Scrambled eggs, liver mush (well done), and smoked sausage (well done)! Yum! Yum!

OH MY GOODNESS! First time eating here since the long awaited reopening following the pandemic scare! Food was AHmazing! I had eggs, livermush, and smoked sausage! Thank you, Sabrina, for reopening this excellent, iconic restaurant! If you've never been here, GET HERE as soon as possible! This is a restaurant that must be EXPERIENCED to truly appreciate!

I have been in rock hill for over 5 years and didn't even know this place existed. This place is tucked away and it's a hidden gem. The outside does seem slightly sketchy and the inside is similar to An old local dinner. However this place was to capacity on an early Saturday morning. Nothing on the menu was above $6. This place was great and gave the exact breakfast i was looking for. I order grits, eggs, and bacon. Toast comes with each meal and it's served in a basket with an assortment of jellies and other spreads. I would come back because I enjoyed the local feel. Don't let the outside deter you from enjoying this local eatery!

My 1st time here, but we wanted some breakfast and no chain restaurant and when i tell u that's what I got that's exactly what I got. The food was pretty good not the best breakfast but did the job. This is one of my Hometown's oldest dinners. I ordered the fish and grits. It came out hot the grits needed some more flavor m, but with hot sauce, salt and pepper. I doctored them up to protection. It was worth the experience!

Oldest dinner in Rockhill, and the food was very good I would eat here again. Breakfast is good large serving

I just checked this place out for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! The sausage was absolutely fantastic, and the Hashbrowns were the best I've had in rock hill. Don't over look this awesome diner.

It's decent for a take out breakfast. Lately the quality has been lower than normal. Hopefully they will get thru the rough patch, soon

After swapping presents we went down to the restaurant for dinner. It was pretty packed and we were concerned we wouldn't get a table, but the staff allowed us to move chairs around to make room for the 11 of us. Everything about our experience was great. Toya and Brandon were our servers and both of them are excellent at their jobs. They were friendly, engaging, fast and efficient. Somehow with a packed dining room and only a few servers on the floor they were able to keep us all happy and well served throughout the meal. Toya even went the extra mile and had the kitchen send out my daughter's and young nieces' meals first so they wouldn't have to wait or become impatient. The kitchen worked smoothly with us to provide delicious meals for a few members of our family who have gluten and dairy intolerance. All of the food was well prepared and tasty. My sister tried a margarita and said Toya mixed it to perfection. I also wanted to note how clean the dining room (and all of the hotel) is. This is my second stay at the Cambria and it won't be my last. This kind of overall excellence in service and quality deserves repeat business. My sister lives fairly close to Rock Hill and said she'll be back as well to dine at the restaurant. Thanks again for a wonderful experience at the Cambria Hotel/Loom Restaurant! Can't wait to visit again.

Our waitress, Brandi (Brandice), was phenomenal -- knowledgeable, informative, respectful, and genuinely happy to be there. Her energy made the entire experience even better. The restaurant itself is deeply rooted in history as part of the Friendship Nine sit‑in location, and you can feel that significance the moment you walk in. It adds a meaningful layer to an already great dining experience. The bathroom was spotless, the prices were very reasonable, and everything from start to finish felt intentional and well cared for. Highly recommend Kounter for anyone looking for great food, great service, and a place that honors an important piece of Rock Hill's history.

On the menu for today I chose the Blue plate Special ($23) OG, bacon wrapped meatloaf, swirl potatoes, veggie du jour, stewed, collards, steakhouse, vinaigrette, cilantro Crema. The dish was Tender medallions of meatloaf, wrapped in savory bacon. Topped with a steakhouse vinaigrette, tangy, and savory, which had an amazing flavor by itself, I just wish it added more to the main. Which was slightly bland. Unfortunately, this cilantro Crema had no hints of cilantro. The actual star of the show is the collard greens. The Collard greens has a subtle kick, which is amazing and flavorful, and gives that little extra punch. Hand slammed fries ($5) Parmesan - rosemary dusted, roasted tomato malt vinaigrette. Tasty especially with their house made ketchup, but unfortunately, the fries were a little on the soggy side. And a Blake's cider (5). crisp and refreshing. Perfect for a southern Carolina afternoon. Overall, food was delicious, but could use just a hint of attentions to flavor. I would definitely recommend you give Kounter a try. I would love to come back here again and try some more of their menu. Follow me on Yelp and Instagram @noodlesoupr as I travel the world in search of delicious food encounters.

