The waitress didn't know half the things on the menu and could not under stand the order. The food took forever. The drinks came after the food. Went here for 2 person Chaat Dish, Food was acceptable, on par in terms of pricing for what you get. Freshness is also OK. Quantity also OK with the price. However the bigger issue here is, IF YOU Sit in and eat, they will hit you with a "extra surcharge" that is NOT MENTIONED on their menu. And the cashier will simply say "the register rings it up automatically" they pulled this shit on me and I said listen, nowhere does it say that on your menu, that you going to charge me extra so Im only going to pay the menu price. After some haggling they caved. Sneaky little bastards, be careful. I was craving chaat but i wont be returning here. also This place is dirty. The floor is so oily, I could hardly walk. The path to the bathroom is stacked with supplies and you have to squeeze your way to get there. Terrible place, worse food. Went there for the iftaar buffet. Food was not fresh. Seemed like they had reheated whatever had been left over from the previous day and served that. Other than that, the qeema was bland and tasteless, the biryani was stale, and the pakoras were full of oil, as if they had been put in oil to reheat them. Aside from that, the place was so dirty. The floor was sticky, the crockery and cutlery were not properly washed with stuff like hair and food stuck to the plates and spoons. The bathroom was horrible too. Perhaps the only saving grace of the place was the naan, which was served hot and crispy and the service (the lady at the counter was very nice and friendly). The place looks like nothing special from the outside but they have amazingly good food. I went there on a whim today because of the lunch buffet. I wasn't expecting much but within the first bite I knew that the food was top notch. The buffet items were refilled quickly even though it was a slow day and everything tasted fresh. As a bonus you get a generous serving of freshly made nan with your buffet meal. I only wish I had a bigger appetite so I could have eaten more. This place has the best tasting Southeast Asian food I have had in S.FL My wife also felt the same way. We can't wait to come back and try their other offerings. Check this place out! A full blown mithai shop in South Florida - ooh, heavenly!!!!!! Went here this past weekend and they have all the good stuff.. I bought the Gulab Jamuns and the Jalebis and an assortment of everything else on display. Think they probably have the best gulab jamuns there... It's not over priced either - paid $10.50 for 1lb of jalebis and 1/2 dz gulab jamuns... I thought this place was Indian but was wrong. I don't know anything about Pakistani food but if this is a sample of what they eat, I am a new fan. I have eaten here about five times and have never been disappointed. Their weekday buffet is great. Nice selection and very tasty. The front counter is stuffed full of sweet treats and they do quite a large sideline of making sweets for retail distribution. The staff, I have only seen two people here, are both friendly and helpful. The dining room is always occupied by families and their are TV's showing Indian language shows- interesting to watch when you are enjoying your meal. One of my fav places in SFL Sounds crazy - decor is simple, and staff is inconsistent but its the best food ever. The food is so good, that we had them cater part of our wedding menu - yes, its that good. Walked in on New Year's Eve, literally one person handling the entire place from the phone orders, to take out, kitchen work and taking dine In orders. How the heck does one person do all that. No wonder he looked miserable and exhausted. We saw 2 families who were seated before us not being able to order because the guy hadn't entertained their table at all. They got angry and walked out the restaurant. We waited 20 mins for him to even give us the menus. At that point we knew there's no way we were going to get our food anytime soon since it was only one person working so we decided to walk away as well. Don't waste your time and money on this place. The cheap ass owner should really consider hiring at least 1 more person to run this place or just close down. read more

Ordered 4 items and each one was a bigger disappointment than the other. 1. Went with their supposed speciality, i.e. nihari. They served me nihari from the day before bc the meat pieces were frozen from inside. I asked if it is fresh and their very unapologetic waiter told me he will prepare it fresh, so he takes the plate of cold nihari, and returns 10 minutes later after reheating it properly. Kind of obvious what happened there. Nihari was served plain with one piece of roti and no regular condiments such as lemon/ginger/green chili that are a MUST with the dish. 2. I also got beef chapli kabab but they served me chicken chapli instead? Who in the world makes chicken chapli kabab? I don't know if they lied bc I could have sworn that the menu said chapli came with a naan. But no, all I got was two pieces of chicken patties with just some onions on top. No raita, no bread, nothing to eat it with. 3. Also got samosa, very bland. 4. Got their lahori chaat, which was semi decent and probably the only thing I ended up eating out of the lot bc everything else was just that bad. The food isn't bad. Spicy dishes. Some maybe excessive spicy that ruins the flavors. Usually with reheating, gets worse.. If it's made fresh, it's good. Have issue with their billing. There is no waiter and any customer service. I took a buffet where I didn't even get a glass of water or seen the face of a waiter. I was charged full tip on top on government taxes. That is not right.. On the way out, I took an ice cream from their freezers and they charged me tip on that as well. Owners are not honest with money. If you are charging tip, you better offer some customer service. Go elsewhere for honest business. We came for a second time last Friday to try our the buffet. Wow!! it was amazing! They had a limited spred of dishes but each dish was better than the rest. Goat curry and chicken tikka masala made up the non veg entrees, veg samosas, and freshly made chicken kebab for starters, and dal and mix veg curry for the veggie entrees. The rotis were freshly made an served unles most other buffets where it is premade and kept on the buffet. This makes them delicate and soft and a pleasure to eat. Dessert were gulab jamun and carrot halwa and we were sad we did not have enough tummy capacity left to enjoy them more! We don't have a lot of halal Pakistani options in Phoenix, AZ, so we are always looking for options when we visit other states. I wanted to try the halwa poori since it was a weekend and staying in Miami beach, it was an hour drive to Sunrise. We were so excited to try this place and it did not disappoint!! OMG!!!!! a group of us tried to eat here for lunch... when the hostess brought us to the table -- there was a BIG cockroach on top. no, it was not a palmetto bug - it was a massive roach. It was so disgusting. the hostess took forever to go get a napkin to get rid of it. and then... when we sat down.. there was another roach on the floor. we literally ran out of the restaurant. Whether you are looking for a quick in and out visit to pick up some gorgeous baked goods or you have decided to sit and dine on their lunch buffet, this little gem is incredible! I have been here at least 1/2 dozen times in the past 4-5 months of first discovering this anomaly in South Florida. I would have to say that I have not ventured a ton past their gyro platter which is truly something to experience as well as their lunch buffet which was amazing. If you are in a huge hurry, no problem you can grab some of their sweets and other items to go (you can buy samosas by the piece!). The staff is extremely friendly and everything is made in house! If you are there at the right time, you can see them bring out the baking pans with the goods still on them to stock in their display case. If you have never experienced sweets like this before, they will walk you through it and even let you sample before committing!!!
