I have been going to this flower shop for years and I have never been disappointed! Aida is a GEM! Her arrangements and bouquets are always beautiful and look very expensive, not to mention the flowers are always fresh and fragrant. My first encounter with this flower shop was when I received a bouquet of flowers on my birthday. I was so impressed by how beautiful the bouquet was that I needed to know where this shop was located. The shop was recently remodeled/organized and it looks a lot more inviting than it used to. Nonetheless, I care more about the finished product than I do about the look of the store. The area where she keeps the flowers is a relatively small but don't let that discourage you. I always tell Aida how much I'm willing to spend and what kind of flowers I want and she never disappoints! And when I say never disappoints, I mean NEVER!! Think over a dozen long stem roses for less than $40. I mean...that's a DEAL! Flowers are so expensive, and nice long stem roses are even more expensive. My family and friends are always shocked at how pretty the bouquets are. It's not just wrapped in clear plastic, she always add a colored wrap with the flowers and the bouquets are usually tiered. Nirvana is definitely a well-hidden gem in Glendale. Customer service is amazing. Aida does exactly what you want her to do. Prices are low and the flowers are always beautiful and fresh. This review is in regards to the customer service for this flower shop. Unfortunately I was unable to get anywhere with the lady on the phone I also did not get her name because she never gave it upon answering the phone but she had a thick accent. I am assuming she was not the owner, because she is loosing money right off the bat. Dear owner, have someone else's answer the phone. It took some difficulty just for her to understand I wanted price information, I repeated this about 6 times only to hear back "you have wrong number" to which I asked, "isn't this a flower shop?" She quickly said, "oh, yes" as if it just occurred to her what is is she does there. Then I repeated myself, I want prices for flowers. She said, ok. And thus begin the ordeal... Her: what you want? Me: prices on funeral arrangements. Her: ok sprays are (mumbles... Followed by mumbles and fast talking that I could not understand) Me: wait, hold on, how much for the sprays? Her: 1,080... Me: sorry, how much!? Her: eight zero. Me: okay(maybe I misunderstood) standing or a lay spray? Her: Standing. Me: okay, what are the dimensions? Her: yes. (Silence) Me: how big? Her: yes (more silence) Me: is it 2 feet, is it less? What are the dimensions? How big? Her: um... Is 6, 8, how do I explain?... Oh, it's big. I called this Florist from out of state to order a Mother Day's flower bouquet. I put an order for a basket w/ fresh roses and a unique design. The florist made it seem like she would be able to arrange what I had asked for. However, I was disappointed to receive a few pictures of the flowers upon delivery. They looked lackluster, the flowers did not seem fresh, and the colors and arrangement did not match the design that I had specified. I would give this place 1 star except they did deliver on time. read more