Upon entering, they said they did not have indoor seating to accommodate our large party and we could proceed outside. This was acceptable for us and we followed the hostess out and she placed menus on a table directly in the harsh sunlight and one side was completely soaked with water. We opted to move a few tables over to some that were in the shade and dry. The hostess came out and informed us we had to move and when we politely mentioned that the tables were in the sun, she deadpanned and said, "yeah, so the sun will move." and her reason for us not being able to sit at the tables in the shade was because "the tables are old and we don't serve at them" which doesn't make sense given that they're in the patio. The two girls were incredibly rude and clearly made a point that we were not welcome in the establishment as a large party. (10 adults and 2 children) One of our guests said we would go somewhere else then and the darker haired girl said that would be ideal and we were not welcome at the establishment. We promptly left. This is incredibly unacceptable. We did not feel welcome the moment we entered this establishment and the staff made it incredibly clear we weren't welcome. This is disheartening from a small business, especially one we were so excited to support. Hopefully other large parties have a better experience but the staff is not our favorite. Would've loved the chance to try the food. Unfortunate circumstance.

We were a little confused as to how to enter the restaurant, but I chalk that up to being tired. The space is wide open and airy, with large windows and skylights. The restaurant was nice and clean, save for something that was splashed on the wall in our booth - but it's a restaurant. There's going to be little picky things here and there and I'm sure it was wiped down by the end of the day! Our hostess was also our server and she was so knowledgeable about the menu. I took her suggestions at every turn and did not regret it. We started off with the Bang Bang Brussels Sprouts app and let me tell you - I could've eaten that as my entire meal. They are SO delicious and I'll be dreaming of them until I can return to Rock Hill. Holy cow, they were good - crispy on the outside, loaded with flavor and just enough spice to give the sweetness a little bite. So good. My husband had the country fried steak and he said it was very good. Not the best he's ever had, he said, but good enough. He wished there'd been more steak and less crust, but the flavor was right on. They were out of the salt and pepper flounder, so I changed my order to the ranch chicken. Ummmm....excuse me. Who says not to order chicken breasts at restaurants? The portion size is SO generous and the chicken is SO DELICIOUS that I, the girl who rarely bothers to take leftovers, boxed up what was left and brought it back to my hotel and ate it as a midnight snack. The grilled zucchini served on the side of it was delicious. If I ever get back, I'll ask if I can skip the potatoes in favor of more of that zucchini! We didn't really have room for dessert, but when we heard about the warm banana pudding, we were curious. DO NOT SKIP THIS DESSERT. If you're a banana pudding fan, this will blow your mind. Absolutely incredible! It's both warm and cool at the same time, caramelized bananas and a torched meringue topping were bowl-licking delicious. All in all, this was a fantastic experience and I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Waitress just didn't follow up. My water sat unrefilled for a long time. Fried okra didn't taste like okra - but that suited a few of the party. But a few of us expected okra flavor only to be disappointed. Temp on the fried green tomatoes should have been warmer but overall it was very tasty. Our appetizer empty plates sat for a while - we even stacked them so it was clear they should be cleared. Ordered the salmon, which was good, but so did my mom. We ordered different temps and they couldn't tell which was which. Wife ordered a salad and for the price, there was barely anything there. Mac and cheese is still the star. Oysters were decent - I expected larger. The half chicken was a generous portion - nice crispy outside but a bit dry inside. I wouldn't order it (I almost did, but my one of our party did). One of our party ordered a stuffed leeks and it was so salty it was inedible. They did fix it and admitted it should have never left the kitchen. By the time the replacement came out it was after 6:05 (and they had to leave at 6:15). So they didn't get to eat their celebratory meal with the rest of us. Not the memory you want for a meal. Desserts were good. Tort was dense - honestly not sure if that's normal. Crème brûlée was very good. For a $400+ experience and our history with Pump House, I expected more.
