautiful paint job went from shiny to shabby. There were so many scratches and dings they covered up I thought someone had vandalized my car. I took it to the police station and the officer, a car enthusiast, told me the scratches were old and they used a wax job to cover it up. Since then, after less than a few weeks I had to put several thousand dollars into the car just to pass MD state inspection. I even called the manager and he called me a liar and insulted me by telling me there is no "magic wax job" to cover up scratches. I would never ever refer them even to my worst enemy. read more
